Stunchlord/Missclassy/Newsheriff/Decker/Hatchett, I always insisted it was you from the very first day even when you tried to fool folks (my pals too) into believing you're M.uva, I stood my ground.

I can always sniff out your e-scent even if you operate Se.un's moniker. You failed to achieve your aim, flirted with girls to rebuild your dignity, floated your perversion in the Religion Section as a modern day atheist but even they who have been led astray rejected you.

Dejected, unfulfilled and fading into obscurity, you launched a last attempt at imprinting yourself on our minds again. This time, you'd always be remembered as a common identity thief who got chased into the shadows even with a mask.

Begone! O ye plunderer of culture and values! Fade into nothingness, o ye pervert!

Brutalised! Eviscerated!! and shellacked!!!

The boy's clearly dying to be noticed. But I think he genuinely has a thing for Mimzy , albeit in a perverted sense. This calls for clinical depression and emotional trauma.

And wearing a mask on an internet forum is taking cowardice to a new height.

When has the police or any security agency ever followed 'due process' in the history of this country?

Or is this the first time you're hearing of the DSS or any other security agency arresting people arbitrarily?

Beside, if the arrest of the judge is sanctioned, there is no such thing as 'normal time' for arrest.
This is supposed to be an era of "Change", remember ?
Culture / Re: 5 Lies Everyone Tells You About Northern Nigeria by lezznjr: 9:46am On Oct 07, 2016
Revolva:

Northern Nigeria has had to grapple with some appalling news report over the years. The region is not aided by the Boko haram insurgency. Consequently, many Nigerians especially in the South, have demonized the region that anyone who wants to travel there will be discouraged.

Although some of these widespread reports are blatant ‘lies’, we recognize the beauty, hospitality, and congeniality of Northerners. Thus, we identify some of these lies or perceptions so as to dispel them. Perhaps, this will reassure or embolden visitors to explore places like Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna and other Northern cities.

They are religious fanatics

Islam is the dominant religion in the North. Hence, their values and beliefs are greatly influenced by the religion. There are many dos and don'ts that are normally overlooked in the south. Some Nigerians see this as fanaticism which is not the case. But, if you can adhere to and respect these cultural and religious beliefs, you will live peacefully among them.
Undeniably true. Reported incidence of killing people who knowingly or unknowingly "abuse" the Koran or Prophet. The partial recognition of Yoruba Muslims, the open, ignorant jubilation of 9/11, etc
Revolva:

They are deprived

The influx of underprivileged Northerners into Lagos, the heartbeat of Nigeria have resulted in the generalization that any individual who hails from the region is deprived. No. There are many of them who are very comfortable and wealthy and have never been to Lagos or Abuja. In fact, the richest man in Nigeria and Africa, Aliko Dangote is from the region!
The Northern region is still behind all regions in Nigeria in virtually all human developmental indexes, from GDP, education, health, exposure, standard of living, equal opportunity for the sexes, etc.
Revolva:

They hate education

Boko Haram means western education or non-Islamic education is a sin. This is what Boko Haram is propagating. However, beyond Boko Haram, Northerners are now embracing education. Not only the education of the male child but also the female child. Even though there should be more enlightenment, parents are sending their wards to school.

Boko haram, which roughly translates into western education is bad, was coined by the group in its early days to whip up sentiment of the average northerner who has an unwelcoming view about the West in a frenzied madness.
Revolva:

They are impeding Nigeria’s development

A number of political commentators have suggested that the north is preventing Nigeria from reaching its potentials. This is actually wrong. In almost every Nigerian region, there are challenges. The government is doing its best to tackle some of these difficulties. It is very unfair to isolate a region and say it is impeding Nigeria’s development.
For years Nigeria was the only country in the globe with polio occurrence because some ignorant northerners rejected polio vaccines and killed health workers and donors who went about giving infants these vaccines. Nigeria has one of the highest illiteracy rate in the world because majority of northers won't send their female children to school. Fiscal federalism is still being objected by northern Senators and their colleague in the lower house. The figures of children out of school from the north is alarmingly high and the federal character principle which encourages equal representation by every region in the country means Nigeria will have to make do with mediocrity when certain positions in the civil service and ministries have to be filled up.
Revolva:

They are hostile

Northerners are arguably the most hospitable in Nigeria. They will offer you shelter and food as well as treat you like one of their own. But what they only want from you is not to desecrate their religion and culture.

There's no other region in Nigeria where the number of tribal bloodbath and religion killings have occurred near as that of the north. From the Southern delegation in 1953 who went to convince the north for independence, they were met with violence and death. The killings still go unabated till this day.

What you lack in knowledge, you more than made up for in self-deception

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/10/ghana-begins-fuel-exports-nigeria-others/

Thanks, bro. I greet the news with mixed feelings; for one, it is a cruel pointer to Nigeria's missed opportunity to dominate the energy sector in the subregion. After the West African Gas Pipe line project which the former President Obasanjo helped Ghana financially construct, and Nigeria supplying Ghana gas through that facility without full payment for years, it is a factor that may undermine Nigeria's influence and dominance geopolitically.

Secondly, On the home front, Nigeria's finished products have always been sold through illegal channels to neighbouring West African states even when we cannot meet local demands.
If Ghana supplies other West African countries, it will undermine a percentage of local smugglers' export which contributes to fuel scarcity here too.

Religion / Re: Does GOD permit a woman to divorce an adulterous husband? by lezznjr: 9:14am On Oct 04, 2016
[s]
Toks2008:
I have heard and seen many cases where a lady quickly divorces her husband because he cheated on her regardless of how apologetic the man becomes and the woman will be so quick to point to the scriptures as a viable reference to buttress her actions but then i kept wondering if this is really the case. Did GOD permit the wife to divorce the husband on the ground of adultery?

This write up does not encourage adultery in any form but it is about pointing out the erroneous belief as regards the issue in relation to the scriptures.Every man must love and be faithful to his wife.I expect insightful contributions to counter my opinion on this matter without any form of sarcasm, attacks on my persona or use of vulgar words.

In Islam there are laid down guidelines to follow if a wife has good evidence that her husbands committed adultery(Please refer to Fataawa 89039 and 85031).

Nevertheless in the Bible, the fact that your husband commits adultery is never a ground for you to divorce him

The bible is generally believed not to be gender specific and when "he" is used it automatically refers to both genders and I quite agree with this postulation. But when it comes to passages that refer to marriage there are specific messages to the husband and to the wife and when Jesus addressed the issue, he was very gender specific and this does not address the woman...

Now let's have a comprehensively look at the passage in the Bible that addressed this issue.

Matthew 19:5-9

" Why then," they asked Him, "did Moses command us to give divorce papers and to send her away?"He told them, "Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because of the hardness of your hearts. But it was not like that from the beginning. And I tell you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery."

This Bible passages clearly makes us understand that divorcing a spouse based on adultery is an instruction for the husband and not for the wife.Nevertheless the only reason a wife can divorce her husband is when the husband outrightly abandons the marriage and leaves the wife without any scriptural reason as stated in the book of 1 Corinthians chp 7:15

I Hope this makes sense.

[/s]

Another mediocre, ill-thought out submission.

You often dabble into deep waters you aren't skilled enough to navigate.

The Bible isn't gender specific on divorce. Jesus' disciples were males and they asked if a "Man" could divorce his wife and Jesus gave a streamlined answer.

The Bible permits divorce on the grounds of adultery for both sexes ( see the works of St. Paul). What is prohibited is Remarriage which has become opened to denominational interpretations anyway.
