It should be noted that JAMB forms for previous years usually go on sale as from November. The delay in the Sale of 2017 JAMB Form is attributed to the change in JAMB leadership and determination by JAMB to limit middle men (cybercafes & business centres), and push down the cost of JAMB services, by introducing new payment methods.

An unpredicted incident occur today at 1:20pm West African time during a popular Ibibio market day activities called Urua Ederebo in Onna local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, when the section wall of the shops collapse on traders
Many goods were destroyed in the process, Only (Eight people were seriously injured and were rushed to Emmanuel General Hospital Eket,
an eye witnesses who was at the scene of the collapse told our reporters that it's unusual because no body expected such ugly incident.
Another eye witness said that no one lost their lives during the incident, but it was a shock to other women who hurriedly left the market and some scampered for their safety.
Our correspondence who visited the scene of the incident was prevented by the police from taking a snap shot and one unknown photographer was picked by the police and later released.
The youth Leader of the area, Mr Akpan Ubak who narrated the incident called on government intervention and assistance,
he told our correspondence that the structure has existed for more than five decades without repairs or maintenance
Others who questioned the real purpose of taxation in the market without maintenance or repairs lamented the state of poor infrastructure in the area including an epileptic power supply and goods worth millions of naira was lost in the incident
While Visiting the victims in Hospital, our correspondence was prevented from asking questions on the incident.
It was confirmed that 8 market women were seriously injured while a nursing mother and her baby was included but no life was lost as been reported by some section of the media except one of the victim who could not speak at the time filing this report.

An individual from a cult group was murdered, over the weekend, by an opponent cult group in Osogbo, Osun State, as cultists sacked and no less than seven cultists have been captured by Osun State Police Command.

There was an unmistakable pressure in Osogbo as adversary cultists chased their rivals, waving unsafe weapons, shooting sporadically and terrifying the inhabitants.

A resident of station Road said that members of a cult group killed a member of a rival group and that the other group also mobilised and retaliated same way.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Fimihan Adeoye, said only one person was killed and that the person that killed him has been identified and would be arrested.

Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani has donated some bags of rice and other food stuff to over 50 Christian widows and their families to celebrate the forthcoming Christmas.

Tijjani, a peace ambassador, made the donation to the widows at the Christ Evangelical Church Ministry in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna.

She said it was part of her efforts to strengthen peaceful co-existence among different faith-based organizations in the country and reduce the hardship most widows face.

The peace ambassador said that Christmas provides an opportunity for Muslims to demonstrate to their Christian neighbours that Islam is a religion of peace and love.

She also commended Pastor Yohanna Buru, the G.O of Christ Evangelical Church Ministry, for always distributing foods and drinks to IDPs, the destitute and inmates during Ramadan in past years.

He was always serving cooked foods and drinks to widows and orphans during sallah celebration also,Tijjani said. She said that Buru’s attitude was what impressed her to start rendering assistance to Christian widows as the Yuletide approaches.

Iyiola Kazeem (19) and Iyiola Rilwan (21) have been captured by the Ogun State Police Command for asserted furnished burglary at Oluwole Fagbote Street, Ota subsequent to assaulting Oluwafemi Imafidon and Yetunde, who lived with the suspects.

This horrible scenario happened yesterday 16th of December along 1004 lekki express Road,lagos.He was shot by a police officer in a patrol van chasing after him ;probably because the driver didn't stop while being chased. The said driver was harmless carrying passengers yet he was shot by the police officer and immediately the officer noticed his death,He ran away with his team and caused serious accident with other nearby vehicles.(Eye witness said)

This is a shame and disgrace to the NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE FOR HAVING OFFICERS WHO LACK DISCIPLINE, STUPID TEMPERAMENTS AND INABILITY TO APPREHEND SITUATIONS PROFESSIONALLY.
