Lol. Someone once said the offsprings tend to gravitate towards the dominant race when marrying...

The more confusing it gets.
The son of a completely WHITE Welsh man. Whose mother is a black Zambian woman is now said to be the first BLACK first minister (leader) in Europe.

Who knows Ajuri Ngelale? Dude that was on Channels TV, later became Buhari’s media assistant and is now Tinubu’s assistant on media.

So if Ajuri Ngelale becomes president of Nigeria in 2027, we would have had the first White President in Africa?

You address people as who they identify as,as per convention. He identifies as black so he is black.

It's entirely up to his daughter which part of her heritage she chooses to identify with ...one or both of them, her decision to make

Based on this logic, it means when you go your door-knocking, you could identify as a white woman?

Means there is no need for you fear then. Yes?

Please people, excuse my ignorance.
Who EXACTLY is a black man/woman?

A White Caucasian Male Welsh Man marries a Black Zambian woman. They give birth to a male son.

Is this male son a Black Man?

If yes, now if this Son (above) marries a white Scottish woman, and they have a daughter. Is this daughter a Black or a White baby?

Honestly, ayam Komfuse.

Hello House! I need assistance with my car insurance. I have received various quotes, which are pretty high and confusing. I currently hold both a UK Provisional Driving License and a Nigerian License, but I am uncertain which option is the best and most appropriate for me. I have noticed that the quotes I receive using my Provisional License are less than £2,000 per year, while those using my foreign license are over £3,000. I also hoped to get recommendations for insurance companies offering reasonable quotes. I appreciate your help!

Which of the licenses will you be using to drive?
You can drive with your Nigerian Licence for up to 12 months - effective from the 1st day you entered the UK.
You can only drive with a provisional licence if you are accompanied by a driver who posseses a full UK driving license, and has possessed that for at least 3 years.

The bolded makes absolute sense.
With a provisoonal licence, the risk of accident is lesser, because you are expected to driving accompanied by an experienced driver (Never alone).
With your foreign licence, you can drive (for up to 1 year) un-accompanied. The risk of accident is much greater - hence the higher insurance premium.

The animals must be slaughtered by hand, not by machine. Once killed, all blood must be completely drained off since consuming fresh blood isn't permissible. The certification for halal meat might be a bit strict, even when it comes to fish. Farm-raised fish isn't considered halal.

Thank you.

Why are you so bitter as if you are from the sadEast part of Nigeria. Every presidential candidate promised to remove the subsidy

adekzy:

Nobody mentioned South Easterners, you arrive at such a conclusion yourself.... besides

Not just you, Adekzy. Your fellow vile humans have been castigating the South East for a long time.
See some of them below:

PureFace1:

This idiot really painted sadeast like everyone is rich there and there are no poor people, it is poor people like you that is stealing the new niger

Besk:

Typically demented comments from a typical child of perdition from the satan-ruled Region of perdition - the SadEast.
May your wailing never end!!! 😂

walefresh3:
u are pain.. alaigbo is a poor zone....
Sadeast remain the poorest and underdeveloped region in the southern part of nigeria... Imagine , no place in the whole alaigbo that has a place like dis..

kestolove95:
Police provide enuf security, Mtn join hand with frsc open road, Tinubu reduce transport fare all this to make SADeast people go home for Christmas but them still dey fear....chai

This sort of hypocrisy, blatant lies and denial of responsibility is what makes Nigeria to be where it is today. Never mind, I blame myself for even engaging with a Hamas-supporting, human being. He posts a diatribe (on a UK Living thread) about a region of Nigeria. Then he comes back to deny. What manner of shamelesness is that?

This guy clearly violated rule number 2 of nairaland. Nairaland should have no place for such bigots.

Yes my job occupation code is on the shortage occupation list and yet, no discount of any sort. I coughed out about £12k today just to beat the new IHS fee. I was wrongly informed that all nhs roles are exempt from IHS. The false assumption was my main motivation for applying to the nhs. I sincerely pity those that will pay the new rate. Imagine a family of 5! I feel like I am being milked. Youkay no wan take it easy on immigrants.

And come to think of it, my former company wanted to pay for my IHS n visa fees (excluding my dependents) but I was enticed by the 5 years NHS CoS and wrong information I failed to verify until it was too late. All the same, I’m grateful to God.

dont worry, so long as you are working in the nhs, you can be clawing back your ihs fees in refunds every 6 months

Most of Nigeria's embezzled funds are sitting mostly in US/UK banks all thanks to their government that enables and makes it easy for Nigerian politicians so export their stolen funds. The majority of stolen Africa's resources are been consumed and received by the Western conglomerates as well.

The UK/US govt are still running investigation on COVID-19 fund mismanagement.

You may have gone back to edit this post after the backlash, but we all saw what the initial post was. You accepted that you are a thief, and decided to muddle it up by using the word 'Everybody' instead of the first first person singular 'I' or 'Me".

Salesforce Admin is a very good route into Salesforce consulting. Lots of organisations are transitioning into Salesforce(even the NHS) so lots of opportunities. If you get good into the salesforce admin role, you can get remote roles. Salesforce Trailhead is a great way to learn salesforce for free regardless of the salesforce path one wants to go into.

Bro Santa2
Please . Are you into Salesforce yourself?
I have really been thinking about it. Are you able to tell me a bit more about Salesforce please?

SOS

Please for a friend
I'm looking for that information on someone that applied for student visa extension successfully due to project delay.

Summary is
Friend's visa will expire Jan 30
Redoing project
Family of 6
University is insisting he doesn't need a visa extension

Please help

Sorry about your FRIEND.
Please, any ideas what may have caused your friend to be asked to rewrite project?

I knew someone back then at Anglia Ruskin who was asked to go and complete the resit in home country since visa was expiring. Your friend’s unique circumstances may help get an exemption. But the school may insist they’re not going to extend nada.

Unless he is planning to leave the UK when his PSW expires, the answer to this question is yes.

The answer can actually be a No.

No, I do not need sponsorship now. And even if I may do in future, I will not need it from you.

Considering the stage of OP’s application, I would select a big NO

All this needless Church bashing on this thread.
Derailing the thread needlessly. But hey ho…
Some of us still remember how certain individuals were banned from this thread previously for taking the class monitor to the cleaners on the TV licence debate that year.
But on the current church bashing matter, since the class monitor is personally invested in the matter, it doesn’t matter. Just keep spamming the and derailing the thread.

Once you mention Church justwise ama pụta ka ofeke.

Smh 😂

I thought I was the only one who noticed.
It’s like there is some voyeuristic orgasm she gets whenever ‘Church’ is mentioned. Even if she’s on Nairaland holiday. As soon as church is mentioned, she will rush to castigate.

What I know - for a fact (and based on my UK experience) and the experience of thousands of others is that we have amazing stories of how God used the Church as a place of comfort for us when we arrived as newbies in this obodo UK.

For every 1 negative experience that some people may have, I dare say there are thousands (nay, millions) of positive experiences. But guess what? A microscopic few, very vocal minority makes it look like the ‘Church’ is a horrible place. Far from it!

Ps: Who else notice that there is this certain individual who is like Justwise’s doppelgänger. Whose moniker starts with the 1st letter of the African country that Priti Patel (and now Suella) wants to send small boat arrivals to. The individual’s moniker ends with the letter of the alphabet that rhymes with eggs. The individual Always, always concurs, seconds or supports any post by Justwise.

Good day my ppl. So I got my pay slip and saw some new stuff (I was away from work for one week due to sickness). Saw osp, ssp and osp contra payment, but they didn't make any difference to the money.
Osp payment + Ssp payment = Osp contra payment
They added osp and ssp then subtracted osp contra, thereby making net difference zero (0), so in other words, no effect on the final payment.
Abeg what does it mean please, I've checked the Internet but still don't get it.
