May God bless you.

The point you highlighted here is the very question Robin Horton raised when trashing similar moronic suggestions --- that is, why should all the kingdoms around the West Africa forest want to insist to have their crowns descended from Ife.

I personally grew up to hear this around of how kingdoms pride themselves saying: "That our crown was despatched from and sanctioned by Ife."
from otun ekiti to akure to ilesha to emure ekiti to ijebu-ode to Benin republic ajase , ketu and infagni all pride themselves descendant of oodua. Now some dumbass is trying to tell us bullshit here. From Nigeria to Benin to Togo ife and oduduwa is always acknowledged even Ghana.

Whatever political play affects nigeria affect the other yorubas over those areas......

They were influenced to adopt the Oduduwa canopy
shut up there and stop ur rubbish. They know their own history not u. Oduduwa is nothing political except maybe ur oba who u claimed sold ur people. Oduduwa name is known all over yoruba land. Even the ugbo king who is not from oduduwa descendants acknowledge him albeit in a different manner to other Yoruba kings.

why are u Benin boys here dumb like this. According to the source from the scholar u provided. It only validates my point of having to be descendants of oduduwa to validate ur kingship. What ur source said is that some of the kings might have lied to validate their kingship cuz origin to ife and oduduwa was necessary to become king and validate their rule.

I know u can’t understand French so u probably don’t know what the prof is talking about. But here is a screenshot in the video. Oduduwa is known from Benin to Togo and it has nothing to do with any fake naija politics it’s just the truth.

The truth is ife was a political party for all yorubas after the creation of nigeria the former was oyo but after the creation of nigeria and the fell of oyo no yoruba could trust oyo again and the new rising centre was ife the centre of Oduduwa, yorubas accepted ife and oduduwa because ooni allowed everyone to write thier ancestory directly from Oduduwa which favoured most yoruba monarch
Oba eweka out of minority complex joined in and declared his stool yoruba too but Yoruba myth bit too far into the benins history and the refuted the ife-benin claims

Again be sincere with me,

Is the owa stool of benin monarchy

Be sincere with your response am not a propagandists
my friend shut up. Long before Nigeria majority king in Yoruba land except the ugbo king have always traced their origin to oduduwa. That’s how they ascertain their legitimacy to be king. From Nigeria to Benin republic and Togo oduduwa is known.

This is what we were meant to believe but indeed it was all made up stunt, to elevate the yorubas history ,

Oduduwa also happened to have not also existed but initially worship as a god
The yorubas had brought the myth of his existence into life in other to unite the yoruba into one political canopy......

yorubas accepted the fact they paid tribute to the oba of benin but disagreed to the fact they paid tribute to oyo for political acknowledgement was false

MinorityOpinion:

First of all I provided a Cambridge printout with reference suggesting the use or horses by the Yoruba armies and you call it hearsay. The British met horses in 18 century in Yoruba land (I love reading past events so there is nothing you can use to trick me)

I know you were angry when I said Benins had never seen a horse before oramiyan came to them. Don't get it twisted. You were not around to say it weren't so and you have no facts or proof to counter it. So you result to wild chase. Very pathetic of you sir.

Fulani invaded oyo in the early 1800. Read about how all horses were stationed at ilorin when the attack happened. What weakened the oyo was palace coup, and limitating power of the army.

Again you said fulani write their own history, so that one is not hearsay but a documented article with references written in a year when you were not born is hearsay. I would not bother to answer you again. angry

This another evidence with reference. Don't bother me again.

The Slave Ship Manuelita and the Story of a Yoruba Community, 1833-1834

Search at the bolded and deny it.

u didn’t even need to reply him. Even archibald dalzel who was in Dahomey wrote how oyo Calvary rode into Dahomey and defeated them forcing them to pay tributaries. When Hugh clapperton visited oyo-ile he said he noticed shortage of horse despite oyo being known for their Calvary cuz the Calvary was stationed in Ilorin. The key word here is “shortage” which means there were still horses just not a lot.

Yes ooo my yorugbanti broda from another mother - ko di dafun gbogbo awon Igbo.
We should have exterminated all of them in that war, especially in consideration for what they did to us in Ore, Okitipupa and parts of Ondo where they raped lots of our beautiful sisters and mothers, and killed quite a lot of people.
Those bastard Yeebos wasted lots of our boys in that botched River Niger crossing, our Aboki masters under Murtala gave the command from the rear, and sent us to our deaths in thousands.
Baba wa Awolowo (may his soul RIP, sad he took sniper and ended his life the way he did) should have done more in starving those Yeebos to death... he was too merciful Olorun Oba.
After the war, we "accommodated" the ungrateful Yeebos back into our fold, gave them their abandoned properties back and a new lease of life... afterall we are known to be suffersticated oops... I meant sophisticated accommodators right? but how did those Yeebos return the favor back? they turned round to spite us. They bought up large swaths of our properties and market economies... today awon eleribu Yeebos have now colonized large real estates all over Lagos.
My father even sold his bungalow that he built with his shares investment and savings to one werey omo Igbo, now all the tenants in that house are paying rent to that flat headed "Shukwudi" on our own land ooo for that matter! rara ooo, we must kill them all angry
They sleep with our young girls who patronize their businesses all over Alaba, Ladipo, Computer village, FESTAC etc I lost my big nyansh girl friend Ronke to one Igbo boy like that, can you imagine?
We are now fighting each other over ordinary "buredi agege" and sachets of garri... Just like our elders sold Abiola to the Gambari. Yoruba ronu oooo! we need to unite and kill all these Yeebos, we see them in our sleeps. They hunt us anywhere we go. We can't even eat our Ikokore in peace, one Igbo flat head must appear in our soup sef, ha oti o! enough is enough
I agree that a good Igbo is a dead one, but currently even their dead have more value than our living. So what does that make us? imagine people who lost millions of lives and properties and were reduced to ground zero after the war, now dominating us in almost all charts of achievements? Imagine if we went through 1/10th of what they experienced, would we have rebounded as well as they did?
Egbon we need to soul-search ooo!
Fulani are "KWARAnizing" us all over Yorubaland, while Yeebos are selling our father's houses and using it to grow Akpu farms. Enough is enough!
long time tobrasky my guy. We don miss u for here. Wetin happen now.

Which Ogun again bro
Ogun state is the industrial capital of Nigeria. If u want to know industrialization come to Sango ota. Abeokuta is an ever growing city. After Lagos na Ogun. Ogun is better than all ur south east state. Only ur anambra come anywhere close.
