You must have at least £1,270 in your bank account to show you can support yourself in the UK.
You will need to have had the money available for at least 28 days in a row. Day 28 must be within 31 days of applying for this visa.

If your employer can support you instead
Your certificate of sponsorship must confirm this. Your employer will need to complete the ‘sponsor certifies maintenance’ section on your certificate. This is under ‘Additional data’.
Your partner and children must have a certain amount of money available to support themselves while they’re in the UK.

You - or your partner or child - will need:
£285 for your partner
£315 for one child
£200 for each additional child
Example
You - or your partner or child - would need to have £600 to bring your partner and one child with you to the UK (£285 for your partner and £315 for your child).

You would also need to have £1,270 available to support yourself for your own application.
Family of husband, wife and two children will need funds amounting to 1270 + 285 + 315 + 200
Other docs include english certificate, COS, TB test for each person, marriage certificate, wedding photos wtc to prove marriage is genuine and subsisting, birth certificate for each dependent child, consent letter for each dependent child signed by both parents.

This I believe is dependent on your visa type. For tier 2 visa, there's a section in your offer letter that says that, your employer will pay if you can't. This only show that your salary is capable of caring for your dependents for the duration they're staying. In which case, you only need to show bank statement for 3 to 6 months showing constant inflows and current balance if you have it, otherwise attached your offer letter. You need to only worry about the subsistence as the health surcharge should have been covered when you're applying for your visa.

For other categories of visa, (which I'll think student visa and visitor), the suggested cost of living is £680 per month for each dependant.

This is based on my experience bringing in my dependents and MIL in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

You can't pay IHS without submitting your application online and you can't submit your application online without your CAS.
Under the current PBS rules, CAS is usually available 3 months before course start date and because your course start date is in Jan, your CAS might not be available until Oct (3 months before course start date) after the new IHS is implemented.

I got a conditional offer from Teesside University. I also got a mail from them asking me to apply for VC scholarship which is £5000.
Is the general scholarship for Nigerians different from this and automatically awarded to all applicants. I don't understand. I will appreciate any idea.

I suggest you write the school requesting for change of course, if they offer the course you wish to change to. It's much easier since they already have your documents and credentials. Also with your experience and professional qualification, I strongly recommend you go for MSc. Accounting as earlier advised by @hosey. You stand a better chance

Why not do MSc Finance or even MSc Accounting. Since you are Chartered, you will definitely get employed before the expiration of your PSW after your studies. Go for a one year program as you will be given PSW.
You already have experience so placement wont give you an added advantage of 2 years.

Dont do the course as it does not tailors your competences at all. It does not correlate and you might find it hard to get employed.
