There was a youth rally/movement today at Awarra community in Ohaji-Egbema LGA of Imo State, where some of the repentant militants were seen among them chanting and dancing to the peace that has returned to their community. According to one of the coordinators Mr Kelechi Opara he said peace has returned to stay forever, oil and gas companies operating in the area should just do the needful by providing them basic amenities and youth empowerment programs. These are some of the pictures from the peace movement.

Nigerians are suffering, so many systems are wrong and this is one of them. Things like...4-10 years work experience, must not be more than 23yrs old.

The problem in this country is that, we know where it pains us but we usually allow serious and imperitive matters to linger for long. Please they should be fast about it because my LGA have suffered for too long.

I don't understand these people at all, FG is negotiating with them they are still doing this shi*t.

I pray they get to agreement and not the one that will take FG forever to fulfill.

This is what NDDC do, abandonment of projects.

FG should play there part fast before these boys will change their minds, why is the meeting taking long to take place?

Nigerians don't panic they re aware of the problems with this site. I could remember what happened to npower the very first set that applied. Till now they re crying cos their data wasnot uploaded after they upgraded. I believe when the fcsc site eventually gets perfect, so many that registered earlier will cry. So don't be afraid cos they might even postpone the exercise untill they rectify the site

Almost same thing with me, it took me straight to My Portal, I believe it was successful because if u ve not submitted ur portal will be empty.

No document is required but u need to fill Certificate No. of ur Primary, secondary nd tertiary education. Also ur NYSC details.

The question we should all be asking ourselves, whether you're from the Niger Delta or not is, what happened to the 13% derivation and NDDC allocations for the past 16 years? With all these the region is still helpless!
For sure, we can't continue like this. As for me, the negotiation should be based on transforming NDDC into a workable entity for the Niger Delta and redefine the corporate objective of the 13% derivation fund. If these are properly managed, the region would be transformed spontaneously with less effort. So much wastes have caused this embarrassment and we're all suffering for it.
