There's absolutely nothing Obi would've done differently that Nigeria would've been better than it is today.

Moreover, Obi doesn't have what it takes to withstand the northern influence.

The South East should lower their voice and build a strong leader or king that will be highly respected.... Someone with greater influence that would influence their political and national decisions.

Not every one speaki6from different point of views and expect the country to take them serious.

Pls stop this ignorance. There are other better thing others may have done before taking the decisions Tinubu took.

Anyone else may have audited the actual amounts of imported petrol that warranted to be subsidized. So the burden of the abrupt decision to stop subsidy doesn't fall on the masses.

Bro. Tinubu will get it right. He is making very tough decisions that will gradually stabilize things. Nigerians want quick fix of decades of corruption it can't work
You are not really learned. You really think Tinubu is making the right decisions?

Tinubu is simply making the right decisions at the wrong time and wrong circumstance.

He has put the cart before the horse in those your so called moments of tough decisions.

1. He took out the fuel subsidy without venturing into a proper audit of the actual petrol quantity the government should be subsidizing.

2. He floated the naira without putting us in a position to have more goods for export than we have for import. Before china started devaluing their currency (which is equivalent to us floating) they had become one of the biggest world producers and exporters. So when they devalued their currencies, it favoured them *INSTANTLY*. not *BEFORE 4 YEARS TIME*
INSTANTLY.

3. This Floating of naira has favoured Nigerians abroad than it has favoured us here in Nigeria. Cos their Dollars and pounds has more purchase power of products here in Nigeria.
Their 1000dollars is now 1.5Million naira which can do quite more than what 500thousand naira could do for them when 1dollar was 500naira.

You get the drift?

The cost of dollar has trippled since Tinubu came in.
But most items have only doubled in cost here in Nigeria.
Meaning their Dollars can purchase most items more now In Nigeria than it used to before Tinubu?
And whats the Economic gain to us in that?
70% of us are poor and can't afford most of those items.

COMPAQ:

Clearly you are just asking for asking sake.

Tinubu has only made two critical decisions - subsidy removal and float of the Naira, so why asking again "what tough decisions". What's tougher than subsidy removal that all other Presidents have kicked down the road.

"Who destabilized"...I basically answered this in my post. Go and re-read!! And then read between the lines, if you cant figure it out.

Is corruption all about Tinubu? He was totally not involved in 8 years of Buhari government. Totally frozen out. Neither Jonathan's govt.
Tinubu seemed not involved in the corruption cos his involvement in the corruption was placed on AUTO-PILOT.

While others needed to be changing gears and maneuvering thru obstacles& authorities.

Tinubu"s corruption vehicle was running on freelane on Cruise-Control-Autopilot.

Buhari is so terrible, that under his nose, Nigeria resources was so milked out and govt purse was just not emptied, but the resources of several years ahead had also been squandered and sold by just a very few individuals.

A CBN governor having 3 banks within just few years of his reign as governor. . only God know much NNPCL MD and several key players in CBN, Finance Ministry and other key portfolios have carted away.

Such a disaster to the nation. We have seen where tribe and religion has pushed us into now as a nation.

Tinubu and Buhari are old men and needed to rest, and be treated, yet people kept pushing them to carry the widest capacity of the country.

Well, we are in this together now.

Buhari designed his handling of governance in such a way that only 2 or 3 persons told him what was right or wrong.

And these 2 or 3 persons even went beyond their areas of specialization.

These men were Malami, late Abba kyari and momman Daura.

All the intended looters like emefiele, nnpc MD , FIRS chairman etc needed to do to have their ways was lobby those 3men above to coarse the president on their behalf.

Buhari's cluelessness is unique. He is the only clueless man who knows he is indeed clueless.

And where is all that money being spent? Is it not in same Nigera?
At 5000 most japa and importation will stop. The rich and those who engage in foreign will pay through the nose. Exportation of anything exportable will skyrocket. Wanton consumerism will be forced to end. Developed economies also have homeless, uneducated, unexposed and unlucky. Nigeria will finally be forced to do what they do - have meaningful safety nets for the extremely poor or be embarrassed with videos of people dying of hunger. Charities and international bodies will also step in as they do durring wars and extreme conditions.

It's so comfortable for you to say this. Cos you are not currently one of the extremely poor or amongst those dieing of hunger.

From what you wrote here, you are comfortably complying with the extremely poor becoming sacrificial lambs.
Remember they are human beings like you also.

*Politeness*
Here's an obvious example: i read somewhere that floating has reduced the rate of japa. Who is losing? Those countries that would have gotten money from visa, etc, plus take our youth and brains. Tell me who is gaining? Remember this is just floating. If you intentionally totally devalue Naira, japa will stop completely and Nigerians will stop buying anything foreign!
Is there any gain to Nigeria in anything you mentioned here?
If the foreign countries are no longer able to take our brains and the brains are stranded here but living&working in bad conditions, is that a good thing for the brains.

The truth is that Tinubu put the cart before the horse here with this floating order.
Same thing he did be removing subsidy abruptly.

He should have put other things in place before floating the economy.

This is Nigeria whereby the stolen-naira(by politicians, yahoo boys, looted funds, pinched out funds from allocations) is more than the hard-earned naira(salaries, business profits, sales-profits).

These are the nairas that are chasing the dollars and depreciating the naira value by the day.

Remember he has six wives too, so this particular one is not more special to him than the remaining five wives⚠️

So what is OP celebrating his wife for exactly😁😁

He just foolishly came online to celebrate his wife for being good to him lol 😆😆😂

Are you not seeing the difference here??

Or do you a medicated glasses 🤓
If only you knew that some couples normal day could be more highlighting than ther birthdays.

Their is no worldwide best-assigned date to celebrate your partner.
Also perhaps such public methods of celebration and appreciation of Op's wife has worked for the better in his life and marriage to this same woman.

You get my drift?
What may have finally worked against you in your past may have worked in op's favour.

Perhaps in most past instances you have praised your partners from childhood they end up disappointing you in the nearest future.
The ones you appreciated publicly, breaks your head with bottle the following day.

But op from his childhood praises his girlfriend, and she does even better the following day

So I get where you are coming from.

My darling wife,

I want to take this moment to express my deepest gratitude for all that you do to support our family during this difficult economic time. I know it has not been easy with me out of work, but you have stepped up selflessly.

Your strength through the extra hours you've had to take on at work inspires me daily. Coming home exhausted yet still finding the energy to care for me and our children is a testament to your seemingly endless love and devotion. I could not ask for a better partner by my side.

I promise you that when I'm fortunate enough to find work again, I will repay your dedication tenfold. I will take over more duties around the house and with the kids so you can rest and recharge. I commit to supporting you emotionally and financially just as steadfastly as you have uplifted me.

This period has revealed the depths of your compassion and driven home how blessed I am to call you my wife. Please know that I cherish and appreciate you more than words can describe, today and every day. We will get through these challenges together, and I will be here loving and caring for you and our family - just as wonderfully as you have loved and cared for us.

Thank you, my love!
pls how does this accidented car connect to your post?

Have you seen Ned, otedola or dangote appreciating women online?

Well I don't have energy for poor people♂️

You and OP can continue to fool yourselves

Im sure you have extreme inferiority complex

You lack your own personal manners of reactions and actions.
What you do is imagine how those your wealthy role models would react to each circumstance you are bring faced with and imitate your imaginations.

It takes more courage to express a none-influenced manner of affection, br it public or private.
