Yes. Irrespective of whether or not you showed the funds in your account for your own application, they need to show evidence of funds when they make their applications. This can be in your account or theirs but the bank statement submitted must not be older than 31 days at the time they submit their online application.
Keep handy your own evidence incase it is asked for as this has been the case with some people whom the ECOs sispected of recycling funds.

When you say "another" proof of fund, what do you mean?
Normally, you show your own tuition balance + your monthly maintainance * 9 months and your dependants' monthly maintenance * 9 months if you apply together.
If they apply shortly after you get your own visa, they only need your dependants' POF but the ECO might ask for evidence of your own funds and evidence that it went towards your tuition and maintainance in the UK, in addition to your dependants' maintainance if it is suspected that the funds are recycled.

I also had the same concerns. Got a conditional offer to Magee Campus but someone i connected with on LinkedIn told me that it will be better to reside in Belfast( which is the city centre ) and commute to Magee for lectures, its a 2hr ride by bus or train.
