30 year old Wakili Ayuba, husband to  Margaret Wakili, a 27 year old pregnant woman we reported on 15th July, 2019 to have been killed by herdsmen was yesterday 12th October, 2019 ambushed and killed by people suspected to be herdsmen.

According to report, late Wakili visited his mother at Hukke to check on his 3 children whom he took to live with her after the death of their mother but on his way back to Ancha, Plateau State,he met his untimely death as he was ambushed and killed around 6:40pm by herdsmen.

According to John, the Youth Leader of Ancha,at around 6pm, they heard gunshot sounds and as they rushed out, they met Wakili macheted in the pool of his blood and rushed him to the hospital where he eventually died.

Wakili left behind his orphaned children namely: Ayuba Wakili, 8 years, Rikwe Wakili, 5 years and Wiki Wakili, 3 years old whom at the moment were said to have been out of school.

Wakili was buried today, Sunday 13th October, 2019 at Anglican Church Miango by 10:00am

May his soul rest in peace.Amen!

This is really disappointing to see on the front page of nairaland when there is really no information to support the news. No credible sources, no quotes. The only source seems to be an attention seeking blog that has only like 3 sentences and pictures (that can be gotten from anywhere online) as proof. People need to really understand the kind of damage unverified stories like these can bring. Shame on Nairaland and their Moderators. This is just sad and pathetic, and no, i am not Fulani!

I was around there when it happened. Every one ran away not really knowing where the bullets came from. Nigeria is Upside Down, it's just a matter of time before the so called south & FCT start experiencing same issues. We all need to stand up against our common enemy. This enemy is not the Muslims, Christians, south or north, not even the so called 'fulani herdsmen';the enemy through all the years has remained the same, albeit masking itself under different names or even under different political platforms. This common enemy, ladies & gentlemen, lo and behold has always been the Nigerian Government. We need the kind of revolution that started in Tunisia by Mohammed Boazizi that triggered the Arab uprising.
We cannot continue recycling same people in power and expect different or better results! If it's not a former military this, then it's a former governor that has to be the next senator. SMH!

LoL! I've been in Benue too and I learnt a lot while I was there. I served there. Mind you, this election is the worst ever conducted in the history of this country due to mass irregularities and rigging. SE and SS were rigged massively for PDP while SW, NE, NW were rigged massively for APC.

The card reader is nothing but a fluke and waste of resources because it didn't do poo. If the stupid card reader was to verify voters you already have their data on you INEC book at every polling unit, then its a waste.

When the notion of card reader was talked about, I thought it will make voting in Nigeria a more versatile process. Like, register in Kano and by means of card reader verification, vote in Lagos but heck no, it only confirms same polling unit voters.

This election is a big disappointment and I still maintain my stands that Sus was voted by his people.

Sus-WORM is one of the worst governors ever in Nigeria. To think of the fact that he was voted in for second tenure says a lot about how tribalistic people can get. I won't blame him tho, I blame people that voted for him to complete 8 useless years in office. If Nigerians like let them base their votes on sentiments, they will always regret it at last.

I seriously beg to differ as I was in benue during the last elections and can tell you that he was not voted rather, the system in place right now from INEC just makes it harder to rig. if not, it might have been the same.
