i have been stereotyped as "ghetto" cos i walk around "patting" my weave all day, but tht shit itches and NO, my scalp is not dirty.
Who else has this problem and what is the solution?

shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

please i carry chineke beg you! @ topic don't do it cheesy to take out the glue from your hair ,your eyes go see red! except you prefer partial baldness sha! grin

see some people can wear weaves for months and it wont itch them once

and some just a few minutes and start to scratch and pat like someone with an allergy!

either find a weave that is compatible to your skin (i mean high quality made ones) or you stop wearing weaves or just go on patting like you normal do cheesy cheesy

@ ikamefa

d glue and baldness thing depends on d kind of glue,  i hvnt used tracks in over a yr now and i still hav a full head of hair

i use gold bond, unlike the balck rubbery ones common in d market, the gold bond is firm and can get wet and stays on till u take it off with its remover.

its gentle on the hair and virtually invisible

gold bond?  undecided  you mean the black glue? it could be either black or white?  or are we talking about another brand here?

those black glues in the market , they're dangerous. below is the glue am talking about!

Doesn't matter what weave i wear the thing still scratches me. I have tried Milkyway Platinum and all the other high quality ones still no luck. I just gave up.

Yeah, i was going to say that too, i have used indie remi and all them $150 a pack weaves, but it still itches. Maybe it's because i sweat from my scalp (is that weird too? ) But that gold bond glue seems like it will do some serious damage to the scalp. Does it have its own remover?

yes it has its own remover, a kind of oil. . . d weird thing is since i started using liquid gold bond, my hair texture has been improved. . .

that black bond pulls at hair roots because it gets gluey when moist and starts pulling on stray strands. . . d gold bond drys up properly and sticks to what it should be sticking to

Ok oh. I haven't stepped up to that level yet. I guess when i do i will try the remy.
