Goodmorning house. I just got admitted to study IT ENGINEERING at WEDEL. Meanwhile is an old private uni, with a reasonable tuition fee. The course in question is just started this winter with it's first intake. and the course is still expecting it's full accreditation, of which I have mailed them to know Wats up on that. Now my question is this ,
1) Do I have to pay the full three semester tuition before going to embassy. knowing that my school asked me to pay only one semester fee.
2) will this accreditation thing affect my visa processing.
pleasevguys I need ur advice. mean while am still expecting results from other schools like Bremen, UAS KIEL AND BAMBERG..

Since you already have the experience about the interview questions, i suggest you blend yourself well this time. You just have to give a convincing answer on your purpose of going to study. i think the most important question to them. Once you convince them this time, i believe you won´t have a problem in Jesus name. Amen.

most schools here only give admission once and cannot be differed. the problem was that the foreign office didn't decide on my visa before enrollment deadline in my school. I had to withdraw the visa. my school program was not also having summer intake hence my quick search for other schools where I can have summer admission since winter was too far to wait for

that was a good thing u did for ur self. now please bros I have question. I applied for visa last winter, but I was denied reasons being that "they doubt my serious intention and my purpose of travel, hence further prerequisites have not been recieved for visa approval" that was just the reason in short form. now I decided not to appeal, due to my resumption date was close. am expecting admission for summer. please will this affect my new visa application if I apply with fresh admission letter?. I applied before with a B.sc admission , in applied biology, but now am going for masters in IT engineering related courses cos I studied electrical engineering. please advise me.

Hello Bros, pls wat are the necessary documents or let say the result u use to secure the admission for B.sc, did you use ur SSCE result or SSCE + B.sc or SSCE+ years one result. Since you r a living testimony cos ppl here hardly talk about B.sc.

I used both my SSCE and B.sc during application for admission.

My opinion. Appeal your first refusal.
One of the interview questions is:

Have you ever applied for a visa?
Guess your answer is yes, I was refused

I know of few who appealed and it was granted. Some others appealed, reasons like, it is already too late were given. When some applied the previous year it was granted. Ultimately, some guys, who never appealed were rejected again, and also others who appealed . You previous refusal is an issue, appeal can resolve it.

Again, this is just my opinion

thanks for the prompt reply. meanwhile the reason why I didn't. appeal was that the the date I was denied was 20th and my enrollment deadline was 15th september. so the time left was short for me to go ahead with the appeal. please house am I safe since I opted not to appeal. remember that I was going for a B.sc course then, a course different from my first degree which is engineering. now am applying for admission into masters program. please guys talk to ur brother

In my own opinion, Yes applying through Uni assist has more advantage. There are some uni that is under uni assist while there are many uni that is not under uni assist, those under uni assist have less applicant and that mean less competition and more chances of getting admission while the uni that is not under uni assist have a very high number of application because it is free application and less stress which leads to high competition and less chances of getting admission. When I was applying, once I see a school that is under uni assist I will just close their portal because I don't have time to start spending money where i have not see admission letter, na jump and pass I dey do schools that is under uni assist but if you have the money and time use uni assist it will highly brighten your chances of getting admission letter.

Summer admission letter from December-February lectures start in April while Winter admission letter from March-August lectures start in October.

Please house, does applying tru uni assist has advantage in terms of admission. and wen can one start to expect admission letter for SS16.

please nairalanders, am in a bit tight situation. am applying for summer 2016. please guys, help me with fews schools I can apply to with a BEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with final CGPA of 3.12. and a letter from my HOD stating my language of instruction was English. I also have my jamb slip the I used when I got my admission in Nigeria..the areas I want apply for is infotech, communication,instrumentation, and electrical related courses. please ur help will be highly welcomed.

yes, as prove of English. they gave admission. with it. mind you the course is taught English.

nairalanders, please I want to apply for masters in the area of communication or info tech. my final CGPA is 3.12/5.0, can it secure admission for me??. I have no English test cert.only letter from my HOD stating the mode of instruction in my first degree was English. please help me with some schools best advise. I was denied last month. I dont want to apeal due to my enrollment date 14th September. so I decided to go masters straight. ur advise is highly needed.thanks

@Leocruz Please how long did it take from the date of your interview till when you got your rejection letter because I had my interview last week and wrote a biology test but I am still yet to hear anything from the embassy.

took 9 days for them to reply. I had my interview on 11th August. I saw both FEMI. That day too. the truth is I have given up. I don't want to appeal.instead am searching for m.sc already for summer. please I had a Final CGPA 3.1. hope that can get m.sc for me.

anyway I was actually going for a B.sc (applied biology), a course different from my previous studies Engineering.

am also on the summer 2016. train ooo....may God help us all. was denied this winter but not relenting trying again.
