Disaster is what is happening in SW, as a result of Tinubu's strategy. Or how else are you going to describe the assault of the revered Awo, and almighty Tinubu?

What disaster? Where? Give an inclining as to where or how this disaster is taking place.

All the gbeboruns, keep walking- nothing to see here. Show's over. Your plan has failed, so you can go and bury your heads in shame at your silly plan to destabilize the southwest.

No man can control the circumstances of his birth. You don't get to choose who yours parents are in life smiley Any indiscretion/failings of parents shouldn't negatively affect the child.

That is what the worshipers of the thieving vagabond have reduced themselves to, in their blind allegiance.  Tinubu is a liability, not only to Fasola but also to SW and Nigeria as a whole.

Many of these characters are trolls. Trolls don't think, trolls don't offer intelligent debates or conversations, they just repeat the same insane and irrational gibberish endlessly.

Many of them have repeated the same rubbish under different IDs. They switch IDs to make themselves sound different, but it's the same trolls repeating the same rubbish.

It is obvious that you and the writers at Tribune do not know the meaning of bastard. To call Tinubu a bastard, first you have to ascertain the circumstances of his birth. At the very least, Tinubu was adopted; that is quite different from being born illegitimately. I suggest you pick up a dictionary and quit exposing the gaps in your alleged '$2 million' education. To call an adoptee such as Tinubu a bastard is to call the millions of adopted and orphaned children in the world bastards.

Gerald Ford known as Leslie Lynch King was the 37th President of the US and was adopted. Bill Clinton (42nd President) was born William Jefferson Blythe, but his father died before his birth and his mother remarried, to Roger Clinton Sr., in 1950. If everyone had the same myopic and shallow mindsets as you and Wole Awolowo, the America would never have had Bill Clinton as president and that would have been a shame as he is considered one of the finest presidents ever.

Like Ekt_Bear stated, no one can control his birth. Or were you able to influence your birth from the womb? Even if Tinubu is a bastard, how does that remove from any of his abilities? Bastard or not, the people following Tinubu are unconcerned. You may not be a bastard but I will hazard a guess and state that you couldn't lead a gang of toddlers even if you wanted to.
Re: Tribune Reporter's Confusion Over Identity Of Tinubu's Parents by ektbear: 3:41pm On Jun 17, 2011
These anti-Tinubu folk don't seem to get it. The strategies you are using now (calling him a bastard, felon, etc) are simply a poor tactic if you want to bring him down. They make you look petty and uncouth.

Folks like me who aren't that passionate about him then start wondering, "Hey, why are these folks trying to pull down and slander this dude? What do they have to gain?"

Your best strategy for destroying Tinubu (since that seems to be your goal) is to sponsor some sort of rebellion within the ACN. Break the party unity somehow. Perhaps empower Fashola to somehow lead a coup against Tinubu.

Trying to empower discredited PDP folks? The essentially powerless and uninfluential Tribune newspaper? Probably not going to work out too well.

Very misinformed and unnecessarily flippant. Again, you've exposed your non-familiarity with Nigeria, and Lagos in particular. Actually, you are the one exposing the gaps in your '$2 million' education.

Bastard, according to the Harper dictionary of contemporary usage, means fraudulent; having a misleading appearance. And, I think, that is the working meaning the Tribun's article is based. Misleading appearance in the sense that he clamied to have attended GCI when he never did. He also claimed to have studied at U of Chicago, which again is false. Also, he told INEC that he studied BS Economics at Chicago State when BS Economics wasnt even offered at Chicago State at the supposed time of his enrollment.

He also presented a misleading appearance of himself when, quoting Tribune,  "Chief Tinubu, in his letter, also adverted to the claim that Mama (Dr) HID Awolowo had known him from his childhood. He said: “How can I overlook old age, which every Yoruba person reveres; and the life-long closeness between you and my mum, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, who has served the Awolowo family all her life, and go ahead to sponsor an article to disparage the  Awolowo  name that we all revere?’’

When in fact, quoting the Tribune again, "However, as far as we know, the two children of Alhaja Mogaji known to Mama are Rafatu Biodun and Sakirat Modupe
. Certainly, Bola Ahmed is not one of the children of Alhaja Mogaji known to Mama. Therefore, we are unable to reconcile his account with the facts at our disposal."

Also, taking the meaning of the referenced definition of Bastard, literally. Focusing on the misleading appearance part: What dictated the change in his style of dress-ing from the more "corporate' Tinubu that ran for Senate in 1992  to the new Tinubu  circa 1999-now "who often dress to look like AWO whereas [his] activities are incomparable to what AWO stood for on what good governance is."

At the very least, Tinubu was adopted;

I am sure you were there when he was adopted by Abibatu Mogaji. Only if he would take the high road, like Obama, and present the adoption papers for us all to see with our korokoro eyes. Maybe then, we will all give it a rest.

And, I am sure you know this much about Bill Clinton because you are close to Bill Clinton. After all, the great Katsumoto doesnt read Wikipedia.

Well, this has never been the point. You lack basic understanding of Yoruba culture, maybe thats why you are always off with your analysis, or maybe we should call it opinion. Leadership is based on integrity, extra-ordinary courage and personal merit. On those three alone, he has failed. He lacks the personal merit to lead himself let alone others.

The word bastard connotes very deep meaning in Yoruba consciousness, and it would be difficult to understand it if you are an 'ajeji' to the language. Your narrow interpretation and off-point, confabulatory slant to @Adejoro aka Igbobuigbo's post exposes the great gulf in your understanding and claim to naija-ness. If I were you, I'd stop posting here to prevent further embarrassments from @Adejoro et al. That is me though, I cant speak or act on your behalf.

That said, the only person that can make all this go away is Tinubu. He has a lot of options; Deny like Clinton, Confess, admit, and apologize like another 'bastard' ( your definition, not mine), Clinton. He could write a book, if organizing a world press conference would prove too much for him and his goons. Irrespective of his approach, One thing that is sure though is that, he needs to stare down the devil, like a 'leader' ( yours, not mine).

The thing you dont know is that, we humans are very forgiving. We love heroes, and we do like 'Bastards' as a matter of fact. The popular Yoruba proverb says: Ba se bi eru, la b'omo; meaning, by virtue of birth alone, we are all equal. But we also learnt from the same Yoruba people that " B'elejo ba m'ejoo re lebi, ko nipe lori ikunle. If one confesses one's wrongdoing, then one will not stay long on his knees.

Even the bible you hypocritically follow like a sheep emphasized confession as an  indispensable road to forgiveness. "He that covers his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall find mercy." Proverbs 28: cant remember the verse.

And, your moronic question on how it removes from his abilities? Well, maybe you should start by telling us what those abilities are. The abilities he possesses that no one else has. Those abilities that put him way above the rest of us. Those abilities that put him in the top 0.0000000000001 percentile of all Nigerians in deeds, achievements, philanthropy, character, and competence. Those abilities that are so important that we need to cut him some slacks WRT his 'bastardized' ways. At least the Clinton you want to compare him with was a stellar governor of Arkansas before he became the president of the US. He was "responsible for state educational improvement programs, notably more spending for schools, rising opportunities for gifted children, an increase in vocational education, raising of teachers' salaries, inclusion of a wider variety of courses, and mandatory teacher testing for aspiring educators." Only if we could say the same about your leader's reign of terror in Lagos.

Under Marwa, we could sleep with our eyes closed, but Ojuyobo and his thugs thought that was a luxury we should not have.

So in closing: You may not be a bastard like Tinubu or as dishonest as the jagaban himself but I will hazard a guess and state .     .       .   No, no, no, I shouldnt do that, it is very childish and immature to deride the character of an anonymous forumite on the phrigging internet. Especially, when the person hasnt done anything wrong.

This piece shows the pettiness of the Awolowo family, do they want us to also bring out their dirty secrets or who amongst them does not have a thing or two to hide, so Alhaja Mogaji is not Tinubu's mother, big deal, there are great people who have been adopted and excelled, I wish Tinubu will just unleash the Nation on them for a few weeks, they will hear wen.

@ola_pluto

Tribune wants to destroy Awo legacy in the face of the youths of today. We know our leaders of today. Oba mewa, igba mewa. We know that if not for Tinubu's stance in 2003, Nigeria will be a one-party state. We know that it is Tinubu's shrewdness and the people's support that brought back ACN to the SW.
I just wish Tribune stop this nonsense before making mama HID look like papa Randle who was put in his place by Fashola. If Tinubu should shoot one, I do not think mama HID (Akala's new found godmother) will stand for longer.

I don't know why Chief Awolowo family are not comfortable that Asiwaju Tinubu is our leader.

I see it like that they like the type of politics of PDP where everybody is equal and everybody will be trying linking themselves to their family for any political success.

The kind of PDP politics always result in confusion.

It was very difficult for Mr. Oyinlola to chose their (acceptable) governorship candidate that time.

E pe le o omo oduduwa. So stranger now comes to the defence of the number one anti-Yoruba miscreant on NL because of Tinubu. You surely do feel vey strongly about Tinubu to be on the same side as Mekusxx aka Adejoro.  Lol The comment about the $2 million only applies to Adejoro, as he is the only person that claimed that the cost of his education to date is $2 million.

So Tinubu is no longer a ‘bastard’ by virtue of birth, he is now one by virtue of not being an omoluabi? What will be next? He is a bastard because he didn’t f0ck you in the a.r.s.e?

Adoption papers? Really, like the ones used in your village when an uncle/aunt takes in the son or daughter of a relative who isn’t able to provide proper care. For someone who claims to be very Yoruba, it sure is lost on you that many Yoruba people actually adopt kids without any formality

My basic lack of Yoruba culture is glaring today but only a few days ago, you submitted the following post. Why the inconsistency? You didn’t take your drugs today?

Ystranger:

I know that was directed at Ileke. Having followed you a while now, i see you as a very calculative person. You pick your opponents. Why not direct than crapp to people who know and who understand Nigerian politics, and people old enough to know their right from their left. People with deep understanding of Yoruba culture and western politics. Why not say that to Katsumoto? Or DK or Kilode?

Whether I am Yoruba or not or whether I have never been to Nigeria before is not really relevant. What is relevant is possessing a deep understanding of the situation on ground and the ability to interpret current events. Those qualities are lacking in you despite the fact that you have alluded to being born and bred in Yoruba hinterland (omo oko).  Your abilities can be likened to a village hunter; very ancient, lacking in exposure, and lacking the ability to embrace change. Did you even live in a big city before you found yourself in the US? I arrived at this conclusion based on the various t.i.t-bits you have left on this forum and not because I am clairvoyant.

You attack Tinubu because you say that he has not displayed the qualities of an omoluabi but such characterisation should come from those who exhibit a high degree of moral attitudes and not from those who go through an online forum exhibiting the most perverse and sickening antagonistic behaviour. Constantly displaying a bullying mentality; were you abused as a child?

Did you suggest I stop posting because of Adejoro? Go and ask Adejoro himself and he’ll tell you how many times he has had is ar.se handed to him. There are still a few threads around where Adejoro aka Mekusxxx aka akin-egba was exposed.  Why do you think he is the only member who has more monikers than you Alhaji stranger?

Please be my guest and hazard a guess about me. Please put up a poll and lets see the outcome. I may not be the most well behaved member but I certainly have never sunk to depths of depravity as some members such as yourself.  You will do well to avoid responding to me if you are unable to do so without your usual incendiary language. I may ignore you or I may not be as kind as this. I don’t give a rats ar.se what your position is on Tinubu or ACN, just don’t bring your f0cking lunacy near me again.

I have tried to ignore your constant mood swings (really, how often do you ovulate?) but I will rather assume that you have the patience and concentration of an 8 year old.
