Every IGP does this same rubbish.
Why can't this people come out with unique ideas for God's sake!
So they expect former office holders with means to be going about unsecured with rate of kidnapping and frustration in Nigeria?
The other reasonable alternative is a policy document that empowers private security guards to carry arms,so that they can be employed as guards by these set of exposed people.

Let them use their means to secure private security services. Nigerians without means are more at risk of insecurities.

Career / Re: How Can A Single Guy Manage ₦‎25k Salary In Port Harcourt? by NapoleonHill: 6:40am On Jul 17, 2023
MS247:
cool

You must learn how to negotiate salary with your boss

Tell them confidently you are ready to work diligently and honestly but a 25k salary needs some side attraction for you to be effective

You have a conversation like....

Sir; due to increase in cost of living 800 daily isn't enough for me to work effectively

Then you go further....

Sir; My feeding cost 600 to 1000 daily
My transport cost 200 daily
Accomodations cost 60,000 anually

Please would you be open to negotiate my salary further I will be very happy

.

You need to understand the nature of the job he does before anything. For such amount, it's probably a unskilled role which makes him swiftly replaceable.

You should also consider that the business itself is also under the economic situation that threatens it. A lot of businesses are meant to fail around this time.

He may be lucky with his negotiation but if it doesn't work, he should not feel bad about it.

The salary is very small . The job your doing is there any extra by the side?. Let's do it like this everything is percentage . 1) rent per month 15% salary N22,500 per month or N270,000 per year ( room and parlour). 2) Food 15% salary N22,500 ( target to eat N500 per plate or less) . 3)entertainment /hygiene 10% of salary or N15,000 monthly ( your girlfriend falls under entertainment so target working lady to reduce cost avoid students please). So far 55% of your salary has been spent you have 45% left. I will suggest you save 30% and use 15% for gifts, transportation and religious donation.

Where do you get a room and palour for 270 in Lagos, bro?

Politics / Re: Is Inec Tempering With Abuja Result To Give Tinubu 25% by NapoleonHill: 9:11pm On Jul 15, 2023
A lot of you are just shameless.

Even if it were the case that 25% is compulsory in Abuja, are you not supposed to hide your face in shame that your principal cannot even make 25% in more than 16 states which is 8 states short of the target?

You want someone who got over 25% in almost all the states across the country to give up his mandate for a third class graduate who still came third in the election?

If this is not delusion, it's raving madness but I'm sure the tribunal will put you and the rubbish you took to court in the deepest part of the dustbin where it belongs.

You dropped your senses before commenting this. Which youth will not want to take care of his old parent as they pleases ? How will 8k help these old people who depend on their youthful children?
Was tinibu voted for to come and share money?
So its 8k and 12million poor old people that exist in this country?

Where is your thinking Cap. SMH
yeye dey smell..

Many of you are just jumping everywhere unreasonably.

1. You did not vote Tinubu so you cannot speak to why he we gave him the mandate. When Obi reclaims the mandate, you can question why he was voted.

2. That you have a smart phone and data is a testament that the said amount is not meant for you. If not that some of you have also become so rich and have lost touch with reality, you really think the poor people of this country will not find 8k useful for their basic need?

Should they then not have it?

Let the country that works start in your family.

A lot of you are just envious of others. Earlier in the week, we saw all Afe Babalola's children on TV who are lawyers. People like you will simply go mad and blame their father for their success when, in fact, for some of you who are fortunate to come from affluent families, you do the same.

If you don't know this, it's either you're not from a family where your parents have noble jobs, which is not a bad things btw, or you're simply out of touch with your own reality.

Programming / Re: If You're Entering Tech Don't Learn Frontend... by NapoleonHill: 9:01am On Jul 15, 2023
My take is, for someone coming into tech for the first time, it's easier to start with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. These will give you the visuals to see first hand what you're doing. When you see in real-time how what you write translate into something magnificent, you'd be inspired to do more.

While I may not say frontend is saturated, what the influx into the role means is you have to be very good with your craft.

Other tech fields are harder to break through for entry level except you're just lucky. This is because real learning will take place at enterprise level.

Let's take DevOps for example. There are too many bottlenecks that only working on enterprise projects and a lot of them will develop you fast enough.

To summarize, if you're lucky, jump on entry level roles in cyber security and DevOps and data analytics but if you're looking to be inspired as someone who's never done anything tech, by all means, take html, css and JavaScript.

Even if Tinubu gets 0% in Abuja, it doesn't matter because he would be president for 8 years and I hope he gets lesser in 2027 so that you can have enough to wail about in the next dispensation.

All these recycled rubbish in the news is to keep some of you jobless fox busy.

Please tell me what I don't know.

If the son ticks all the criteria boxes, what is the crime in getting what he deserves?
Is he less a Nigerian because his father is highly placed?

As a Vice-Chancellor of a university, is it logical to deny one's son admission even when he did so well in JAMB UTME, SSCE and Post UTME in order to appear so good to the public?

Most influential and successful people use their resources to prepare their wards academically, professionally, socially, etc for the future.

Once you break the jinx of limitations, your descendants are positioned for greatness.
J F Kennedy's, George W Bush's, etc generations benefitted from their ancestors' breakthrough in the Western world or the saner climes as some people like to eulogize them

Don't mind them. Many of their parents are projecting them to take over their businesses and offices.

Go to federal institutions and see the same surname in numerous departments and units. It's hypocrisy all again.

For ur information op, IGBOS neva supported fulani nor yoruba muslims.
The only way to destroy christanity in nigeria is by destroying IGBOS.
Muslims never liked igbos because we opposed sharia law right from day one.
Thats why they want to turn SSners against us just to weaken christainity in nigeria.
Thank God the great people of Edos have understood the game.

Average northern muslim is taught to hate the igbos from childhood.

Southern nigerians and middle beltans should be wise.

Islamization of nigeria can only be achieved by destroying the IGBOS

But Edo has a large population of Muslims.

Why is JAMB railroading this issue without investigating properly? Could the poor girl's school be involved in this sham without her knowledge? Could it be as a result of negligence of duty or human error or malfunctioning of system on the part of JAMB.

Is JAMB trying to pin their inefficiency on the poor girl?

If INEC could do it why not JAMB?

I was just like you until I listened to the Jamb PRO this morning. There are overwhelming evidences that she knew exactly what are scores are.

For example, would you believe just two days ago, she checked her result using her Airtel phone number and it return her original result?

She also attempted to input the result she wanted through text. The record was displayed on channels this morning.

She never mentioned that in her address. She's conceiving a lot.

My question here is; if Nwala wants to analyzed all the 3,263 BVAS devices, would INEC cooperate with him? If INEC will cooperate, will there be enough time for Nwala to analyze all BVAS devices?

It is a shame that INEC does not know the essence of sampling in statistical analysis. This is a mediocre umpire that needs to be overhauled completely from head to toe.

Whether INEC understands data sampling or not, no court will give a verdict based on sampling.
