U need to reset ur brain meanwhile if anyone need to mention politicians who re rich wike no follow, Atiku spend on dollar while wike is spending river state fund nd u think wike is spending his personal money. Mind u Atiku is a business man nd billionaire himself u can count on him ever think his left power since 2007 Atiku had been funding other political parties including his former party APC. Learn to study b4 u regret in public
That guy might be right. Atiku is known for selling off national assets. His visit might be for a pre-concession talk. Politicians are looking for money, anyhow.
2ru9jaman: During the reign of H E Peter Obi as Anambra state Governor, he was able to stabilise the state and save fund for the next administrator.
Twice move was made to impeach him but he escaped through court judgements all based on not following due procedure in taking govt fund into his private business, bank and brewery.
In fact there was a thread full of complaints from citizens of Anambra on poor governance of Obi. It is quite worrisome that same people that complained bitterly then are promoting him to be the next president of the country they once labelled ZOO.
Here is the thread on Nairaland, had it been Seun Oshewa is corruptible, he would have made big money to delete it from archive.
Fernandeswagger: Atiku Abubarkar in Akwa Ibom State: Moral and political questions
By ETIM ETIM
The visit of Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar to Akwa Ibom State for the flag-off of his presidential campaign today (October 10, 2022) raises a number of moral and political questions that Akwa Ibom people should consider keenly.
First, the moral issues:
1. Atiku was the VP to President Obasanjo and we recall that President Obasanjo and Atiku Abubarkar adamantly opposed the payment of 13% derivation to Akwa Ibom State. Obasanjo, in the presence of Atiku, said, ‘’Akwa Ibom must beg; Akwa Ibom will suffer’’, but Atiku did not help. He was complicit in Obasanjo’s cruelty to our people. I invite the reader to read my book on the roles played by some eminent sons of the state in the fight to stop Obasanjo’s cruelty. Atiku did not do anything to help Akwa Ibom in those very difficult moments.
2. As VP, Atiku was the Chairman of National Council on Privatization, the position on which he presided over the privatization programme of the government. The privatization of ALSCON, the aluminum smelter company in Ikot Abasi, was so messy that it led to the death of that thriving company, and many Akwa Ibom people lost their jobs.
Is it morally right for Akwa Ibom people to support Atiku?
The political question
Atiku is a Fulani Muslim from Adamawa. Is it appropriate in a pluralistic democracy for him to aspire to succeed Buhari, another Fulani Muslim from Katsina? The Fulani are just about 8 million people in the country. How fair is that?
Akwa Ibom people must ponder these questions as they go to the stadium today.
All politics is local, and all politics must take care of your interest.
You cannot be part of a political process that is antithetical to your group interest.
I may not agree with you blaming Atiku for Obasanjo's actions; but the truth remains that IT IS UNFAIR FOR ATIKU TO SUCCEED BUHARI, that will be one tribe ruling for 16 years. Very unfair.
Ceenaija: Reno is in exile today because of his lack of wisdom. Others did campaign against Buhari and Osibanjo but non is on self exile. Instead of campaign based on issues Reno discusses religion, ethnicity, individual. and he thought that he is the smartest.
He should find time to listen to Kenneth Okonkwo's interviews which has gone viral.kenneth sounds convincing on his issue base discussion. He never talk down on Yorubas or Hausas or Igbos or any tribe but intelligently he was hitting the nail on the head in convincing Nigerians with fact and good reasons why they should vote for Peter Obi.
Reno is one of the reasons why many people will not vote for Atiku. He is creating enemies for Atiku instead of making friends. By the look of things his self imposed exile will continue for many many more years come.
Nduemma12: All these twitts just because of peanut from BAT
Reno that speaks from both sides of his mouth. I stopped following him long ago
But wait, what moral rights does reno have to dig up past comments on obi, while his today's reality is the opposite of his yesterday's sermons. Bunch of sycophants playing politics of the stomach
Exactly what we are saying, the west will never poke nose into the affairs of any governor in the east, they themself judged him and rated him bad in his days as governor. You cant then now turn a 360 degree to your judgement which we all know is super accurate and then tell us otherwise because of ethnicity. Obi is a colossal failure and he should not be contesting for presidency at this trying period of our nation.
Yes, Igbo people call out their own anytime, any day; just as they are calling out Soludo and Hope currently; they don't play tribal politics.
If you can remove tribalism and check people's comments on obi, when his tenure ended, they really applauded him.
Check his ANIDS projects, clean and transparent. Just search ANIDS projects on Google
Lo.. Unknown gunmen trainee. Stop covering ur pains wth emoji... As e dey pain u, e dey sweet mi
I created the thread.. Did u see any insult?
We reject Peter Obituary
Pained, no way. You know what; I forewarned people against Buhari, having studied his past administration. Ironically, those that voted him are suffering it, while I gained all through.
Anambra people suffered bcoz they choose obi... Which is why most of them are deserting the state to south west.. After all, Peter obi deserted anambra after ruling...
Nigerians can't let pitobi win... He will destroy us dt even Mozambique will be better than us
Peter obi, the owner of u unknown gunmen in conjunction wth Nnamdi kanu is a serial failure.. Bro..
Truth hurts
Truth hurts, but false accusation hurts more!
Igbos are not only in Lagos, they are everywhere in the world. It is not peculiar to Lagos and it didn't start today, even before the development of Lagos, before Tinubu.
Go to Borno today, you will see an Igbo man doing business, they thrive everywhere.
The kind of negative campaign launched against obi on this forum is alarming.
They create a negative topic, it gets pushed to the front page and all of their syndicates will start making noise and supporting each other.
A bunch of blind, tribal sycophants. At times I even wish the election comes and goes, let this their candidate win, let me see who will suffer it. Nonsense
AcuraZDX: For those digging on Peter Obi, you would soon find maybe crude oil o. Peter Obi is a man of peace.
What would have been a bloody clash between supporters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and the Labour Party on Thursday at Nkwo Triangle Nnewi was averted by Governor Peter Obi.
In a last minute effort to reach their supporters, Governor Obi and Chief Victor Umeh led APGA campaign that traversed most of the markets in Nkpor, Onitsha and Nnewi.
Some of the markets visited are the Old Mercedes Parts, Nkpor; New Tyre, New parts all in Nkpor as well as Nkpor Main Market.
Others are Ogboefere, Plastics, Relief, Shoes at Onitsa and Ngbuka at Obosi.
From there, they moved to Machine Spare Parts, Nnewi, Motor Parts and Articles all in Nnewi.
Trouble started when Obi’s campaign train headed to Nkwo Triangle in Nnewi for a final rally.
Approaching there, it was discovered that Ifeanyi Ubah and his Labour Party supporters were campaigning at an arena close to the venue booked by APGA.
However, it was gathered that Obi tactically stayed away with his people, until Ifeanyi Ubah and his Labour Party supporters left the arena.
After APGA members got the information that Ubah had left, they moved to Nkwo Triangle for their rally.
At the rally ground, both Governor Peter Obi and Chief Victor Umeh thanked the people of Anambra State for their steadfastness with APGA and expressed confidence that APGA would win the gubernatorial election.
DenreleDave: Gof bless the then truthful igbos and anambrans

SATANICALLY666: Lawyers on Twitter have lambasted fellow lawyer and staunch supporter of Peter Obi, Odogwu esq (its_emyce), for promoting a candidate he once described as the worst governor in Nigeria 10 years ago.
According to Odogwu, "I support"@TWEETORACLE: WORST GOVERNOR: WINNER: PETER OBl of ANAMBRA STATE : CONTENDERS: Peter obi, Peter Obi , Peter Obi #AURACOOLAWARD"
Reacting, one of the lawyers, Fowosere Esq, said, "@its_emyce what changed, how then this "worst" Governor suddenly become the messiah we have been expecting, intentional amnesia or what?? "
Another lawyer, @Egi_nupe_ wrote, "Bros you said this 10years ago o. What changed?"
More reactions below...
All I see here is campaign of calumny
Why are you guys playing tribal politics. All those negative comments are from one tribe.
So OP, all you could bring up to discredit obi is an inconsequential comment.
Just by typing Tinubu on Google, do you know how many unprintable comments that will come up.
Offpointng: Peter Obi permutations wasn't smart at all...If Peter obi had intentions of winning, he ought to have call along Osinbajo to LP and allow Osinbajo be the presidential candidate while he become the vice. and when Osinbajo is done with two terms, Obi can then now contest and by then, nobody would have the popularity to contest with him
I don't understand your point honestly. Like do u expect them to post the names of ppl that got the job publicly? The only organisations that I know that does that are the forces (police and the armed forces) or have u seen any other organisation that does that? Yes there will be people that will get the job because they knw ppl (as expected of a govt organization even in private organizations too) but people will also get it on merit. The one person I knw that got the GT role has a strong BSc and a very strong foreign MSc and also internship experiences with two different IOCs, and also has a very high score in both tests we did. Let's even assume the person got it through "connect", abeg shey the person no merit am? The thing is, it's not everyone that will get the job, the spaces available are limited. Even if they recruit a thousand GTs like NNPC, it won't still go round. So just accept it like that and move on, atleast we av closure now that the whole thing has been concluded.
You did understand my point but chose to negate. That you even support this is unbelievable; like, how did we get here?
The job advert was on national dailies, everyother process was open, when it got to APL, it turned a secret. Come on, who is deceiving who? What's the secrecy for?
You mean those that have painfully participated in this recruitment do not deserve to at least know that APL is out? No mail, nothing. To even resort to phone calls is ridiculous.
If it is true that they are secretly contacting "successful applicants", then it is unfortunate. Very very unfortunate. I also applied for this job, and uploaded my docs too. I would have been sorrowful too if I didn't get a good job afterwards.
How I wish applicants will seek justice via social media. This does not depict the new Nigeria we all desire. Unfortunately, the applicants are not many.
Customs recruitment took long too (2019 to 2021) and ended successfully with majority if not all on merit. The customs boss stood for transparency.
Kind advice: Keep hopes alive, but for your mental health, look other way
The Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State has recieved the Judgement of the supreme court and is hopeful this puts to an end the ugliest episodes of our colourful existence.
As members of the same political party let us now direct our energy towards facing our common opponent with the aim of winning the forth coming General Elections. There has to be an end to litigation
It is unfortunate and regrettable that we had to resolve our disagreement by going to court and as far as the Supreme Court.
Now that the Supreme Court has reached this decision, its time to sheath our swords.
As members of the same political Party, it is now important that we unite and work towards achieving victory.
I will immediately inaugurate a 7 man committee to help in the healing and integration process.
The Leader of the Party and Governor of the State, H.E. Godwin Obaseki from the onset, pre-primaries and throughout the legal journey maintained and insisted that whoever emerges as PDP candidates were his candidates. The Supreme Court judgement today has put to rest who the PDP candidates are. The list uploaded by the NWC into the INEC server contains the authentic candidates of the PDP in the forthcoming General Elections.
Those that were not favoured by the court decision should be rest assured as HE, Godwin Obaseki is ready to work with every one as one big PDP family.
We should exhibit the attitude of no victor nor vanquished.

That is the transforming innovation you get, when you bring young briliant minds on board
Former minister of aviation and chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode has once again called out the Labour Candidate, Peter Obi for making an anti-Muslim comment while addressing congregants in the church.
The angry Fani-Kayode took to his official Facebook page to call better Obi an “insensitive, wicked and irresponsible” presidential candidate.
However, Fani-Kayode perceived the comment as being a low-standard comment stating that Obi’s comment was a sign of desperation
CAMPAIGN OF CALUMNY.
IF HE SPEAKS FOR THE NORTH, THAT THEY HAVE NO GOOD ROADS AND THEREFORE NEED A BETTER ONE. They will say he is insulting the North.
IF HE TELLS CHRISTIANS THAT THE STRIKING STUDENTS ARE THEIR CHILDREN too; THEY WILL SAY HE IS ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT CHRISTIANS
All parties, I mean all, are hell bent on misrepresenting his comments. When all Ev!L men unite, they are up against a just person.
femianski: This is a throwback Facebook post about strike during peter Obi's regime as the governor of Anambra State. (September 16, 2011). Is this the same man people believe could be the so called Messiah?
RUBBISH Campaign of calumny.
You would have gone as far back as THE DAY HE WAS BORN, IN SEARCH OF DEROGATORY POSTS.
NONSENSE AND INGREDIENTS. ================================== THE FACT REMAINS, AS AT WHEN HE LEFT OFFICE, HE WAS OWING NOBODY.
