Good day everyone.
My baby will be 6weeks old on 14th of Feb and the hospital i put to bed immunise babies 2nd nd last Friday of every month. Second Friday of this month is 11th and we ll be exactly 6wks on 14th. Should my baby take the immunisation on the 11th? Or wait until last Friday in February?

I hear induction is very painful…that’s why some ppl prefer to wait for labour to start on it’s own…when you push with contractions….someone said induction doesn’t give the same contraction like normal…and more painful….I dunno sha as I’m a ftm

I had my first baby through induction at exactly 40weeks old. I am pregnant with my second and currently 39weeks gone. If she passes her due date I ll go for another induction. My experience on induction wasn't really bad/painful per se.
Got to the hospital that day by 9am was induced by 10am. (Its kinda uncomfortable because of the tablet the doctor inserted in my vagina) didn't feel anything all through the day till like 8pm at night,my contractions were on and off and not so strong was checked checked twice and i was just 4cm dilated. I slept till 2am when the doctor came to check me again,was still 4cm and I was given another tablet. It wasn't until like 5am I started having very strong contractions. I was advised to walk around the ward. My sister, I couldn't even lift a leg it was as if my legs were nailed to the floor me that thought I have a high threshold for pain by 7am my water broke and the contractions increased. They were coming per seconds and the only way I could ease on the pain was double over which made my baby's eyes to be bloodshot but it cleared within a week. By 9am I had an urge to poop and I told the nurses they thought I wasn't ready until they followed me to the room and saw my baby's head, called the doctor and with 3 huge pushes. My 4.2kg prince came out.
So don't be scared the only thing u should pray about is to have a healthy baby and mother and that labour will be quick,short and without complications

I didn't know there's a particular week/month to eat pineapples. I have been eating it right from 1st trimester up until now and am 36wks gone,its one of the fruits I could stand during ms.
I think eating fruits just like everything else should be in moderation and said fruits should be ripe enough to consume.

Hello teamie,am also 36 weeks this week. Don't fret jare,the baby may not be up to that. I understand the fear of tears/ episiotomy because I had both in in my two deliveries and I pray I don't have this time. All the same,the baby needs nutrients so just take all the classes of food with portion control but take fruits and vegetables more. Safe delivery to us.

Hii Mama, I think we are teamies, good thing Ur baby is head down o, for the weight, scan shows an estimated weight and yours could also be genes, so don't take it too heart.
but here's what my doctor adviced me then reduce carbs, do more of protein and fruits. In this case, since u have less than 4 weeks to go, you can do just fruits in d day and main meal in the night, I know it's not easy but no pain no gain sha. I'm doing it but Honestly I have not been consistent considering most of our meals here is Carbs.

Phew!!! Feels good reading from someone in my shoes. I like rice and pasta to a fault i even had to get ofada(brown) rice since they said its healthier. Right now I will do as u have said, will be eating majorly fruits and eating vegetables, its not easy but God will see us through.
I feel so relieved already

Senior mama, of cos you are not being unreasonable, your fears are legit, but don't worry about it most scan are just estimate and for all you know your baby's actual weight may not be up to that,the good part is baby is head down so your are ready to go just relax, at this point i don't think there is anything you can do to reduce baby's weight, it's more of genetics and you have reached finished line already, just focus more on getting your body ready for delivery.

i am jealous of u sef cos March looks farrrr farrrrrrrr away and it is march ending sef, can't wait to see my handsome boy, forgive me jare i just found out sex yesterday and the thing is shaking me

Mamas in the house am a bit worried ooo, went for scan yesterday at 36weeks, my baby is already head down but she weighs 3.1kg. I don't know what to do to stop(reduce) her weight by the time she's ready to come out.

My first child was 4.2kg at birth and I know what I passed through regarding tears and all. I hope I'm not being unreasonable?
