But I think it goes beyond that. I think its more about liberalism and a threshold of respect for other people, irrespective of tribe.

Yorubas are very liberal. You find an extended family of Muslims and Christians. All on talking terms. There is nothing like Osu or almajiri. But because there are Yoruba Muslims and Islam casts a good light on alms giving, I see Yoruba's give them money everyday. The couple might have met in church for all we know.
