Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS: 6:06pm On Jun 15, 2009
1-1 @ half time.

I fear for England with one man down but if the Finnish team is like anything like their senior team then they will get trounced and by a wide margin.

Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by Sauron1: 6:29pm On Jun 15, 2009
Nice header from Richards.
Very similar to the goal Juan scored for Brazil earlier.

Don't mind the twats. . . . .

Why take Theo Walcott off?
He woulda formed a good combo with Fraizer Campbell up front.
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by Sauron1: 6:41pm On Jun 15, 2009

summer madness don start. grin
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by Sauron1: 6:46pm On Jun 15, 2009
Kieran Gibbs is a Arrow.
All he had to do was find Campbell in the box and he wasted a golden opportunity.
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS: 6:48pm On Jun 15, 2009
I was wondering if he was a Finnish player. grin
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS: 6:59pm On Jun 15, 2009

Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by ow11(m): 7:00pm On Jun 15, 2009
The game between Germany and England should be more interesting given the history between both teams and would bring another possible face off between Dayokanu and Sauron right here on NL plus we may get to see Gabriel Agbonlahor and Nedum Onuoha Vs Dennis Aogo and Chinedu Ede!
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS: 7:02pm On Jun 15, 2009
Richards off. kinda injured.
James on.
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS: 7:04pm On Jun 15, 2009
Good save by J. Hart.
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS: 7:10pm On Jun 15, 2009
Game over. England 2-1 Finland.

Lots of issues here for England but at this moment, what matters is the 3 points.

Stay tuned for the Spain vs Germany Match coming up in 30 mins.

Walccy was lacklustre today i must say
Overall, England deserved the win
Finland did well but not good enough grin

Mancienne should never play for England again.
At this level, he lacks confidence.

I wanna see Bojan take the Nazis apart.
Germany are shit in this tournament though, they have never won it.
At this level, they are England's BITCH.

Campbell's cameo appearance was better than what Walcott offered for 60 mins.
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS: 7:55pm On Jun 15, 2009
The Germans are holding their own.
This is no mere formality.
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by MrCrackles(m): 7:57pm On Jun 15, 2009

Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS: 8:01pm On Jun 15, 2009
Impressive stuff from the Germans but very poor in the final third.
Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by MrCrackles(m): 8:02pm On Jun 15, 2009
Germany is fast becoming France
Pilfering and tapping youngsters all over the world to represent them!

Sammy Khedira
Nicolas Marin
Dennis Aogo
Askhan Dejagah

They are useless.
England will spank the Germans.

The Spaniards are suffering from stage fright.
Once they nick a goal, they would beat up the Nazis.

When is Duisburg's Chinedu Ede coming on?
Hitler would roll in his grave to know an Igbo boy is playing for Germany. grin
