I was in Edmonton two days ago. Let's just say the drive from Lloydminster to Edmonton was terrible. I wished I had a flying car. lol.

Lol@ flying car.

In the news recently someone abandoned his/her car by the highway. It was towed after a week when no one claimed ownership. It was all covered in snow, someone was nice enough as to put a cone on its roof.

So cos of confusion yesterday, I found myself in Fort Saskatchewan (the story get as e be) I live at Edmonton

If only my Oga knew that his wife don turn indigene for Canada, he go dey respect me wella, lol.

Fort Saskatchewan is quite small and village looking. Looked like an industrialized area. So those not sure of where to go and like small towns, Fort is for u smiley

When I realized I was a long way from home, fear come dey catch me and I started imagining all sorts, like police pulling me over and arresting me for not having an ID (forgot my wallet at home) I imagined the vehicle breaking down on the highway with no help and me and my pikin will be stranded then Oga will finally catch me that I no Dey house, lol.

I wonder what town I’d find myself “mistakenly” soon.

Worried and curious! Please for how long can one delay sending one’s passport upon PPR request to ACCRA? Has anyone successfully done this before with good reason?

Also is it possible to send one’s passport from another country due to travel(I.e. America) whilst other family members send theirs from Nigeria?

Please advice and share experiences accordingly . Thanks

Just send a mail to cic, they will extend for u and will advice on how/ where to send your passports

I used “GMG” and some really big travelling bags that don’t have tyres or rods, just cloth.

Hehehhe nice experience ma, well in case you want to use transit next time, check online e.g edmontontransit or Calgarytransit you will see the stops and like 4 or 5 digits on where to stop and if you get to the bustop you will see that same number written on it. In Marlborough NE calgary they have 2 bus 23 each on the opposite side of the road,I went to the final station in saddletown while heading to work trust me it wasn't funny

Welcome to canny

I checked ETS online to know movement times o, but next time I no go loss again, I gathered all the bus routes and map I found on the bus, I wan jack them, lol

So yesterday I say I wan buy small supplies for house, oga say “don’t go, it’s too cold after we register the car, we would go together on Thursday”, me I say I want to go, why are u trying to dull me na? na so I wear cloth enter -29 weather.

I Dey hail mysef Say ahnn ahnn, this my baffing up is ok o, I’m not cold. Na so I waka reach the bus stop near the house,
Then I realized say the area get plenty bus stops and I was at the wrong one, I wasn’t sure which one I was to wait at, I brought out my phone to use the map and the battery just drained, even the phone know say the cold na gangster.

After trekking from one end of the street to the other, I decided to wait at the one that looked more like a busy road to me. My nose felt frozen, poor me cry

When I look time, it was past the time I saw online that the bus would arrive, and the next was for 30mins later, jisox, so I go sidon wait outside? E mean say na ice mummyjaygirls dem go come carry o, then I thought of how my oga go tell me say shebi I said don’t go, so I followed the stubborn part of my brain and decided to sit and wait for the bus.

After small time (20mins) I decided to walk to another bus stop, I never waka far when I saw the bus on the other side of the road dropping off passengers, so I turned back to wait again. Like 10 minutes later, the bus arrived. Yippie!

I hopped one, sat at the back to the final stop. The initial plan was to use Uber to the store, but when I got there the “devil” in me say why don’t u just complete the journey with the bus na? Na im I ask bus driver say I Dey go .... he say enter that one, so I entered and told the driver say, see where I Dey go o, he say ok, sit down, we dey go dey go, I no Dey gree reach my destination, next thing I saw was the bus station, Chineke! This guy don do me one chance, so I told him say bros, where the place where u suppose drop me na, he say “sorry, I didn’t see it” hian! Thunder fire u, hiss.

So he says where exactly is the place, i say ...., o get on that bus, so I did again, this time I turned on google map and it showed the place was around the area, but as per no be molue and u can’t stop anyhow, I had to wait till the next bus stop.

By this time, I don already tire, I say make I use Uber as e no far from where I stop, so e no go too cost, my village people say “ur suffer never reach us” Uber no gree work, e say ur number isn’t registered, blood of Zachariah! Bet y meeee! As I Dey think how I go do, yellow cab just passed in front of me, see as I copy the number sharp sharp, called them (while praying the phone wouldn’t die on me) and in a few minutes my taxi arrived, the rest they say is history.

When I reach house na so I face heater for my body while drinking hot milo and slept off on that spot. Lol

So that’s my first over sabi experience in Canada o.

@mummyjaygirls welcome. I couldn't help but laugh your post was interesting. Your kids would absolutely love this weather lol!
No documentation needed to start driving. You can use your naija license for the next 90 days to drive or register a vehicle if you buy one. The insurance will only be slightly higher registering with a naija license.

Madam vcole, hailings, no mind me I play too much. Lol. Thanks for the info.

These children no wan know say harmattan different from snow sha, dem just dey ginger to go outside, abeg make dem chill small first.
