See picture of when I first collected it. Although you can chose to doubt but CashToken is real and whatever the doubt, it won't change the experience of those that have been lucky to win. I am even the WhatsApp group of those that won in the last edition. The moment you win a grand prize, you are added to a CashToken winners group when you pick your prize. I have pals that won jumia vouchers and cash prizes too. Na luck.

I have been getting this kind of messages for a while now. Is mtn Nigeria part of this.
Is mtn aware

Yes MTN is aware. This was what won me a brand new Samsung Galaxy S22 8gb ram 256gb rom variant last year September. @Genius43 can testify.

Redmi 12 is supposed to be a low end device. Some features have to be stripped off either so the device can run smoothly or to differentiate it from higher decides. I know of some low end Samsung galaxy A series that doesn't have the cast/mirror feature.

Yeah, and it indeed made those devices faster and smooth.

Especially the 13C.

I used RN7, then RN10s and now R13c.......I must say that R13c is an upgrade of RN7, it is good for gaming and when charged it can last 24 hours on somewhat heavy use (I play DLS, stream music via Deezer, surf the net, most apps use background data.....2 whatsapp, X, tiktok and the likes) and the ba3 still tries.

It doesn't lag like them transsion.

On camera aspect, it is good for taking pictures also, I don't use gcam and I still enjoy the camera....it also charges fast.

It is a good budget phone, try getting 6gb or 8gb ram.....I love the phone, you can check the net for more reviews and check for yourself.

For now, I will rate it 8.5/10 over RN7......the rating might increase over time.

What font are you using bro?

For more than 6 days Gomoney has been down with customer money trapped.
was thinking I was the only one using it (I have over a million Naira there).

I went to Instagram seeing lots of people using them for either business or savings.

For the almost a week they've been sending generic emails and replies to angry customers.

What are both CBN and NDIC doing about this since they're both licensed under them.
Sterling bank is exonerating themselves from gomoney they claimed to own.

Please if you're a gomoney user kindly comment for way forward.

I tell people but nope, your money is safer with regular commercial banks. But no. I know person with over 7 million naira trapped there. He moved all his funds to those fintech banks and as left stranded. Person with millions dey beg for 3k.

Also, Sterling Bank was right to dispute the fact that they own GoMoney because they don't. They just partnered with GoMoney for card production.

Anyways you can continue ranting.

Do you know what factory resetting a phone means?
And I'm sure there's no update because he would have done that instead before resetting the phone.

No one is arguing with you. You clearly are not getting the point. You just blamed the issue on an update even though he didn’t say he updated his phone. That’s the onus of the discussion here. This won’t have gone far if you didn’t blame it on that. What type of doctor goes on to recommend a treatment without first examining the situation. You could have asked if he did an update and a suitable solution would be proffered but no, I am defending nonsense because I also have not had my own fair share of MIUI.

Oga he doesn't have to, I mean what could cause a phone to always hang after factory reset?
Bro I've used xiaomi before and i know how frustrating their update can be, stop defending nonsense.
Your point is inconsequential.
Do have a nice day.

Your point doesn’t invalidate mine. Who is defending nonsense. That I don’t often make comment on here about how trashy MIUI? Seems you don’t know me o. Just few days ago I trashed how bad MIUI is on the telegram group. So, if we come here to tackle you means we are either fanboys or defending nonsense. This person (me) you are even talking to doesn’t use a xiaomi device as his primary device. I’ve also used lots of xiaomi devices, flashed so many rom, tweaked and tinkered it. You might be new on this thread to not recognize me at all lol. Do have a nice day too.

What if he actually needs to update to rectify the issue?

You could have simply asked him to debloat or check for storage space.

Updating a phone is not death sentence

No mind the dude. Na those flash a custom rom to fix issues kinda people.

udemzyudex:

I'm still trying to understand what all this ranting is all about 🤷‍♂️.

You said it could be as a result of an app he installed but this guy said he did factory reset and it's still the same thing. You also talked about the buggy nature of MIUI which i already suggested he flash another ROM is is bootloader is unlock, probably with EU rom that had less bloat ware.

Actually, the reason for what you called ranting is because you just suggested boom that it was because of system update despite the fact that he didn’t state that he did a system update. There won’t even be a need to quote you if didn’t just attribute what he was facing to system update. Anyways, I’ve passed my point.
Phones / Re: ### Xiaomi Thread For Tweaking Of Phones & Help Spot ### by olayinkajnr(m): 12:59pm On Aug 28, 2023
udemzyudex:

Does he have to state that?
You say it could be anything, anything like what and what if i may ask?

Actually, he has to. You don’t have to assume it’s an update because in cases like this, assumption is wrong. That you hate to update your device doesn’t translate that once someone has an issue with their device, then automatically it is caused by an update. Leave the fact that you hate updating and stop discouraging others to update their devices.

The fact that his device is hanging whether he already did a factory reset or not could be as a result of an app he installed (yes, there are apps usually malware that can cause that), the buggy nature of MIUI and other things associated with that and not necessarily an update. I’m surprised that for someone supposedly vast in android tweaking and the likes, your first suspect is that an update caused it.

What do you think could be the cause even after a full reset?

And your suspicion was an update caused it even when the op didn’t state that he updated his phone? It could be anything but definitely not an update. As far as I’m concerned, the update on RN10P is good.

Igemburg:

Difficult to know tho, but if you are buying iphone from someone, ask for the person means of ID or anything that can show that his name correspond with the one on the icloud, ask him to sign out.

He should sign out of every account including itunes if available on the phone. Keep the ID and ask him to write an undertaking, then ask him to wipe the phone ( but ask him if the phone is network unlock or network bypassed. If it's network bypassed and he wipe it, it will lock again and that will be an issues as you will not want to buy again and he won't be happy after going through all that stress, although most iphone users don't know if their phone is network bypassed and the bypass is not working again for iphones unless they use chip).

Although iphone deal is very tricky, some are stolen at gun point and they will be asked to logout of the phone. I have seen a situation whereby a guy stole his friends iphone, he knew his friends icloud password, logout and sold it, it was when the friend track the phone with help of police, they trace it to the person using it, and the person using it bought it from a dealer that the thief sold it to, both the dealer and the new user paid good money to bail themselves. So it's kind of tricky jare. That's all I can say about iphone for now.

The best thing is, whether buying used iPhone in mint condition or new iPhone, buy it from authorized dealers. Make sure you collect your receipt. Check the signpost of the shop or dealer and make sure what is there tallies with what is on the receipt. I don’t usually subscribe to buying devices especially used from individual unless you trust them or know them very well.
Like someone said, majority of those used devices are stolen.

Other stuffs you said about collecting ID card and sighting one remains valid.

Xiaomi and always giving useless update.

If you have your bootloader unlock, I'll advice you go back to old previous update.

But at no point did he mention that he started experiencing that after an update.

Hahahaha there's a 32GB Kingston that a friend helped me got from the US in 2014, it's still super fast and efficient till date. I don't know what's wrong with those stuffs anymore, I see complaints everyday.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with those stuffs. It's just people buying substandard products and expecting them to work like the real deal. If one must use sd cards, close eyes and buy original. Those black sd cards with white inks on them are mostly fake.

This is something I have covered on my blog and our telegram channel.

https://inquisitiveuniverse.com/2022/09/03/why-you-should-format-your-microsd-card-before-use/

I'm going to go out on a limb and presume that you didn't format the card on the phone before using it. Formatting on a PC before sticking it in your phone doesn't count.

Possible solution.

Back up the data on the card and insert on your phone. Use the phone to format the card, and then use like that.

Precautions

- Avoid using the PC to format the card.
- Avoid removing the microSD from your phone without unmounting the card or turning the phone off completely.

Not forgetting the fact that the sd card might be fake. Those black sd cards can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Thank God for the SanDisk I got from @Jboixxx since 2018. Still working perfectly. Someone that saw me remove the sd card from my device days ago asked me to sell it to him for twice the amount I got it then.

Wow. Strange, and I have it on my Redmi 10C which is on Android 13, the setting has been there since during the Android 11 days sef.

That's because the miui version on Redmi 12C is the miui go edition. It's the stripped down version of MIUI.

The new control centre ain't on Redmi 12C. At least the 3gb and 4gb variant. Ain't sure of the 6gb ram variant.

Before u go see competent person inside bank, maybe u don start to dey scatter everywhere by den

At that point, there's nothing the girl can do. If it was the banks POS, the girl can easily detect if it was successful or not because it's centralised. But other banks or brands POS, it'll need to be logged and a response will have to be sent before she can ascertain if its successful or not. Other bank or brands POS are usually logged on dispense error logger, arbiter, updms, etc.

Usually, most failed POS transaction are usually reversed back to the account of the customer and if it doesn't go back, they are reversed back to the POS guys for onward reversal to the customer but trust the most of the POS guys to say they didn't get a reversal. Only thing that'll clear the air now is a statement of account from the POS guy.
