Kidnappings.

Looting.
Drug dealing in South Africa.

Biafra war.
Spreading hate.
Fake news.
Importing fake drugs.
Smuggling.
These are all what Okoro has done for Nigeria.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has said that God is wonderful. He said that what Nigerians rejected before, they are now begging for it.

The IPOB leader, said that in 1967 they all rejected restructuring (known then as ABURI), Gowon, North and South West came together in a Genocidal war against Biafrans that stood for restructuring.

You know, i actually agree with the assertion in your first paragraph! Problem is, some sections/ethnicities in Nigeria don’t have that same confidence in themselves, and this is why they cling on to ‘one Nigeria’ like their lives depend on it!

Your second paragraph makes no sense because if you posit Nigeria hasn’t gained anything from Ndigbo and Alaigbo (with Alaigbo i’m also including Igboland in the so called south-south) then why did they (Nigeria) fight a uncivil war to continue having the privilege of calling Ndigbo ‘compatriots’.....and why today do they fret, worry and go ape at the mention of IPOB, Mazi Kanu or secession!?

We are not your father, help yourself.
Go back and develop your states instead of asking for help all the time .
Look at Aba,it's a pigsty, the Igbo states are the most underdeveloped in Nigeria.
Instead of building your infrastructure you are busy fighting everybody and begging the South South to join your useless Biafra.
How can Igbos form Biafra when they are landlocked in the middle, stop begging the South South, we will never join you.

Okoro people have low self esteem, they can't fight for themselves, always begging everybody to join them. See,if Yoruba want to fight, they would just fight,if Niger Delta want to fight they will fight on their own,if Hausa want to fight they will fight on their own but Okoro people are cowards, they will try to always join Niger Delta people in their wahala.Useless people.
You always hear Okoro people saying,Calabar people and them are brothers- Who told you that?
NO,WE ARE NOT YOUR BROTHERS,JUST BECAUSE WE SHARE A BOUNDARY DOESN'T MEAN WE ARE RELATED. F- OFF AND LEAVE US ALONE.

Okoro people can't claim Niger Delta, we would finish them, they are just looking for people to join their meaningless struggle because they can't do it alone. Unfortunately for them,we are not interested in there wahala.

Ok, another interesting discovery I made recently about the entity called Nigeria; The Niger Delta Region DOES NOT belong to the ibos. I have always  been under the misconception that it belonged to them, thus, their constant complaints of being wronged, marginalized, and cheated. I also, wrongly, assumed that the militants in The Niger-Delta was made up of  the Ibos. This begs the question, if the Region does not belong to the ibos, why are they hell bent on taking it as theirs?!? Articles I've read since show clearly that the Ibos have the Region in their plans when they finally leave Nigeria. Will they be better 'masters' to the Niger-Deltans (if Nigeria splits) than the Northerners presently are to them? I doubt that any group in Nigeria would want to join a new nation where they will be the clear minority.

The argument that happened this past weekend pitted two Niger-Deltans (one was from Port-Harcourt in Bayelse state, i think. I jotted all this down so if I make any mistakes in spelling forgive me) against 3 ibos (family members) and a yoruba friend who came with the ibos who surprisingly (or maybe not) took sides with the Niger-Deltans (I called them 'deltans' and they took umbrage. They explained that they arent Deltans; I dont remember now their explanation.lol). I dont think the ibo guys will be friends with the yoruba  anymore after this weekend's argument.

Anyways, the ibos insisted that the Niger Delta had no choice but to come with them if a Biafran nation was declared tommorrow; the Niger Deltans vehemently opposed this and stated that they would rather die than go form a nation with majority ibos. The ibos retort was , then die they would because come hail or sleet the Niger Delta wasnt going anywhere but with Biafra. Their statements shocked me!!! How can you force a people, that has fears of discrimination, to come with you??!?! To go do what, go back into the slavery they are running from? The Niger Deltans said they would never go with the ibos but would instead set up their own nation, OR, they would join a nation of other minorities of some states in present day Nigeria. According to them, discussions are already underway for these minority states to form their own nation (advantage being that there wont be a clear majority) independent of all the major tribes in Nigeria in the even of the inevitable split that is bound to soon engulf the nation.

The Yoruba guy insisted that the Niger-Delta had the choice to go 'on its own' if they didnt want to be part of Biafra; of course our Ibo buddies didnt find his statement funny in anyway. Furthermore, he informed us that one of the reasons Ojukwu was quick to go to war was because he had every intention of controlling the oil of the indigenous Niger Deltans. I was shocked (although I think I've heard something to this effect before) because if his claims were true, that means Ojukwe clearly had selfish motives for planning a war against its more powerful Nigerian neighbors.

So, Im asking a simple question, if the Niger Delta does not belong to the Ibos why do they have their eyes on it? Why do they invoke it, always , in their cries for a seperate state? Someone please explain!!!!

Pope Francis has cancelled a planned Mass in Rome with other clergy after suffering a 'slight illness'. There was no word from the Vatican about the nature of his illness, but the pope was seen coughing and blowing his nose during the Ash Wednesday Mass. The previous day he had kissed heads and touched faces as he met with crowds in St Peter's Square, saying he had solidarity with those suffering from coronavirus. Italy is currently in the grips of a coronavirus outbreak that has seen towns in the north placed on lockdown and travellers from the region spread the infection to previously unaffected areas of Europe.

The capital, Rome, had three cases, but all three infected patients were cured, officials said. Coronavirus is believed to have originated in a market selling wildlife in the Chinese city of Wuhan late last year. It causes respiratory symptoms similar to a cold or flu and like other respiratory infections, it spreads between people in droplets from coughs and sneezes.

Eziokwu1:
I have always wondered this question.
Both cities are melting pots. But somehow Lagos has managed to entrench a foundational Yoruba character both linguistically and socially.
In the case of Port Harcourt that can't really be said for the city. I know there is an Ijaw (Okrika) part of the city, but it is quite small, and the greater part of Port Harcourt is basically Ikwerre. The lingua franca for 90% of PH is idgin.
Infact, very soon Oyigbo/Obigbo and Port Harcourt will merge into one. Is this how an Ikwerre-Igbo city is going to ditch it's heritage and become 'identityless'?

A non Lagosian can pick up standard Yoruba on Lagos Island, Ikotun, Agege or Ikorodu in 1 year if they are interested in doing so, but a Nigerian will rarely pick up neither Ikwere nor Igbo after living decades in Port Harcourt? Why?
