The former member of PSquare, Peter Okoye, has taken to social media to  advice  men.

The singer now known as Mr P shared the advice during a live session he did with his fans on Instagram. The singer explained that when he met his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, 18 years ago he had nothing.

He added that then he was the gold digger. In the video, the singer advised men to remember that not every woman is a slaymama or a harlot.

He said when they find a woman they want they should make her the way they want their wife to be.

"my  wife was never perfect but i made her the way i wanted her to be. my wife also made me the way she wanted,"

he said he was not good looking before and now he is looking younger.

Davido took his instagram account to announce that he had lost a very close friend identified as King Jhaffi.

He wrote: “RIP KING JHAFFI !!!!! WTF MAN … my boy gone … Bleep 2020 ?”

The singer shared photos of Ahmed on his Instagram page. In a post shared on his page, the singer wished Ahmed a peaceful rest. He shared the post with a video of a time he was hanging out with Ahmed before his untimely death.

the singer’s friend passed away on Monday, April 6. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.

President Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau threatened President Iddris Deby after his fighters were killed in an attack led by the Chadian leader.

Shekau said his fighters would come after President Deby in a 5-minute audio message from The Nation.

The leading Boko Haraam, who insisted the Chadian ruler fights Islam in an ambush that led to a declaration of war on the insurgents of President Deby, stated that Allah made his fighters destroy over 90 troops from Chad.

Shekau said;




 “Today is Monday, 6th in the month of, Insha Allahu, Shaaban, the Hijirah of the Prophet of Allah, from Meccah to Medinah, 1441.

“We believe after this introduction, we heard certain things from Chad from a certain individual named Idriss Deby.

“He came out fully dressed up with the ambition of fighting the religion of Islam, that is he wants to fight us because we said we will work for the enthronement of Islam, we are Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad.

“Our aim is to follow the tenet of the Koran; our aim is to follow the tenets of the prophet; our aim is to practice Islam the way the Prophet of Allah left instructions before dying and handing over to knowledgeable scholars, who have also passed it down to me.

“Idris Daby, I will address you now. I am insha Allahu taalla, Abubakar ibn Mohammed Shekau, the Imam of Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad.

“I decided to send you this message quickly. Don’t think because you’ve fought battles in ignorance not according to the tenet of Islam, and today, because we said we will work for Allah, you think you will triumph over us.

“First, even Pharaoh was frightened. Idriss Deby, fear Allah, repent and become a Muslim.

“Be careful, all these aggressions with weapons, insha Allah, you will not defeat us.

“We are together in the night and also at dawn; insha Allah we are together. Allah knows the servants that are working wholeheartedly and in sincerity, and he knows the kind of victory he will give to them. Allah will give us victory.

“My brethren, be consoled and stand firm; be full of prayers; continue with the work and may Allah help us and nobody will vanquish us since we said we will work for Allah.

“Idriss Deby you are in trouble. Idriss Deby you are in trouble; Idriss Deby you are in trouble. You made us to be calling your name because you are fighting Allah. People of Chad, rise up.

“The kind of life you are living is not according to the Koran, not from the hadiths of his prophet. “But if you think you can do this, Allah is a helper and he is stronger than all. May Allah help us.”


This is coming after LIB shared a viral audio tape in which Shekau was heard begging his fighters not to run, after many of them were killed in an attack led by Chad's President, Iddris Deby.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) have issued Russia with a four-year ban from international sporting competition over doping failures.

This means the country will not be able to compete at the 2020 Olympics, the Winter Games and World Cup in 2022.

The World Anti-Doping Agency’s board made the announcement after they convened on Monday for a meeting around the International Olympic Committee’s headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.


At the meeting, it was revealed that Russia had tampered with laboratory data. The agency found out that Russia planted fake evidence and deleted files linked to positive doping tests that could have helped identify drug cheats.

Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State has promised to give N30 million to anyone who gives useful information that will lead to the arrest of those who killed a Director with the Rivers State Government during the Choba crisis as well as the capture of notorious criminal called Bobrisky in Gokana Local Government Area.

Wike made the pledge on Thursday, August 8th when he handed over 40 Patrol Vans fitted with Communication Gadgets to Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), See 4 Eye, Police Anti-Kidnapping, Police Anti-Cultism, Federal Road Safety Corps and Eagle Crime at the Government House Port Harcourt.

He also declared that the state government was fully prepared to tackle insecurity and would do everything required to protect lives and property, declaring that the state government had proscribed all youth groups operating in the state because they had been hijacked by cultists.

“RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT IS FULLY PREPARED AND WILL DO EVERYTHING REQUIRED TO PROTECT LIVES AND PROPERTY. WITHOUT THE PROTECTION OF LIVES AND PROPERTY, THERE WILL BE NO GOVERNANCE AND DEVELOPMENT.
