Nonsense

All I see here are well trained soldiers that carried out their jobs efficiently

You do not impede the movement of soldiers who have a work to do. Especially if they tried to negotiate with the blockheads

God bless the Nigerian Army

.

Buhari isn't the judge so there's a limit to what he can do.

Dasuki will finally be granted bail just mark my words, they will never smell jail.

Hope you know these men are IBB conmen? and buhari won't like to dare IBB by sending his men to prison.

True sir. Buhari is not the judge but he is the HOS and we cannot discount his influence

Buhari's main selling point is his anti corruption mantra. He will pursue these issues to the end.

I do agree with you that IBB is a major factor. IBB is a fighter and a ruthless man. Just like Buhari, he doesn't talk much but with these revelations, Buhari has committed himself publicly. The world is watching and documenting all the evidence.

This is beyond IBB now. He can only ensure he is not personally affected but he cannot stop the process. Dasuki and Dokpesi are smart enough never to involve IBB.

Dokpesi and IBB are 5 and 6. I knew from the beginning that this case won't go far.

You can't send the elites to prison in this country...NEVER!!! even the judge knows that.

I disagree

You have to factor one person. Buhari!

He is a vicious man. He has one weakness, he is unrelentingly stubborn and will pursue an agenda till conclusion.

I can assure you now, unless Dokpesi jumps bail, he is going to jail. Dasuki is definitely going to jail and same with a lot of these guys.

My only problem with Buhari is his inability to effectively multitask as a leader.

"Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court said Mr. Dokpesi should be granted bail on the condition that he provides two sureties with N200 million each."

Please, the money must be provided to the court. That's the whole meaning of bail na.

No sir

However, the Judge most probably put the bail at N200M intentionally. The civil servant that acted as a surety will likely face investigations. We just need to wait till the details are released. For instance, IBB could have done it and trust me, there is nothing EFCC can do
Politics / Re: BREAKING: Dokpesi Released From Kuje Prison by okolochyke: 9:50pm On Dec 16, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:

No sir, the money for bail must be paid to the court. It is the landed properties that must be shown to the court. Thanks

Barca are you sure?

Please do some research on this

The courts do not require the provision of physical cash.

Sureties only need to show that they have the capacity to pay the bail money if the accused violates bail conditions.

Chiarman, sheby na work me and you dey do so? Which civil servant made 200million legitmately And the second surety, which investor get straight 3 consecutive years tax payment for naija? We all know how non-existent nigeria tax system is, to mean he met the necessary bail is a sham, a big lie I won't believe, they can tell me he was bailed on another terms but certainly isn't this sir.

My Oga we are saying the same thing

It was a trap and some people have fallen for it. Dont be surprised if it is later revealed that the second surety (investor) is his son.

Whatever, the two sureties don buy EFCC market

N200m is peanuts to some federal perm secretaries. Some directors of finance can cough out that money in a sec.

Bros N200m is chicken change to a lot of government workers, even Local government chairmen have far more than that. But can you justify such amount considering your salary scale/entitlements?
Politics / Re: BREAKING: Dokpesi Released From Kuje Prison by okolochyke: 9:04pm On Dec 16, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:

Nigeria is a funny country. How did a civil servant legitimately bring out N200m to pay as bail money. How did he make such money? How much is his annual salary? I think EFCC should move in

He doesnt need to provide the funds ooo

He/she only needs to show that he/she has the capital i.e. property, shareholdings etc

Still The surety has a lot of explaining to do. I think we should wait for the identity of the surety to surface

From today!!!! Bros I hereby denounce every support I've got for this government as regards corruption, cause its evident enough its all mouth! Lord knows how irritated I am to see dopeksi on tv tonight, the whole case is a smokescreen then, it will die naturally like the sarakis et al cases.

Bros be smart and think

The government cannot detain him indefinitely. Once he has met the requirements of bail conditions, they have to let him go

Investigations and prosecution is still ongoing.

This is not a military government where they can detain accused persons as long as they want.

We'll like to know the two civil servants that stood surety. They must explain how they acquired N200m each and also how they got landed properties in like sum.

Barcanista

Only one of the sureties is required to be a civil servant.

We would still like to the identity of the individual and I am sure EFCC is even more interested

I just cannot believe that this useless party have the nerve to open their mouth and talk. In saner countries, the party would have been disbanded by now.

You squandered the commonwealth of this country and transferred it to private accounts. There is no doubt that this country would have been decimated if PDP had won the election.

Even in the face of these revelations and allegations, these animals still have the audacity to postulate on governance?

Olisa Metuh is a desperately corrupt man who knows that it is only a matter of time before he is picked up by EFCC.

The junior officers were trying to protect their bosses.

If any of those general had been hurt, those officers would have faced the military court and even dismissed from the army.

Kudos to those three star generals that swallowed all their pride and rights to plead with those lunatics. I'm ready proud of them. They deserve an award. Nigerian army generals of 1900-2014 would never ever have done so grin

Blocking the convoy of a whole chief of army staff. Chai !! Madness !!

You are right.

Without the intervention of the Senior officers, it would have been far bloodier.

Younger officers are trigger happy, it wont take them 10 minutes to level the whole place. The fact that they spent 10 minutes negotiating with the Shiites is commendable

The same people trying to blame the Soldiers would have been the ones to mock them if they've have been killed by those matchete and arms bearing miscreants.
Soldiers are not exactly trained to be civil, they are trained to be aggressive and kill if need be in the process of defending the integrity and sovereignty of Nigeria and the COAS is one of the symbol of Nigerian sovereignty .

Exactly!

At the beginning of the video, the junior officers were ready to shoot but I heard instructions from the senior officers asking them to stand down.

The army was very patient with them

The OP and other Ekpa people can continue to deceive themselves

Facebook has over 1 billion users globally

Nigerian Facebook users are well over 20 million. You cannot put up 20 comments and tell us that it represents the feelings of Nigerians

It is even more ridiculous when 90% of those making the comments are from one section of the country.

Those people do not represent the majority of Nigerians. This is a fact.

The majority of Nigerians are still trying to take in the enormity of the corruption that took place under Jonathan.

The people complaining here are most likely Ipob youths who do not like Nigeria anyway.
