Its not possible; if that happens to Russia there will be a global recession. The are super-powers for a reason; and the alignment with China and Africa will provide them with all the market they lost to the west due to sanctions.

Russia is a superpower only on paper and social media, but not in real life.

Russia is a poor country with just one and undiversified economy, they are not fully industrialized beyond oil and weapons that not too many countries buy from them.

Look around you, do you see anything made in Russia and when was the last time you saw Russian cars, cell phones, stoves, bicycles, pencils, perfume, any luxury or global brand items, planes, private jets, I mean, any export product from Russia apart from oil and weapons?

Have you ever seen Russian medicine, electronic products on sale anywhere in the world? Have you ever seen any Russian TECH giants, like Google, Apple, Netflix, FB and so on?

Why is Russia the so-called superpower running to other countries to beg for an alternative payment system after the west cut off Visa and Mastercard? Is a superpower not supposed to be immune or protected from little sanctions like Mastercard?

Russia is vulnerable to sanctions and global isolation because it's a weak and poor country with nothing to buffer with and must depend on China for survival even though China is also enforcing the sanctions against Russia.
