Hi Cooladex,

Although there is nothing God cannot do, however, I am in the University of Sask and I'll advise that she defers her admission to Winter 2022 so that you must have built the bank account well by then.

It will end in praise.

Yemisi

Cooladex:

Thanks for the advice. She got accepted for 'Educational management' ( Thesis based )

Yeah. You can. But you might have to start answering a lot of questions at the point of entry. They want to be sure that you don't have contact with older people or even anyone.

Hello All,
For those who are traveling to Canada.
Please can you do your remaining 11days Isolation in a family friend’s house in Canada?

Hi Yk45, I sent my passport to Abuja VFS even though my biometric in 2019 was done in Lagos.

2) I only used UPS and in my opinion, they were so fast.By the way, I paid for two-way courier.

3) Yeah, that slip that was attached to the photocopy of your data page. That is the biometric slip.

I hope these answers clarifies your questions.

IT WILL SURELY END IN PRAISES.

♡Yemisi♡

Yk45:
1. Did you send your passport to Abuja VFS or Lagos VFS.

2. Between DHL and UPS. Which one is preferable?

3. I did my biometrics in 2019, I wasn't given a yellow slip, mine was blue. Is it the same Please?

Hi Tohbieee, I was in your shoes as at two days ago. I was confused because I got my passport back on Monday and didn't see counterfoil and LOI.

But, as at yesterday evening, my counterfoil dropped and this morning around 9am, the LOI dropped too.

So, in my opinion, you don't need to send any mail. Just wait for them. I am pretty sure the backlog is as a result of Covid.

IT HAS ENDED IN PRAISES.

Tohbieee:
Hi guys,

Please its been 4 days since I received my passport stamped. However, no counterfoil or LOI. Please which office can I send an email to inform them about this.

Thank you.

Credit to Olasubomy.
See attached for details.

Klianud:

Please what exactly do you need to send them when they send a PPR to your profile. Also how do you go about the payments and how many payments are there. Is the payment made to the courier service company or to vfs?. Please am asking for future references

With my experience with the University of Windsor in 2019, I got my full $6,000 CAD that I had made as initial deposit.

Just that since I paid using form A, the money wasn't up to my initial amount due to exchange rate that had gone up.

Edit: You must be able to show proof that you were refused visa.

IT WILL END IN PRAISE

Krissy01:
Hi guys so quick question when asking a uni. for a refund for your tuition deposit, does the money get paid back in full or are they going to remove some part of the money and give you the rest?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Oluwayemisi0507: 8:09am On Feb 26, 2021
I can't say if it made a difference in my application but I made my sponsor get an affidavit of support in my second application and I got approved.

I didn't have an affidavit in my first application.

Regardless, let us hear from the gurus. If they say it is compulsory, then you can get one, raise webform and attach.

IT WILL END IN PRAISES

@Olasubomy has explained something like this before.

Go to First bank to print the new statement and get them to issue a reference letter addressing it to the Canadian embassy, stating that they are not on the mybank statement list and that they are attesting that you have been banking with them for so so so years and
Your funds are genuine.

I hope this helps.

Iberisamuel90:

Pls resend ur papar first bank statement to them but write a letter to the VO explaining ur case.
First bank is not among the mybamkstatement system.

Letter of Sponsorship is far different from Statement of Purpose (SOP)
I will advise you write a good SOP and raise it via webform. Just as you have rightly said, it is the bedrock of your application. It is what convinces the VO.

allisgood:
Please when applying for my visa, there was no place for SOP but I submitted Letter of sponsorship where was stated-who my sponsor was, also talked about coming back after finishing my 2 year course.
What can be done as it seems SOP is important, please what can be done?
Submitted 11 December 2020
Biometrics 18 December
Submission confirmation 4 of February 2021

Paid first semester fees
9m in sponsor account

#16,700 plus additional #7430 for transmission fee if you didn't do your biometrics in Abuja.

Hello all,

I am asking for a friend.

Can a business Administration B.Sc graduate apply for M.Sc Public Administration in Canada.

Does it look like a deviation? Or does it correlate?

The explanation is based on humanitarian works he does e.g organising foods, clothes for children and teenagers.
He does not have any CAC document to back this up though.

Thank you as you reply me.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Oluwayemisi0507: 9:52pm On Jan 13, 2021
Thank you for the reference.

I will allow my applicationto play out itself.

JustMellow:

Hello Oluwayemisi0507,

Any tangible property that isn't economically generating revenue can't be counted as POF but rather more sufficient in the aspect of HT.

If you included other good HTs before, I think it may be better to allow your application play out. If not, you can send the receipt ONLY if you had made clear reference of the property in your already submitted letter. Otherwise, I see no reason sending it except you decide to include an LOE for easy clarification of its purpose/relevance to your personal situation and/or application.

You may as well approach a lawyer to help out with the Deed of Purchase/Transfer to support the receipt.

Best of Luck

Okay thanks a lot.

mcobex:
The plot of land in this case can only be used as home-tie (if it is yours or gifted to you by your sponsor). So no need including it in your app at this stage.

Please guys. Don't ignore my question. cry cry

Oluwayemisi0507:
Hello gurus in the house,

I have submitted my application and even started working on the NSE request that was sent to me.

However, I just found out that my sponsor has two plots of lands that she bought about five years ago but she only has receipts and they sum up to #400,000 only.

Can I raise a webform for this receipt? Does it not sound like a small amount?

If I can attach it, how do I go about explaining it as a strong financial aid

Looking forward to your responses.

Yaaaay. Glad to have you back o.
I just got my ielts result now. I wrote the CBT day before yesterday.
Kindly help me clarify if the bank statement for MBS is six months or 12 months.
In my own understanding, I believe they asked for a minimum of six months with at least 1 year of running the account but my friend is saying they meant one year bank statement.

Please help.

@Frankrobbin, I also sent an email in December. Please respond to it as my deadline is 16th. cry cry

Sigh sad has anyone had an update on the NSE stream? I submitted the requirements on the 16th of December with the deadline being the 30th and I haven't heard anything since then. My school resumes on January 11 and I'm gonna have to start online. PS. I've done Upfront medicals and biometrics.

Hi OtunbaTee,

Their offices are closed nationwide. They have been working from home.

Someone has finally picked my call now. They told me they have printed another TRF and I will get it dispatched to my house latest tomorrow.

Thank you for your response.

Why not go to their office...since they stopped picking your calls

Hello house,

I applied Nov 26th and got my NSE request mail this morning.

British Council is yet to get back to me on the IELTS Test Report Form. They keep complaining that they are not working and my test was a long time ago and is not easy for them to track (I wrote it July 2019 and cannot remember the score because it didn't meet what I wanted for Express entry)
They have even stopped picking my calls.

Please, what do I do next to get through to them. I have a month to submit my NSE request but my resumption is Jan 11th so the earlier the better for me.

Counting on the gurus in the house to aid me.
