There would be mass anger and frustration, and many citizens won't fear death anymore because their lives are already a living hell. The only thriving industry in Nigeria today, which is kidnapping would blossom as Boko Haram, bandits and herdsmen compete with each other for territories in the North and the stiff competition would push them down South. As they record successes in the South while North is already saturated, others would arrive in droves.

This is where it gets tricky.....

Remember that Peter Obi has already unified SE and SS more than ever before and the demography that happens to be his backbone are the youths. After seeing their hopes dashed with Peter Obi's defeat at the polls, they are most likely to give up on Nigeria having invested so much faith and emotions that Nigeria could be salvaged and it failed. They would naturally be angry, frustrated, bitter, hungry and hopeless. What is likely to happen at this point would be #endsars reloaded, however, it would be more brutal this time and more extensive. Their anger will be turned against the Nigerian state and whatever it represents. Depending on how the federal government responds to it, militia groups and mass rebellion will snowball in the South, tribal skirmishes will become more rampant in the SW between the indigenes and Northerners. Oil industry will collapse as restiveness in the region makes it impossible. Only oil theft and bunkering will thrive. Also, in the SE, army and police would be seen as invading forces and would be sabotaged. They will ultimately lose legitimacy and authority due to extrajudicial killings. In other words, there would be chaos all over the country.

The United Nations and EU fearing that a full blown crises in Nigeria would disrupt the entire subregion and result to mass emigration and refugee crises in Europe would want to intervene and they would do exactly what they did in Sudan by asking for peace and giving time maybe 5 years to conduct a referendum.
