I do python and I focused on python during the last application process, flunked anyways. I'm reapplying but with the new info as regard Javascript wouldn't it be advisable to just stick with Javascript?

Please guys I don't Mean to cause any arguments. I just really want to know if andela is a great place to work. Because I have been reading reviews all day on Andela on glassdoor and am afraid to say most have only bad things to say. Please I was just invited for interview and I will coming from delta and I don't know anyone in Lagos so I would be spending money on transportation and hotel. I really want to be sure of where am headed before committing to it Any comments to alleviate my fear would be appreciated

I did the test twice, the first time I didn't make the cut, so this time around I read the guide that was given to us very well and I make sure I answered ALL the questions multiple choice questions correctly. That was the only thing I did differently. My guess is that most people focused more on the programming aspect only like I did the first time. I think andela is using both to score us.

Please can you provide more info about the interview. I just wanna make it to the overhyped boot camp.

em... It is estimated that 4hrs 58mins (or thereabout) would be enough for the test on average, although if you are very good at writing code, I estimate a little more than an hour.

No, you don't have to complete the whole assessment at a sitting. However, if you start a challenge that is a quiz section, you'd have to finish it before you leave.

I have no idea how much importance is attached to timing. But the fact that it is timed says alot.

NB: When leaving at any time before the test is completed, ensure you log out. From observation, that's the only way the timer would stop. If you simply close your browser window, it would continue counting.
