So guys, a lot has quite happened ever since.
Teddy has moved with me to his permanent home here in akure. The journey was quite smooth since it’s a private vehicle and the AC was running throughout.

We spent about 5-6hrs on the journey (Warri to akure) and had just one bathroom break. I didn’t feed him the previous night so that made it easy for me and Him. Also while on the journey he made some whining sound and I new he needed a bathroom break.

The blood stain is no longer in his poo, but his polos yet to be solid. It’s more of a marshy or pasty waste sometimes mixed with solid waste.

Thanks, hopefully things work out well. I’m more focused on getting him to eat the diamond puppy dry food now. A friend that owns a cauc said I shouldn’t soak the food, rather mix it with can food in its Dry form.

What a beautiful dog you have, occasionally allowing him inside your house will not be a bad idea, however your purpose of getting him will determine the frequency, Caucasian Shepherds are Giant breed of dogs, and are not fit for indoor lifestyle, but it is not impossible

Thank you, Teddy is more of a pet but I have plans to breed him in the future, especially if he turns out really good.

Also, I noticed teddy is not eating much since it came from the vet clinic. I also need him to start eating dry food, I bought diamond puppy food but he is not eating much of it, I had to mix it with pedigree can food but he just ate a little and left the rest. This has been going on for some days now, any suggestions on what to do?

So Guys, I took teddy for his second shot of the Dhlpp Vaccine yesterday, the vet gave two shots of the Provac vaccine. One thing I am confused about is whether the dog took the shot because he did not whine or cry, he did not even flinch. the vet also gave a shot of a dewormer and said I will follow up with a series of drugs he gave me.

Teddy is a lovely boy, I suggest you shouldn't let him sleep in the house until he's potty trained.
In my opinion, I think he should start getting used to being an outside dog, if he gets too comfortable inside...in the next 7months it'll be a big challenge

Thanks, he has gotten used to it already. He whined a little but later adjusted. During the day, he’s with me at home, at night, he’ll sleep outside.

You can allow him sleep in the house, but since he’s still a pup, he’s definitely gonna poo or pee, if he needs to, except if you keep an eye on him for signs that he’s pressed!!! Meanwhile my German shepherd has lived all her life in the house, she only messed up my house few times when she was a pup. As at now she can never do that again, except for the furs being everywhere in the house..

Hello guys, so yesterday was quite a debate in my house, my family wanted me to let the dog sleep inside but I was adamant to that suggestion, reason being that, he might mess up the house.
Well, he spent the night at a little flower house and he whined all night.

I plan on letting him sleep inside tonight but I’d love to here other’s opinion.

He had his first bath today and so far so good, he’s doing well here.

prior to his arrival, I have gotten some food and pet accessories for him, I bought pedigree can food, a feeding bowl, a collar, dog leash, brush, shampoo, and cod liver oil.
I would have gotten royal Canin giant puppy food, but the stress of taking Teddy and a 15kg dog food on a journey back to Akure will not work for me. (suggestion needed tho)

For now, he is calm and getting to know his surrounding, I just love every second spent with this dog

Teddy's journey was quite a hectic one, he spent over 24hrs on transit from Jos to Warri, The driver called that his vehicle broke down on the road and he worried about the condition of the dog.

hehe naso I call dr Segun for night and he told me nothing is going to happen to the pup, the driver should just give him water and he is going to be alright.

Since when I was a kid I have always loved and admired dogs, I had some local dogs when growing up but couldn't take good care of them cause I was very young and I was the only one who liked dogs in the family.
