Politics / BREAKING: INEC Postpones Governorship, House Of Assembly Polls by Notjustzaki(m): 12:08am On Mar 09, 2023
BREAKING: INEC Postpones Governorship, House Of Assembly Polls
In a statement on Wednesday night, INEC National Commissioner for Voter Education, Festus Okoye, said the elections will hold on Saturday, March 18.

[b]The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the governorship and state house of assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, March 11.

In a statement on Wednesday night, INEC National Commissioner for Voter Education, Festus Okoye, said the elections will hold on Saturday, March 18.

He said, following the ruling by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (EPT) on the reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) used for the February 25 Presidential election, the Commission met to assess its impact on its preparations for the governorship exercise.
“The Commission has taken the difficult but necessary decision to reschedule the Governorship and State Assembly elections which will now take place on Saturday 18th March 2023,” he said.

According to Okoye, political parties will continue their campaigns until midnight of Thursday, 16th March 2023 – 24 hours before the new date for the election.
Okoye stated that though the tribunal’s ruling would enable INEC to commence the preparation of the BVAS for the governorship and state assembly elections, it is too late for the reconfiguration to be concluded.
“This decision has not been taken lightly but it is necessary to ensure that there is adequate time to back up the data stored on the over 176,000 BVAS machines from the presidential and National Assembly elections held on 25th February 2023 and then to reconfigure them for the Governorship and State Assembly elections. This has been the practice for all elections, including the period when the Commission was using Smart Card Readers.
“However, we wish to reiterate that the Commission is not against litigants inspecting election materials. Consequently, it will continue to grant all litigants access to the materials they require to pursue their cases in court,” he added.

Education / Students Pledges Support For SIM Fubara, A Campaign Led By Comr. Maxwell Soye, by Notjustzaki(m): 5:34pm On Feb 18, 2023
The Deputy Director, Students Mobilisation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial campaign council on Wednesday 16th February, 2023 kicked started the sensitisation of students participation in the forth coming elections and why they should vote for the Siminalayi Fubara/Ngozi Odu Ticket for the 2023 general election.

The event, which took place at the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, was later hosted at the Rivers State university and the Rivers State College of Health science management technology respectively on the same day, has in attendance some former student leaders ranging from NANS, NIDSUG, NURSS and other students groups leaders.

Addressing the students, the Deputy Director and Leader of the movement, Comr. Nyanabo Maxwell Soye said, the PDP is set to coast home to victory towards the emergence of Sir. Amaopusenibo, Siminalayi Joseph Fubara as Governor come 29th May 2023, as well as a total victory for all PDP candidates in the state and National, to replicate the trademark of landslide victory that has become its characteristics since 1999 in Rivers State.

Soye Maxwell said : “Today, all the students and stakeholders who have been working towards the success of successive elections in this State are here for this historic takeoff and with them in this train, we are headed to the massive election victory in this 2023”

Soye Maxwell further said, the rapidly growing endorsements, support and preference by Rivers People and the massive defection of the oppositions to join the PDP in supporting the candidacy of Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for the office of Governor places on our candidate the determination to repay this huge trust in him by leading an administration of inclusiveness and broad-based development that touches on the cardinal aspirations of Rivers State people while safeguarding their lives and properties.

Comr. Soye Maxwell said the students Directorate has launched a robust engagement strategy for students that will replicate the stories of victory that the PDP has always recorded in the State.

Responding on behalf of students, the SUG president of the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Rivers State university and College of Health said that their support will definitely go for Sir. Siminialayi Fubara as governor and called on all Students of their schools to sign on to the Consolidation Agenda.

Goodwill Messages were delivered by the Deputy Director of the Youth mobilisation in the PDP Gubernatorial campaign council, Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo who is the Chairman, National Youth Council of Rivers State, Comr. Levi Okuru who is the NANS Leader, Rivers state, Comr Baririeka David, Comr. Obinali Wondikom, Comr. The turnout was massive for lovers of Sir Siminalayi Joseph Fubara as many students were seen standing both ground floor and at the gallery of the university Auditorium and on Friday 18th of February , 2023 was the turn of Kenule Benson Saro Wiwa Polytechnic (KENPOLY)

Education / Supreme Court Suspends CBN Deadline On Old, New Naira Notes Swap by Notjustzaki(m): 12:40pm On Feb 08, 2023
Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered a suspension of the deadline for the swapping of old to new Naira notes by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The Supreme Court issued an interim injunction restraining the Federal Government from suspending the acceptance of the old Naira notes on the Friday February 10, 2023 deadline.
Kaduna, Zamfara, and Kogi State on Monday instituted a suit against the Federal Government at the Supreme Court over the scarcity of old and new Naira notes due to the CBN naira redesign policy.

The state governments said they are worried about the effects the CBN naira redesign policy is having on the residents of their states.

Kaduna, Zamfara, and Kogi State on Monday instituted a suit against the Federal Government at the Supreme Court over the scarcity of old and new Naira notes due to the CBN naira redesign policy.
Consequently, they are seeking a restraining order by the Supreme Court to compel the government and CBN from implementing the policy.

The states filed an ex-parte motion through their lawyer, AbdulHakeem Uthman Mustapha (SAN), and are urging the Supreme Court to grant them an interim injunction stopping the Federal Government either by itself or acting through the CBN, the commercial banks or its agents from carrying out its plan of ending the timeframe within which the now older versions of the 200, 500 and 1000 denominations of the Naira may no longer be legal tender on February 10, 2023.
Consequently, they are seeking a restraining order by the Supreme Court to compel the government and CBN from implementing the policy.
“Unless this Honourable Court intervenes, the Government and people of Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara State will continue to go through a lot of hardship and would ultimately suffer great loss as a result of the insufficient and unreasonable time within which the Federal Government is embarking on the ongoing currency redesign policy,” Mustapha said.

The states said there has been a shortage in the supply of the new naira notes in Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara States and that citizens who have dutifully deposited their old naira notes have increasingly found it difficult and sometimes next to impossible to access new naira notes to go about their daily activities.

The states said the CBN policy is imposing a lot of hardship on Nigerians and insisted that the ten-day extension by the Federal Government is still insufficient to address the challenges of Nigerians swapping their old Naira notes for new ones.

The case has been adjourned to Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Education / Instablog9ja Fake Report On Rivers Deputy Speaker, Ehie Edison by Notjustzaki(m): 7:51am On Jan 13, 2023
Our attention has been drawn to the
misinformation making rounds on the
Internet published by one Instablog9ja
credited to the Rt Hon Ehie Edison,
Esq, DSSRS,
Deputy Speaker Rivers
State House of Assembly, about "a
woman who gave birth successfully in
Ahoada East LGA, by screaming the
name of His Excellency Nyesom

This is to inform the general and
innocent public that the deputy
speaker Rt Hon Ehie Edison, Esq,
DSSRS never made the above
statement erroneously credited to him
on the 11th Jan 2023.

It is on record that at the official flag-
off of the construction of OBODHI/
0ZOCHI ROAD/BRIDGE on the 11th Jan
2023, the Deputy Speaker didn't have
the microphone at any point in time to
speak on the history-making event that
took place on the faithful day of the
official flag off of the Obodhi/0zochi

It is a pity like the governor said some
weeks ago "that what we have in

We hereby call on the so-called

Education / Just In: Gunmen Shoot Rivers Pdp Pcc Youth Mobiliser by Notjustzaki(m): 4:59pm On Dec 15, 2022
The Director for Youths Mobilization Officer, Atiku/Okowa campaign team in Rivers State, Rhino Owhorkire, has been shot by gunmen suspected to be political thugs.
Owhorkire was allegedly shot while going home in Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area of the State on Wednesday night.
This is coming a month after Owhorkire was allegedly kidnapped and forced to denounce his support for Atiku.
Earlier in November, Owhorkire was seen in a viral video in a cave-like location denouncing support for Atiku under duress.
In the said video, he was surrounded by some persons who were guarding his utterances, even as he was visibly frightened.
The State Commissioner of Police, Okon Effion, had ordered an investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident and promised that those behind the act would be apprehended.
Narrating the latest incident to our correspondent on Thursday morning, a source said the assailants shot at Owhorkire’s vehicle tyres before shooting in his direction through the windscreen.
The source who pleaded anonymity for fear of being identified said Owhorkire was in pain and currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed medical facility.
According to him, “He is a native of Aluu. He was driving to his house yesterday night and was shot by some unknown persons.
“They shot the tyres of his car, shot directly at his windscreen and that is how he received those injuries on his mouth. His mouth was scattered.
“As I speak with you, he is in serious pain. His mouth is scattered. But he is receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.”
On the shooting incident, another viral video which surfaced on the internet showed Owhorkire with tick blood dripping heavily from his injured mouth.
In the video seen by our reporter, Owhorkire’s lips look battered with blood, while his nose and the spot above his upper lip were swollen, as he muttered some words repeatedly and tried to hold his lips with his hands.
“I am dying. They shot me now. I am dying, they have shot me,” he said in the about six-minute video.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the state police command, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident, saying an investigation has commenced.
“Yes, it happened. I have spoken with the Divisional Police Officer in that area. We are working to get the details, but I can tell you that investigation has commenced.
“We will get to the root of the matter and fish out those behind the attack and ensure they face justice,” Iringe-Koko said.

Education / Rt. Hon. Ehie Edison And His Responsibilities In His Constituency, by Notjustzaki(m): 9:14am On Sep 11, 2022
Rt. Hon. Ehie Edison and his Responsibilities in his Constituency,

Due to the knowledge of services offered by various levels of government and community groups, Rt. Hon. Ehie Ogerenye Edison MHA and Deputy Speaker is uniquely qualified to help constituents resolve their problems.

Hon. Edison has the excellent interpersonal skills to understand and defend his constituents’ interests. He is always there with the needed skills like a social worker to effectively solve constituents’ pressing personal problems.

He often acts as a mediator to resolve a clash of interests within his constituency. He usually advocates on behalf of his community and explains the provisions and effects of legislation to his people. He is often called upon to play a public role during local events and ceremonial occasions.

Recently, he has shown more capacity in his constituency by raising the bar high for members. This gesture, is not the first, not the second but countless times he has always shown support for his constituency. This time, God has used him to help as many that are beneficiary to the laudable project. The Cars given to some can be used for commercial purposes like Bolt, Uber etc. Some where given Hair dressing materials, Sewing machines, Refrigerators, Generators and Cash gifts worth millions of Naira. Indeed, this is a very effective empowerment.

Thank you the Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon Edison Ogerenye Ehie representing the good people of Ekpeye.
You’re a leader every other leaders should emulate.

Education / Inside Assembly, The Road To The R/S House Of Assembly With Victor Oko Jumbo by Notjustzaki(m): 9:24am On Jul 20, 2022
INSIDE ASSEMBLY!

The road to the Rivers State house of Assembly is long, expensive, and exhausting. Becoming a candidate is only the beginning of the election process. Successful candidates must both persuade voters that they deserve their individual votes and garner the critical votes of electors in the for coming 2023 general elections.

This period, electorates might not be looking at political parties, but will be dealing with individual capabilities and trust. So many have served, so many have delivered in their services to their constituencies and some were not able to meet the expectations of the residents of their constituency.

Comr Victor Oko Jumbo was a student union leader whom excellently performed in his struggle as a leader of the community of students and giving him this unique opportunity to represent the good people of Bonny constituency will definitely bring about the changes you'd like to see at the constituency.

The era of Ballots Box Snatching or stealing of votes is over, INEC is set out to deliver and are up to the task. Voting is probably the most fundamental responsibility that a patriotic citizen of any democratic society can discharge in the interest of his community, family, himself and his compatriots.

Your part of Nigeria’s democratic deal is to vote and ensure that your vote is counted.

I join Comr Victor Oko Jumbo to solicit the support of Bonny populace for a positive representation.

Dr. Dax Alabo George-Kelly FNIQS, Gifts Rivers State Students a Sienna Vehicle as New Year Gift.

January 8, 2022

…Demands responsible leadership from student activists.

The Special Assistant on Special Projects and Head Bureau for Special Project to the Governor, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Friday 7th January, 2022 overwhelmed the Rivers State Students' Executive with a vehicle as gift, charging them to be responsible in the defence of Rivers State students' interests.

Dr. George Kelly, through Chief Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, Dean of Student Affairs and a former National President of NURSS, presented a Toyota Sienna Vehicle to NURSS at the Union’s National Secretariat in Port Harcourt.

According to him, the "gesture would ease the movement of the National Officers of the Union and enable them to discharge their duties effectively."

He urged the National President, Comr. Levi Zachariah George to keep faith with the students and to properly maintain the vehicle so that others coming to serve after him can also use the vehicle.

A former National President, Comr. Patrick Ogbuehi Esq., who attended the presentation, thanked the Governor and SA on Special Projects for their support to the NURSS leadership and advised the President on the maintenance and effective use of the vehicle.

The President Comr. Levi Zachariah George in his remarks, thank God for the precious gift and thanked Dr. Dax Alabo George-Kelly for his unstoppable support for the Rivers State Students as evident recently in his facilitation of the Governor's building a Secretariat for it to carry out its activities which is the first of its kind in the history of the Union.

Today he has given the Union this gift as he had earlier promised during its Leadership Program at the unions Secretariat on August, 27th 2021. In the words of the President: “I want take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to still get interested in the activities of the future leaders. I also thank God for His gift of Life to you. May your heart desires come through, I wish to say that this vehicle will be maintained as my personal property and handed over to the new administration for effective mobility of the unions activities.
Thank you, the Principal“.

Education / Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike Bringing Political Experience And Legal Exper by Notjustzaki(m): 9:13am On Sep 09, 2021
Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike Bringing Political Experience and Legal Expertise to Governance

Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation. Gov Wike is well prepared for this task, little wonder the record breaking achievements with slim allocation from our central dining table (Federal allocation)

Governor Wike has over time said he prepared for the very exalted office and his emergence was not by chance or a wishful thinking but a product of commitment, focus and hardwork.

This man is ahead of his time, always taking pragmatic steps to bring about economic stabilisation of the State while championing the cause for national economic restructuring.

The struggle is no longer through the usual Gun battle like the days of Niger Delta resource control agitation but through the Law of the Land(the Constitution) and we can see the results already shaking the faulty foundation of our parasitic marriage.

Only a man that is not a regular Abuja midnight Governor can take this dogged and purpose driven steps for the economic emancipation of his people.

The Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) is running from pillar to post looking for shortcut to continue the economic bondage of some states while feeding others fat, enough of robbing peter to pay lazy paul

According to Gov Wike, you can't destroy beer in your state in the name of sharia yet share from VAT on beer from other states. It is hypocrisy.
Free money has promoted laziness. If you want to be a governor grow your state's economy.

If we must support financial autonomy for the judiciary and the legislature then states must be allowed to function optimally. Federating states must be allowed to collect VAT.

Every patriotic Rivers man should jettison partisan politics and support the Governor for this economic freedom.

Education / Safeguarding The Garden City Against Flooding: A Clarion Call./soye Maxwell by Notjustzaki(m): 7:59pm On Sep 05, 2021
Safeguarding The Garden City Against Flooding: A Clarion Call.

The Nigeria Meteorological Agency, NiMet, warned of slim chances of flash floods across 34 states of the federation including Rivers State.

As we all know, the main cause of flooding in Nigeria is heavy rains. Although this may be natural, it is almost impossible to stop it, especially when global warming puts the world at risk as a result of the continues depletion of the Ozone layer due to activities of greenhouse gases. I can tell you for free as an environmentalist that most of the other factors that cause flooding are man-made (anthropogenic factors) and therefore can be avoided.

Over the years it has been an annual tradition by the Rivers State Government through the ministry of works to carryout steady desilting of our canals for effective flow of water to mitigate for the perennial flood in parts of our city and has resulted to the instantaneous drying up of the flash floods.

As can be seen in some parts of the state where the state government has constructed new drainage system while opening up and expanding existing drains in areas like the popular NTA Road, Old GRA and the disilting of most part of the drainage system in Mile 4 Ikwerre road down and the Ntawogba creek.

Safeguarding our city is a collective thing as citizens. How do we see people building in waterways or dumping garbage down drains? Let us support the government by cleaning out our drains and properly disposing our waste. With unity of purpose we can achieve a flood free state

“Floods are ‘acts of God,’ but flood losses are largely acts of man.”
Gilbert White.

Rivers State is our state, let's collectively make it better.

Education / Demolition Of Trans-amadi Slaughter Market Long-overdue -/-soye Maxwell by Notjustzaki(m): 3:34pm On Sep 02, 2021
Demolition of Trans-amadi Slaughter Market Long-overdue

Exactly a month ago during the state Executive Council meeting headed by the Executive Governor of Rivers State, approval was given for the relocation and demolition of the trans-amadi slaughter market, with the hope of erecting a more befitting project that will match the ongoing renovation of the popular port harcourt zoo.

A period of one month was given to occupants and those doing business to move out giving way for a NEW Project.

As expected it was given an ethnic colouration but for the quick response from the commissioner for agriculture Hon. Fred Kpakol who said the closure of the Oginigba slaughter market is not targeted at any ethnic group but is in line with the state goverment's urban renewal program.

Just this morning we saw news of the demolition taking place after the expiration of the one month notification and I could imagine the massive outpouring of encomium on Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike over the demolition of that criminal den called slaughter market .

You will agree with me that the hitherto slaughter market was not a place for the weak, except you don't reside or do business around there. This was the same place rivers state task force members and a serving Commissioner was beaten by people believed to be "The Untouchables "

It was a place of refuge for criminals, arms dealers and notorious armed robbers. In one of my life threatening experiences it took the intervention of an high ranking leader to rescue me from the hands of those robbers, one could imagine what would have happened.

On this one we are with you The Project Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Ezenwo Wike. Sustaining the peace and progress of the state is key.

Education / Speech By Comr. Levi Zachariah George Nurss Nat'l President During The Internati by Notjustzaki(m): 12:02am On Aug 29, 2021
SPEECH GIVEN BY THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT COMR. LEVI ZACHARIAH GEORGE, NATIONAL UNION OF RIVERS STATE STUDENTS (NURSS) NATIONAL SECRETARIAT, IN COMMEMORATION OF THIS YEAR’S INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION 2021, 27TH AUGUST.

PROTOCOLS

Words are not enough to express how genuinely excited we are to have favourite people in the world here with us as we start this special commemorative event of the international youth Day.

Thank you very much for joining us and being such an important part of this program. We will cherish the memories that will emanate from this day for the rest of our lives and we are extremely happy to have you in them.

International Youth Day is celebrated annually on 12 August to bring youth issues to the attention of the international community and celebrate the potentials of youth as partners in today’s global society.

The Day gives an opportunity to celebrate and mainstream young peoples’ voices, actions and initiatives, as well as their meaningful, universal and equitable engagement. It was established by the UN General Assembly, which on 17 December 1999, endorsed the recommendation made by the World Conference of Ministers Responsible for Youths, calling for 12th August to be declared International Youth Day which has been celebrated by the state Government through the Ministry of Youths Development but the Leadership of NURSS deemed it necessary to bring such an event to the students community, knowing that students are the must populated youths in the world.

The 2021 theme for International Youth Day (IYD) is: Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health, calling attention to the need for development of more equitable and resilient food systems, to restore the planet and protect life, while integrating biodiversity in the transformation of food systems.

Some considerations related to this year’s theme:
• The connection between food systems and young people with indigenous roots and ancestors. Indigenous people have valuable expertise in sustainable processes and the use of local resources.

The use of local resources boosts local trade and employment, which is critical in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery.
Farming offers the young generation a chance to make a difference by growing enough food to feed the world.

Those who become farmers now have the opportunity to be the generation that end world hunger and alleviate malnutrition, as well as helping the sector adapt to climate change.

In order to improve youth involvement in agricultural production and processing in Nigeria, attention should be given to the factors leading to youth migration to urban areas. In addition, the economic constraints facing youth in agriculture (lack of credit, weak profitability, capacity constraint, etc) should be examined.

Youth should be trained on modern ways of agriculture and agri-business immediately after high school, after the training, those who choose to start an enterprise should be funded and encouraged while those who choose to work should be placed in farms of those who choose to create enterprises, that way their knowledge is used to build their businesses and that way it becomes sustainable and money realized from the business will be used to further their education in any course of study they choose.

In addition, youths who are currently into agriculture should be encouraged and honoured so that others will take interest in agriculture. We can only reduce youth unemployment in Nigeria through sustainable agriculture, if we want do things right. We can never expect the same results, when we do the same things!

Organizations and governments name buildings after people, living or dead, to commemorate their lives or generosity, though government buildings most often bear the names of deceased notables but today we will name this beautiful edifice after Living Legends, former National Presidents of our dear NATIONAL UNION OF RIVERS STATE STUDENTS (NURSS) WORLDWIDE .

I hereby, on behalf of Rivers State Students and the Mandate given to me as the NAT'L President National Union of Rivers State Students - NURSS World-wide Media name this Building after Hon. Dax George-Kelly NURSS NATIONAL SECRETARIAT (ALUTA BUILDING), Prof. Isaac Zeb-obipi MULTI PURPOSE Hall, PST. Amakuro Amakiri CAFETERIA and Comr. Barr. Patrick Ogbuehi ICT CENTRE.

This is following their developmental Strides in the Students Community.

I once again welcome you to this year’s students/youth Day celebration, 2021.

God bless Nigeria,
God bless Rivers State
God bless Rivers State Students,

Education / Insecurity In Nigeria, A Land Taken Over By Bandits; by Soye Maxwell by Notjustzaki(m): 8:12am On Aug 25, 2021
Insecurity in Nigeria, a land taken over by Bandits under a General

It is worthy to note that the present Federal Government led by President Muhamadu Buhari rode into Power with the mantra of salvaging the Nation from the security challenges that long bedeviled the northern part of the country due to the activities of the dreaded Boko Haram terrorist.

Today we don't just have Boko Haram, we now have a more dreaded militia group known as Bandits whose activities has continued unchallenged, wielding more power and authority with large chunk of money gotten as proceeds from several kidnaps, robbery and loot.

It is on record that banditry alone claimed 906 lives, which made it the highest cause of killings in the country and followed by Boko Haram attacks claiming 207 lives in Nigeria while kidnapping recorded 1, 774 abductees within January and March 2021

In the first quarter of 2021, Nigeria continued to experience inordinately high incidents of armed violence across the country, with very high body counts. Record shows that at least 1603 persons lost their lives to mass atrocities across the country from January to March 2021.

some northern state governors now appease criminal groups by paying fat ransoms to kidnappers, and offering cash-back to bandits in exchange for their weapons and assurance of security.
What more defines a failed state and total lost of trajectory of a country.

A nation on autopilot, how well would one describe a nation where alleged repentant terrorist are given the presidential treatment and enlisted into the country's military with the supposed
responsibility of protecting vital national interests and support of the national security and defense strategies, just like the Talibans of Afghanistan, I hope the disbanded Boko Haram terrorist and Bandits overtime don't overrun the country's military outfits due to the wide security information gathered from perceived repentant terrorist.

The Nigerian defence academy, a place perceived to be the safest place in Kaduna was just yesterday invaded by this same untouchable Bandits (where is the place of intelligence gathering), killing two and kidnapping a Major, who has been confirmed dead after a demand of 200m as ransom, what then is the fate of the majority of nigerians in the face of this assault, it is indeed a pity seeing a retired General bereft of strategic war plans.

We can't continue to keep quiet in the face of this terror terrorising our nation, Our Failed retired General should immediately explore other strategies and restore the already shattered and battered hope of nigerians.

Today the relative peace we enjoy in Rivers State is as a result of the purpose driven, objective and strategic leadership of the Nyesom Ezenwo Wike(NEW), led administration, fulfilling his campaign promise of providing security for the lives and property of Rivers people, little wonder why people yearn for a NEW leader at the center.

As the Political gladiators battle for 2023, it is pertinent to state that Rivers people are with NEW, a man who has brought development and peace to Rivers State.
