I just wanted you to know that some people have received theirs. But I honestly don't blame the present government. I mean their predecessors left the accounts in debt. They have to sort those things before new beginnings. Don't blame the people that have been in power for less than a year. Jonathan was there for 8 years, and didn't do anything. Some people have received for both December and January. The delay is mainly on January, most people received for December already.

Its annoying to hear that B'15 that were mobilized by November 2015 have only received as allowance the initial money they were given in camp.

DECEMBER 2015 ALLOWANCE= NIL and JANUARY 2016 ALLOWANCE = NIL

So how they have been surviving in a strange land between December and now still remains a mystery! It is obvious that the economic state of the country is greatly responsible for NYSC's inconsistency and unnecessary procrastination.

Financial planning and saving should take a top priority in our preparation for mobilization and service year.

Dunno abt edo but ekiti state standard of living is low but very dry if you are not posted to ado and ikere ekiti. nah boredom go kill you. i've been to ikole, emure, ise, aramoko etc very boring. trust me but if you posted there be ensured that you wont be spending 5k out of 19500 cos they would practically be feeding you if you are lucky. Ekiti people(including my mom) are the most hospitable in Nigeria

ogun, ogun and i repeat ogun. ogun is div into four egba, yewa, ijebu, and remo.
ijebu: nice, standard of living is moderate but electricity not that good.
yewa: nicest place, it near border so things are super cheap esp in ilaro and owode, moreover sango,ifo and ewekoro(industrialized area) are all in yewa.
remo: shagamu is only better place. trust me. remo is boring but her standard of living is low too.
egba: most exciting but avoid being posted to institution area like camp, osiele and adigbe.

I don't know about Polytechnic students. But yes, the question is how many first class graduates do we even have?

Sokoto is ok. Peaceful and cheap. But the weather is terrible. Too hot, too cold , too dusty etc. If you get lucky and you're posted to the city its fine. If not, its not that good

I disagree with this. Yes Osun has villages, every state does. But the villages in Oyo state are not as good as some in Osun. The power supply and water is nothing to write home about. Even ifon Erin has better power supply.

nb: i've been to almost everywhere in osun and i can say categorically that industry wise oyo is far better osun while ogun is better than oyo

That's a lie. Its either those people don't go out, or they don't know places. I have been to over 5 clubs, even bars, hotels with swimming pools that are affordable, eateries. Yes, it lacks cinemas and big places like shop rite and the likes. But the little it has isn't doing bad.

You cannot survive with 19800. Its too expensive, traffic is terrible, its crowded and noisy, amongst others. And most schools reject people so you might not even get ppa in time. You'll spend over half of your allowance on transportation, other half on food.

Anybody that wants Lagos must have a tangible reason. It's not like u will just wake up and say I Wanna serve in lag only of u wanna go suffer your self. These nysc people don't have a great laid down plan for us. U can't say because of fun or how civilised the state is I Wanna go dere. U will finish the 1 year and see that u still in the same place. At this rate naija is going companies are releasing workers.. No jobs. We have to think with the 19800 we will be receiving 1st. That's even if dey pay it on time. And just know how to improve oneself.
