after that their demonic new year Illuminati ritual/ initiations they call Communion

First of all. Condolences to the departed Minister. I pray for strength and God's grace for His wife and family at this time.

He, like all of mankind, will stand before the judgement seat of Christ. The Lord guaranteed, and His word shall not return void, that He gave up His life for those who accept God's gift of redemption, and while the new life leads us to strive to live righteously, it is Christ's ultimate sacrifice, indisputably prophesied severally centuries before the act, that will redeem mankind.

You can choose to keep vomiting rubbish about illuminati, or even the lower level deception about God fraudulently switching bodies on the cross. Your words, thoughts and beliefs can only be true, if they align with the truth.

The Church does not have a lot of traditions. You can listen to the entire new testament in a couple of hours https://www.biblegateway.com/. The communion is a tradition proclaiming the Lord's death. It certainly makes the enemies of God uncomfortable, but God created and loves every human being.

Step away from ignorance and high sounding gibberish & embrace the simple truth of God's love.

1st Corinthians 11:23

23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

In as much as there is freedom of expression and worship, what I don't condone is waking people very early in the morning all in the name of morning cry.

If every religion should adopt the Christian's way of propagating their religion, I doubt if Christians will be happy with the development.

Imagine been waked up as early as 4 am with words like: "repent and follow Allah, or you'll go to hell".

The noise and public nuisance are appalling, and I hope you guys learn. You have your religion, I have mine. Let's respect each other's beliefs without wanting to convert the other.

There is no RIGHT religion out there, it's all about FAITH and TOLERANCE!

'Religion is indeed the opium of the masses'

Thank you!

Calls to prayer happen and wake tens of millions up all over Nigeria from 4:30am or 5am every day, even though they are not ready to wake up.

No one ever complains for the sake of tolerance.

There should be freedom of religion and assembly, but it should be defined and structured. Anything over megaphones before 7am is just disturbing other people.

The US authorities allege that Buruji was the drug kingpin. Buruji alleges that it was Adewale. He did not deny there was a Kasamu druglord.

Your tantrums cannot mask the reality of your heart, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (or fingers type, in this case).

He was alleged to be a major drug kingpin, and his best defence was that it was a brother (that nobody seems to know) that looks just like him. He tried using the old Evan vs Evans Enwerem playbook. There is even a major US TV show inspired by the drug baron (I don't know if this was Buruji or Adewale Kashamu)

Well, he has run his race & will give account, as will those who knowingly defend evil and corruption, and those who attack people speaking up against the evil and corruption, and all of us eventually. God is not mocked, you cannot willingly and continually sin & hope for grace to abound.

22 years old captain Stephen Keshi led Green Eagles against Idomitable Lion of Cameron(1984 Afcon final)in Ivory Coast which Nigeria lost 3-1.

Nigeria team was very young with Peter Rufai, Patrick Okala,Raymond Best,Sunday Eboigbe,Ademola Adeshina,Humphrey Edebor,Henry Nwosu,Rasheed Yekini,Yisa Sofoluwe,Chibuzor Ehilegbu,Clement Temile,Stephen Keshi with old warhorse Mudashiru Lawal.

The team find it difficult against very experienced Cameroonian team that was full with players from Espana 82 World Cup.The Cameroonian team did not lose a single match but failed to qualify from group stage in 1982 World Cup.

This was a Cameron team young Green Eagles led by Keshi faced in the final, but I will never forget the semi finals match with young Peter Rufai showed his class but injury kept him out in the final and Patrick Okala was in goal.

The African teams to the 82 World Cup (Cameroon and Algeria) were both among the top 10 or 12 in the world at the time without a doubt.

Not a big fan of Onigbinde, but it was a massive effort to build a new team that was good enough to win the AFCON against these 2 teams.

We held Algeria at the group stage. Egypt actually beat Cameroon in the group stage, & we managed to knock them out on penalties. If Rufai did not get injured in the Semis, we would have probably won the AFCON.

Patrick Okala was a huge step down.

Dele Momodu should also be ashamed of himself for this silly attempt at image laundering. Was he trying to ask serious questions here? He should have just done a cover & centre-spread feature of Obasa in his soceity magazine instead.

Rottis are dominant but loving and protective dogs.

Trying to establish territory and dominance at that age is not unusual, but it must still have a master it respects. You're the one that feeds it everyday & that provision is a symbol of authority right there.

I sense that it may be stressed and not getting enough exercise. Get a leash and take it on a walk at least 3 times a week. The 2nd link I posted suggested not competing for dominance. I disagree. Don't shout the dog down when it is agitated; calm it down instead (perfect time for a doggy treat), but the Rotti must understand who is boss, and that is you.

If they deregulate and it goes to #200/litter when crude rises again, hope u won't complain then...

Remove the subsidy regime, Remove the dual exchange rate system and you plugs a hole that leaks at least $10 billion that disappears each year.

A fair and incorrupt system will regulate itself and local prices will balance out & more importantly, there will be investment in the sector for local refining (beyond Dangote)

This was mostly Sanusi basis for declaring $25 billion (or whatever) missing under Jonathan. Unremitted revenue to the Federation account due to sudsidy and other deductions by NNPC. It continues today, but no one says anything.

Any government that has even the tiniest interest in reducing corruption will introduce these policies. Link access to forex to verifiable payment of taxes by Corporations and individuals in the previous year, & not allow connected people make billions of dollars a year from arbitrage from multiple exchange rates in the name of subsidizing religious pilgrimages & school fees for the children of millionaires.

These things are not difficult but the leadership & Governance structure in Nigeria is showing an incurable addiction to corruption even as the ship is sinking.

These crooks are addicted to stealing, that is why the subsidy mechanism is in place.

Politics / Re: Peter Esele: Oshiomhole's Utterances, Huge Embarrassment To Nigeria, APC by LagosEconomist: 10:01pm On Feb 15, 2020
hisexcellency34:
Former President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Mr Peter Esele, has called for the removal of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) over his poor handling of the party’s affairs.

In a statement on Saturday titled: “APC: Time for Adams Oshiomhole to go,” the former Labour leader blamed the loss of Bayelsa state by the APC on Oshiomhole’s complicity in fielding an ineligible candidate for the state governorship election.

He said that Oshiomhole’s utterances have also become a source of embarrassment for the APC, warning that the ruling party must do all that was necessary to defend the institutions of the state.

While recalling the loss of Zamfara state to the opposition, the Edo state-born Labour activist warned that the APC may also find itself without a governorship candidate in the forthcoming Edo state election because of Oshiomhole’s interference.

Esele maintained that APC had outgrown Oshiomhole’s theatrics, saying that it was time for the party to thank and get rid of him.

The post read: “This is a difficult one to write, but there comes a time when you must make a clear distinction between individual and institutional interests. There comes a time when you must choose sides. This is one of such pivotal moments.

The National Chairman of APC cannot claim ignorance that the Deputy Gubernatorial candidate of the Party in Bayelsa was ineligible to contest the election which led to the Supreme court verdict.

“His utterances about national issues have become a huge source of embarrassment to the party and the country at large. The APC as the governing party must do all it can to defend the institutions of the state no matter the pain or interests. Failure to do so is a recipe for anarchy,” he said.

https://www.independent.ng/oshiomholes-utterances-huge-embarrassment-to-apc-nigeria-peter-esele/

2 sides of the same extremely corrupt so called labour movement.

Lousy individuals who've hardly ever held a full time job, but are experts in the art of corrupt shakedowns. Ranking right after the Executive and legislators in corruption the cornering of the public treasury.

Esele was hoping Oshiomole would annoit him as his successor in Edo based on their deceptive public image as 'fighting the cause of the masses'.

One day the truth will come out & everyone will pay for their sins. They know how much they collected from NNPC & those who benefit from the over $5billion that is stolen annually in the name 'subsidy'.

Where polygamy is rampant, young males are left without sexual partners. Simple math shows that in a population of 10 men and 10 women, if 1 of the men has 4 wives, that leaves 6 single men. Scale that up to entire states, and you can see this playing out across the North.

So wars and destabilization give young men a chance to kill potential rivals (ie, other men) and seize or rape women.

polygamous societies suffer “higher rates of murder, theft, rape, social disruption, kidnapping (especially of females), sexual slavery and prostitution.”

One well-known passage from the Hadith is the reward of 72 virgins given to a martyr after death. This appeals directly to a young man’s sexual desires. Martyrs are not promised a well-paying job, political peace, or economic security. They are promised sexual partners.

This is my opinion.

No comment on your opinion, but your (simple) maths certainly needs work.

From your example, if everyone else is married, that leaves 3 single men. If no one else is married, there are 9 single men, and six single women.

Guys, abeg who can solve this.. In percentage terms, what is the normal amount of shipping insurance that would be purchased on a $200,000 shipment?

Depends on the cargo, shipping method, length/time of shipment etc.

Rate on a car (very low to inconsequential) won't be the same as fragile or perishables for instance.
Air freight insurance may also be lower than ocean shipping insurance due to the shorter time (note that the cost of Air Freight is a lot more).

Insurance should be covered as part of shipping costs anyway.

If additional insurance is needed/demanded by a counterparty, I suggest you contact an underwriter or someone in the insurance industry who will tell you what is normal for the class of goods.

In general 1.5% to 5% of the value can be planned for.

Not so fast with the downer prophecies.

This team is a top 10 top 15 team as at today. The occasion got to some of the young guys (Ike Ireogbu & Jordan especially) against Russia & our tournament was over before it started. They played without fear vs Argentina & grew as the tournament progressed. They will be much better next year.

What can however push this team to a medal is that 3-5 top range key additions are possible.

Jahlil Okafor is one of the most skilled offensive players out there & is primed to have a good NBA season. If we can get him, he will solve all the paint scoring issues from set plays (not just fast breaks) & adds an extra 10 points per game to the team while averaging around 20 points.

Udoka Azubuike can be the best big man in college if healthy. A legit 7 footer and a defensive force. With him, the likes of Scola will be silent against Nigeria. Charles Bassey is another upcoming big man. He & Udoka should be 1st round NBA picks next year.

Ayo Dosunmu could also be a 1st round pick next year. He could have gone pro this year after 1 college season, but decided to stay in school.

OG Anunoby will be huge if we can get him. Adds to the wing play, athleticism & the 3 ball defence.

The team can get better & will be a lot more experienced. Depending on who commits, a run at a medal is possible.

truthsayer009:

As someone who has worked for this Man for some years & moved on, I can say he just playing on the fact that Nigerian labour laws are Non-existent. When he started in 2011, very close to my house. I remember he just came from UK, he paid one of the highest Salary as at 2011 for his staffs. It was one of the Top 10 places to work in Lagos. The early days of the company was so good that he purchased a brand new BlackBerry for every staff as at 2012, Just for working hard.

He discovered down the line that people earned lesser in Nigeria & he was shocked to why the Nigerian laws would allow it. Every one of his Entrepreneur friends were paying their staff meagre salary, so he joined the bandwagon later on & started paying sales people 25k. When he was asked, he says minimum wage is 19,000. So he his doing nothing wrong. At some point he turned everyone to Marketers, even Top Level management. You are to sell 20k vouchers every month else the money would be removed from your Salary, you must wear the official t-shirt 3 times a week etc. Sacked some ladies who couldn't meet up. Top Level Staffs were using their personal cash to pay, same as I.

In this life, if you devalue yourself, how would others value you? Nigerian has devalued their work force, that It takes Guts & spare money in the bank to make yourself of value. As this point, any HR that calls me for interview for a time that doesn't favor me. I'll just tell them I'm not interested, I'm not broke please. Kapish!

That's the right attitude to have. Don't devalue yourself. Everyone in life has options.

I can also tell that you were a junior level staff, with no clue about the big picture. Jason himself was probably young and naive in the early days you were talking about.

It is good to motivate staff, but it must be in the context of contributing to the sustenance & growth of the company. You must be fair, but you cannot be Father Christmas, who just wants to be cool & popular with staff, regardless of their productivity or the success of the business, especially with other people's money.

When reality sets in, you might lose everything, including your health, & the staff will move on to the next thing, maybe even set up their own business.

The early freebies & blackberry days was when Kinnevik money first came it, & it seemed like it was too much money & it would never finish. Iroko has done well, within the constraints of the environment. They are producing a lot of content, & getting the channels on Cable was a brilliant idea.

Now is the time to become self sustaining or even profitable though. The investors will also start asking tough questions before agreeing to another round of funding.

So, you can see how inconsequential some staff who feels entitled to get a big salary without contributing to revenue really is. The civil service is the place for people like that.

For Iroko, they probably need to come to some kind of alliance with Netflix for the production of African content. It will give them a bigger platform, & it will be a cheap way for Netflix to quickly acquire a lot of African titles and further diversify its content. They can even work on joint productions together.

This indirect competition they are in, will only hurt Iroko in the medium & long run.
