Hi ya all. Any medical personnel(outside naija) in the house? Please I need your advice urgently. My brother is planning to go do his recidency training abroad, preferrably Canada or any European country. He'd already started his training in OBS and Gynae somewhere in naija, but he's complaining seriously about the condition of service and the pay is really small. The question is:
1. Which schools are really worth the stress?
2. What are his chances of getting a job, during and after the training?
3. What is the procedure?
4. Any hope for wife and kids joining soon or going with him?
5. Does he have to write any exams?

He is very brilliant but the naija condition is frustrating him seriously. Please advise.

Your brother should forget about doing his residency in Canada except if he is a Canadian resident (at the minimum). Not sure of current situation in the US but you can google the USMLE for further details.
