You guys go on about civilians, civilians. Ask yourselves are civilians respecting themselves? And you should be honest in answering this question. You must know majority of those pockets of soldiers you see or come across have nothing to do with you civilians. They are all majority of the time stationed at the barracks. Or allocated to strategic assets
a lady slapped you on a que and you retaliate by slapping her back the next thing is that some solider came and they started beating you without doing anything. Are the one at fault here or NA .

.

The army badge comes with lots of authority. I can guarantee you that whatever the issue was had opportunity to be solved amicably. But the egos of the road safety officials got the best of them, thus the reason it got their office. It's a shame Nigerian don't respect the office of the armed forces anymore. Reason why you see pockets of soldiers doing civil related work such as protection and the rest is because the interior security component is rotten. That left to it there won't be a country, I can point out 30 spots in Lagos that was under criminal activity pressure. But since the deployment of couple of soldiers those elements have literally disappeared.

Nigerians need to respect the soldiers and the armed forces that protect them
FRSC badge also come with authority, NA deserve to be respected accepted, are they also respecting the civilian. But they said respect is reciprocal.
