1. Does WAEC or any educational institution or examination body in Nigeria have the power to issue certificate the SECOND time after the first is issued and without first retrieval of the first certificate (just as they have done in the case of President Muhammadu Buhari)?

2. Does WAEC or any educational institution or examination body in Nigeria (and globally) have the right to issue a fresh certificate to an individual after a previous issuance even when the individual never reported that the previous certificate contains error nor returned same to allow for a fresh certificate to be issued (just as they have done in the case of President Muhammadu Buhari)?

3. Is it not expected of WAEC or any educational institution or examination body in Nigeria to issue a certified true copy of certificate to individuals whose certificates got lost, stolen or damaged, as with the global norm and policy?

PRESS STATEMENT

Today, our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) had her primary elections in Lagos state, it was a keen contest between myself and my competitor, Mr Jide Sanwo-olu.

As usual in any political competition, especially one where all contestants are ably skilled and qualified, the contest was filled with intrigues and strategies of innumerable moves and counter moves. It was a contest of competitors, not a battle of enemies.

Members of our Party have spoken, they have said loud and clear that at this time, Sanwo-olu is the person they want to represent us all in the forth coming general elections in 2019.

This brings to an end the primary elections. We now have to fuse together as one, to forge ahead in unity of purpose to ensure that our state does not fall into the hands of the other parties whose stock in trade is corruption and/or incompetence.

I would follow in the tradition of our party, and footstep of my great predecessor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, who despite not having his way during the 2015 primaries, still went ahead to give me his 100% support. I would also be at the fore front in the support of my erudite brother, Babajide Sanwo-olu.

I am hereby directing that all Ambode support group structures be collapsed into the Sanwo-olu structure, which i believe would in time also be collapsed into the overall APC campaign structure.

I thank the people of Lagos State for giving me the opportunity to have led in the past 4 years. There have been lessons learnt and insights gained.

I thank the party leaders both at state and federal level, especially Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and President Muhammadu buhari for their leadership roles in the party.

Because "Eko o baje" , that was why "itesiwaju Eko je wa logun", now let's all go out there as one inseparable broom and "Sanwo Eko".

During the 2015 elections, the ANGEL engaged all its WEAPON of change and anti graft war in it's political arsenal to remind Nigerians how sinful and demonic this ANGEL has treated us and promised to love us more than the angel. Some of us chose to preach a different gospel that this ANGEL must never be trusted for indeed, we don't actually know him and our political future must never be entrusted in his care. The angel welcomed and baptized some known DEMONS in the camp of our beloved known DEVIL and christened them RIGHTEOUS DEVILS just to gain power. A case of pot calling kettle black just to gain undue FAVOR.

Since the ANGEL manipulated his way to power with his change mantra, Nigerians have truly embraced change from bad to worse, from inflation to stagflation, from hunger to famine, from confusion to frustration, from killings to genocide and ethnic cleansing, from democracy to tyranny, from giant of Africa to ant of the universe from corruption to Inexplicable looting of our collective patrimony while the angel continues to blame the Devil for all these. Indeed, the ANGEL has really whipped us with scorpion when we never knew that the DEVIL was very lenient in whipping us with sticks.

Sooner than later we'll be faced with the option of choosing between this ANGEL and his rival DEVIL or should I say choosing between two known DEVILS. Yes, two DEVILS because the ANGEL has proven to be a BIGGER DEVIL. But just like a friend once advised me, "When two EVILS are before you, always choose the lesser EVIL". In the instant case APC IS NOT THE LESSER EVIL. The choice is ours!!!
