Phones / Science Says You Can Now Develop Horns Behind Your Skull For Excessive Phone Use by Pefecthealth(m): 9:29am On Jun 20
The excessive use of smartphones in the world is growing at an exponential rate. Some can't even control themselves while using it, they call while driving, play games on the road and do things that put life at risk. You would even find a 4-year old child operating high tech devices in the tier 1 countries.

Science now says Younger generations seem to be developing horns in the back of their skulls due to the excessive use of smartphones and tablets.

Earlier this week, Two Australian researchers made the bizarre discovery while examining hundreds of X-rays of people aged between 18 and 30, finding almost half had developed bone growths.

This bone growth was described “horn-like” by the researchers.

Phones / Let's Welcome The First Set Of The Ultra-fast 5G Smartphones by Pefecthealth(m): 4:23am On Jun 20
5G is finally here. Since the beginning of this year, many phones makers unveiled their upcoming 5G phones.
Here are the list of the super-fast 5G devices that are available now.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G

Verizon has opened the sales of the Galaxy S10 5G which is riced at $1,300.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G flaunts a 6.7-inch display, four rear cameras and the ability to wirelessly charge other devices. The device is also available on Sprint on June 21, and will head to AT&T and T-Mobile afterward.

Interested buyers will have to be on Verizon's Above or Beyond unlimited plans to access 5G on phones.

The Galaxy S10 5G won't be the only 5G phone from Samsung. Its foldableGalaxy Fold will have a 5G variant too, however that phone's launch has been delayed due to reported screen issues that the company said it recently solved.

LG V50

The LG V50 ThinQ 5G is available now to Sprint users for $1,152 and the carrier's network is now live in four cities: Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and Atlanta.
Sprint will also flip the switch for a handful of other cities afterward, like Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C. later in 2019.

The V50 is Sprint's first 5G phone but it's also available on Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband network on June 20, as well as T-Mobile and AT&T later in the year. The phone features a 6.4-inch OLED display, three rear cameras that include a wide-angle and telephoto lens, the Snapdragon 855 chipset and two front-facing cameras. It can also attach to a Dual Screen accessory that increases the phone's display size, though that won't be available in the US.

Motorola

The Moto Z4 is the most affordable 5G phone on sale.
The Moto Z4 is priced at $499 and the Mod costs extra, but for a limited time you can get both for $440, making the Z4 the cheapest 5G phone yet.

Phones / Three Reasons Why Your Phone Battery Never Last by Pefecthealth(m): 2:11am On Jun 20
USING 100% SCREEN BRIGHTNESS
Most people is a culprit in this including me also. We do increase the screen brightness so we could see the phone clearly, but I do this mostly at night. I do notice a strange behavior on my iPhone 6s anytime I use the 100% screen brightness, what's this behavior?
I do notice that my iPhone will just start heating up unnecessarily and when this happens I notice my battery draining faster than normal.
So I performed a battery life test for two days.
On the first day I used the 100% brightness and then I timed it, with my timing I notice the battery lasted for 2.5 hours.
The next day I decreased the brightness to 30% and the battery lasted for and 6 hours. Wow it lasts 2 times longer than when I used the 100% brightness.
So in conclusion, I will advice you limit your screen brightness to 60% to help make the battery last longer.

HEAT

Heat? Lol.
I smiled because I think its impossible for a smartphone to be active without heating up. Heat is one of the major factors that decreases a battery life. This mostly happens to the mobile gamers and the social media lovers, where most people spend too much time chatting, looking at pictures, watching videos etc..
Some even do it to the extent that they keep the mobile data on always without putting it of after use, and why is this? They don't want to miss the latest gists or the last messages being sent, so the keep mobile data or WiFi on always.
Keeping either of these two on is a major reason why the phone battery drains faster than normal, it will keep the battery heating up and this can damage the battery life. I'll advise you keep your WiFi or mobile data off after use so it could increase the battery life to make it last longer.

Politics / El-rufai Vs Ashiru: Monday Court Appearance Reports by Pefecthealth(m): 11:37am On Jun 18
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday presented 17 witnesses out of the 685 it lined up as it opened its case against the declaration of Gov. Nasir El-Rufai as winner of the March 9, 2019 Governorship election in Kaduna State.
The PDP and its Governorship candidate in the poll, Alhaji Isah Ashiru are asking the state Governorship Election Petition Tribunal to nullify the election of El-Rufai and declare its candidate the winner, having scored the majority of valid votes cast during the election.
The petitioners, who joined INEC, APC and El-Rufai in the case, alleged that the poll was characterised by massive rigging, ballot box stuffing and violence in 110 wards in 12 local government areas of the state.
The LGAs all of which the PDP lost to the APC as declared by INEC, include Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Igabi, Ikara, Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Kubau, Kudan, Lere, Sabon Gari, Soba and Zaria.
The party said it had assembled 685 witnesses, mostly party agents and returning officers it assigned during the poll.

The PDP, at the resumed hearing on Monday, submitted names of 17 persons as first batch of witnesses who began testifying before the tribunal.

Phones / See The First Smartphone With Antibacterial Feature by Pefecthealth(m): 11:46am On Jun 17
With the increase in bacteria growth due to the phones we carry around with us every day, a China based smartphone company NOMU (Natural, Open, Motivated and Unique) has decided to help the worldby creating the first antibacterial smartphone ever.

In a recent investigation by Nomu, the Chinese smartphone company found out that there are over 10 million bacteria on each phone with nearly a quarter of phones carrying 10 times as much as the acceptable number of bacteria.

This motivated Nomu to build a smartphone (NOMU M8) that offers antibacterial protection by implanting bi-ions on the surface of the glass the phone. This move means the anti-bacterial glass not only has high efficiency, but a long-lasting antibacterial effect that doesn't wear off.
