In that case submit the photocopy affidavit please. Never you submit your original documents permanently to anyone. It is never done anywhere.

Sir we were told to submit our WAEC photocopy together with the law school forms to our dean who would then send it to law school. Pls after submitting the original affidavit, when would law school return it to me?

I have attended several interviews and no one asked for my waec certificate, all I tendered was my LLb and BL. It is only banks that majorly ask for waec certificate and this is to check whether you have maths and English in a single sitting.

I had the same problem. Don't be surprised it will hardly be noticed because the rest of the date are correct.
The only time I was confronted about it when I went for one interview, I told them the person that typed and submitted our details to WAEC may have made the mistake.
It would be a serious redflag if the year or months are different but the day, some dont pay attention to it.

Apart from my waec and statement of result, no certificate of mine bears any date of birth.

I have the same issue and I'm now a lawyer.

I'd advise you use the date of birth on your jamb result for your law school registration.

You can then swear to an affidavit to effect the correction on your waec certificate.

Law school really don't give a Bleep about your waec certificate. It is assume there is no irregularity in it hence your acceptance into the university.

Source for money and fix your date of birth on your National ID card. Reason being that most Government institution now need your NIN for processing applications.

I am a law student who just graduated from the university, I will be going to law school on October, the problem I have right now is that the date of birth I used in my Jamb registration, 6 files in the university and NIMC is 10th- January- 1995. I collected my WAEC result yesterday and I saw 1st- January 1995 written on it. I heard that my WAEC date of birth can't be changed. I want to register for Law school and I intend using my WAEC date of birth to fill in the gap.. Pls I also want to know if the JAMB date of birth will reflect in my university statement of result (I don't it to pls). Also we were told to bring either Driver's licence, Voter's card or National ID for law school, the problem is that I have an ID card that has my JAMB date of birth and I can't use it because I now want to change the date to use my WAEC date, pls can I get a Voter's card bearing different date of birth from my national ID, pls help me I'm confused.
