I'm beginning to think you're from the SE grin
Igbos don't joke with breadfruit trees.
Are these some kind of early maturing hybrids you got there? Explain a little more, pls.

I've been nursing this plan of acquiring some hectares of farmland and cultivate exclusively breadfruit and oil bean trees on them. Sigh.... I need some crazy money.

We are based in two states: edo and lagos
Horticultural nursery in Lagos and farm.in edo state

Regarding breadfruit we went for the native one . No hybrids. The only fruit plant we focused very much on is orange. We have 10ish varieties all from Europe. And our main focus is on Washington navel. I have a short video of them blooming. It's like it snowed inside the farm

Decades ago we used to have breadfruit in my village. Seems that we are losing or forget our fruit plants to foreign food.
Last year we decided to go heavy in planting them. More or less 10k . It somethings baffles me how lack interest on our native food with such tremendous nutrients on them

Unfortunately we don't.

However the funny thing is that we have the led light ( not exactly like the one in the pic) that is solar.
The brightness is impressive 1300 lumen, equivalent to 1300 cake candles from 1m distance.
It detectes motion.
It automatically on when detect movement in a range of 260m

The root is not that much of a problem. Flamboyant isn't to be used as a fence tree. A 3x3m dedicated space is enough

State of my carpet grass!

It's mostly turned green now but isn't filling up as quickly as I hoped it would....

No retreat no surrender!

Landscaping aka gardening isn't for the faint hearted.

The bush there is called west indies flowers or something like that. Im trying to grow it into a hedge . My gardener who is now AWOL said something about tying it so it grows horizontally into the said hedge and then we can begin trimming. Does any one here have any ideas about how that works?
Trust the rains are being kind to our gardens?
Xoxo

To have a proper hedge, I recommend you plant more of the plant side by side. With a distance of 2 meters-ish. You can even start with the trimming now. (I don’t know how to explain how you should trim on words) however it shouldn’t be casual.

However if you need a garden scissors, we can supply. For gardeners/ farmers
