Your best bet is to stay with a traditional bank...they are regulated by CBN and you know where their head office is located!

Most of those digital companies lie a lot, they will be showing you online account dashboards with fake or non-existent account balances meanwhile their MD and his top lieutenants will be using depositors funds to flex life.

Anything that concerns your life savings make sure you only entrust it to a bank that is regulated!

Payments should be based on each outfit made, then you two can mutually agree if it'll be daily, weekly or monthly pay

Nobody borrowed money with the intention not to pay. It is the criminal behaviours of this loan companies that made some people to refuse to pay.

You cannot blackmail me, abuse my privacy, and assassinate people's character and at the end expect them to pay.

Someone took loan ,and to pay with interest, because he couldn't meet up at the stipulated time, after some days you start harassing and destroying the person ,meanwhile the loan keeps reading interests on daily basis ,and after doing that, you expect to be paid with all those interests coupled with the blackmail? It won't work.

Why putting daily interest in the first place? Because they know there definitely will be late repayment, since they know that, why still going about destroying the person when there is a delay in repayment?
Some persons have lost jobs, contracts, and opportunities because of those messages, and defamation. How do you now expect such a person to meet up with the payments after destroying them

They've probably had lots of cases of unpaid loans hence their resolve to go the cruel way

Either ways, I still don't see how this helps them in retrieving their funds
Nairaland / General / How Effective Is The Threats From Online Loan Company? by Oluwainnie(f): 9:17am On Nov 16, 2021
I'm not sure Nigeria as a country is ready to take on an online loan service

Because why on earth would a loan company be sending messages about how one person borrowed money and has refused to pay back

Was I there when this transaction was carried out so why am I included when it's time to pay back.

On a normal day why would you borrow money and refuse to pay back sef at stipulated time??

That's practically the same attitude humans use in real life and you take the same thing even to a loan company and those ones will start sending SMS up and down

Most times I don't even know the person being referred to.

My concern now is when this defaulters don't pay up, any idea on how this loan company retrieve their money??

How reliable is a tracking system?

Or is it just the same supposed threatening SMS and robotic calls that they do?

what's your opinion I would love to know
Business / Re: How To Recover Funds From Accounts Of Deceased Loved Ones. by Oluwainnie(f): 7:24pm On Nov 15, 2021
Sammyfabulous:
Hmm... I remember going through this same process after I lost my dad last year, I vowed not to use a lawyer after several lawyers were demanding outrageous fees. I did everything myself although I really suffered but just thinking about what my dad left I couldn't just imagine suffering for the rest of my life. LOA na die, PFAs frustrated me, travelled to PENCOM abuja several times I was on their neck ehn. Thank God.

Anyone( if you're the one legally entitled and got all the required documents) about to start this process now shouldn't give up, yes you will be frustrated to back out but if you put all your efforts you'll be paid all the money either in the bank or from the RSA account. Don't let anyone discourage you, people are collecting millions

Warning: if you're not the legal beneficiary to what the deceased left behind and you try playing a smart one you'll be caught and death with, the process is slow and requires so much verification at every angle right now.

How long did it take to get it ?

My fellow NL'er, pls has anyone heard about Food Hygiene Initiative of Nigeria (FHIN)? Cos I applied for it, and I was shortlisted for the training exercise(after paying #30,000 for the form and processing fee), now they are demanding another #65,000 for training and uniform fee.
* How genuine is it?
* Has anyone done this before?
* Is there anyone already benefiting from the job?
* What is their monthly pay like?

Pls help a brother out.

Thanks all.

Family / Healthy Family Tea by Oluwainnie(f): 9:39am On Jul 30, 2020
The weather was freaking cold as usual this morning and for an unknown reason I didn't boil water.

I decided to proof bravery with cold water.

My head was screaming Abort! Abort! Like those guys in a movie would do when they get set up, but I still went ahead.

The water felt warm in the hand, but it was very icey on the body.

I screamed, sang, waited then finally had a cold water bath after what seems like ages.

I applied little balm at strategic places, and had a hot cup of coffee to warm up my system.

P.S The coffee is decaffeinated, so it doesn't hinder your sleep but rather help you boost your immune system.

Would you be willing to boost your immune system through a healthy tea, let me know in the comment box /DM
