Politics / Re: Why We Resorted To Borrowing – Buhari by OBUKSBAYELSA: 10:18am On Sep 16, 2020 |
Polchiz: Firstly, it was the mistakes of our leaders and elites, the likes of Obasanjo, Soyinka, Prof Ango Abdullahi etc. Secondly our youthful generation between the ages of 18 and 35years who never met or saw Buhari in 80's but were told fairytale about the man who can kill corruption and decimate Boko Haram. Alas here we are, the young men and ladies were not told that Buhari is a one way traffic and hold fastidiously to old economic beliefs and does not change or think outside the box. That's how we got to this level. 1 Like |

Mr President! you and your team simply lack the capacity to think outside the box. The adage" He who goes borrowing goes sorrowing" captures the sorry State of our Fatherland. |

mosdii: mosdii I will not respond to you until after the October 31st Senatorial Election by that time, the Supreme Court would have finally endorse His Excellency Senator Douye Diri as Governor of Bayelsa State and your initial Gra-Gra go don come down, at that point we will know owns the people's mandate. |
Politics / Re: Bayelsa Guber: Court Fixes September 23 To Hear Diri’s Appeal Against Sack by OBUKSBAYELSA: 6:33pm On Sep 14, 2020 |
For those who are political masturbators, who believe that Bayelsa State would be handed over to CULTIST who neither have the intellectual capacity or capabilities to lead the State, I say to you THINK AGAIN, God has a different PLAN. Senator Douye Diri remains Governor of Bayelsa State. 2 Likes 1 Share |

mosdii: mosdii I don't wish to join issues with you at this point in time but let me remind you APC did not win any election in Bayelsa State. This assertion would be proven to you and likes during the Senatorial Election. Stop living in the past. 1 Like 1 Share |

garfield1: My Broda garfield, like I mentioned in one of my post, It will be easier for an elephant to pass through the eye of a needle than for Ebebi to win Bayelsa West except God wills. Similarly, Cleopas will overwhelm Femowei. |

Politics / Re: Ex Gov Dickson, cleopas Wins Bayelsa Senate Pdp Primaries by OBUKSBAYELSA: 10:08pm On Sep 07, 2020 |
fergie001: Seriake and Cleopas will defeat the duo of Ebebi and Femowei. In truth Ebebi is quite likeable, but the mathematics do not Favor him it will be like the case of an elephant passing through the eye of a needle, only God miracle can make Ebebi win. As to Bayelsa Central I said, Femowei comes into the race with a lot of baggages and may face disqualification as a result of his past records which are in the public domain. Secondly, people tend to believe that Southern Ijaw will throw it's vote to Femowei as against Cleopas both of them come from different wards, kingdoms and clans. Finally people comment as if Yenagoa and Kolokuma-Opokuma Lgas do not count. let's watch how it plays out |
Politics / Re: CNPP, Rep Congratulate Odey For Picking PDP Ticket For Cross River North Electio by OBUKSBAYELSA: 11:47pm On Sep 06, 2020 |
There are issues to be sorted out amongst the aspirants, CNPP should be circumspect on matters of this nature and not to cause upheaval in PDP thereby giving unmerited advantage to APC. |

JAMO84: When Buhari Government went on a borrowing spree without using the borrowed money for anything tangible to rev up the economy, did they not remember that prices of crude was falling? like Elder Adebanjo of Afenifere noted; The Buhari gang has fleece our country more than Abacha. Let APC and the Government keep borrowing everyday for the thief one day for the owner of the house. Please read through the Tribune News report before commenting and to be honest that the problem of APC and the Government; they don't think through policies before implementation and at the end they fail. very soon they BORROW Nigeria and Nigerians out. Good Afternoon. 33 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Bayelsa Senatorial Bye Elections:ebebi, ebifemowei Emerges As Apc Candidates by OBUKSBAYELSA: 3:51pm On Sep 05, 2020 |
AAA593: That's the surprise thrown up by the APC primary in the person of Abel Femowei (Osuo). The truth is that all these are moves towards the 2023 Governorship Election which will be between David Lyon who backed Barrister Festus and Timi-pre Sylva who backed Abel Femowei. Abel Femowei comes into this race with a lot of baggages and I see disqualification. |

Politics / Re: APC Bayelsa Central Senatorial District Aspirant. by OBUKSBAYELSA: 1:10pm On Sep 01, 2020 |
ORIENTATION101: You are right ORIENTATION101, Am a big sympathiser of PDP so is Garfield a man associated with multiple identity in Nairaland is sympathetic to the cause of APC, this is no cause for concern all you need do is analyse a situation as dispassionately as possible. I remember I came out recently to say that it's very unlikely that Jegede PDP candidate will win Ondo State reason being that he prevaricated in the selection of his Deputy, it shows him as a weak mind.Agboola was supposed to be his pick. He will come 3rd in the election. On the Bayelsa Central Senatorial Election PDP will win because of the attendant crisis that will follow the APC primaries. Between Bobou Obolo and Pastor Cleopas one will win the Senatorial Election, as for Bar Festus fatanstic guy but he won't make it. |

fergie001: Garfield is an extremely emotional person so am not surprised that he wants me not to comment. However, to the issue at stake, the APC Bayelsa Central Senatorial primary present a Similarity to what happened during the Governorship primary of the PDP, in the sense that all the contestants of the APC are all OLOTUS, but three contestants stand out they are Chief Tiwei, Amb Igali and the young lawyer who lost the Senatorial election to His Excellency Senator Douye Diri.My take is that the election would be between these three and anyone that gain the support of David Lyon will carry the day but that is not to write off domineering tendency of Timi-pre Sylva because the 2023 Governorship primary is going to be between David Lyon and Sylva. In all these the APC should be wary of Bobou Obolo if he gets the PDP ticket and emergent crisis in the APC then PDP will carry the day. let me stop for now. 1 Like |

Like others before him, he will fail and the reason is that these characters that Mr President is appointing do not have any relationship with the people they are suppose to lead. 1 Like |
