THE POWER OF *I AM SORRY.*

*I am sorry,* a short but mighty sentence!

If you wish to live long, don't joke with this short sentence, *I am sorry.* Do you know how many people who had gone to early grave because they neglected the therapeutic power of *I am sorry.*

Single sorry can stop a war, n prevents millions of men, women including children from dying!

Most of the troubles in most homes are heightened because wives are too big to say *I am sorry* to their husbands and you can trust the ego of husbands in saying same to their wives.

Quarrel lingers between friends because no party wants to say *I am sorry.* Each says or asks, why should I be the first to say *I am sorry?* He or she would beat his or her chest and utter the ego phrase, *a whole me!*

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the part of the world where saying *I am sorry* is a hard nut to crack while curses are easily unleashed.

Welcome to the part of the world where people refer to a person who says *I am sorry* in a midst of a rift as a *weaker sex*: one who is not man enough; one who is foolish.

Welcome to Africa where saying *I am sorry* is tougher than forcing a donkey to pass through a needle hole.

All of us are victims of this discussion. We have lost valuable assets, money and even lives because of this cheap and affordable sentence *I am sorry.* It simply cost only a breath of speech.

Have you ever wondered why domestic violence is less pronounced in the western world? It is simply because they understand the efficacy of *I am sorry.*

Husbands say it to their wives and even children whenever they err, wives and children do the same and life goes on fine.

Friends, this is simply a piece to encourage us to cultivate a habit of saying *I am sorry.* It is difficult but readily affordable.

Learn how to say *I AM SORRY* even if you are right.

If this message offends you in one way or the other, *I am sorry*
My apologies.

THE THIRTY-ONE (31) SILENT FACTS ABOUT THE RAPTURE*

1. It is going to be the next greatest event that will shock all the continents of the world. Matt 24:40-42.

2. It is going to take place suddenly, abruptly, unexpectedly, without warning and without prior notice. 1 Thess 5:2

3. There shall be no second version of the event. 1 Thess 5:4

4. A greater percentage of Christians may be taken unawares. Matt 24:38-39

5. Careless Christians who miss the event will have no other similar gracious opportunity. Matt 13:49-50

6. The event shall have no regard or respect for ecclesiastical titles or church leadership positions. Matt 5:20

7. It shall be a day when the sheep shall be separated from the goats. Matt 25:32-33.

8. The day shall differentiate between the Broad Way Christians and the Narrow Way Christians. Matt 7:13-14

9. The day shall separate sincerity from hypocrisy. Gal 5:21

10. The day shall differentiate between those who harbour secret sins from those who abhor secret sins. Gal 5:20-21

11. The day shall separate those whose lives are hidden in Christ from those who are hiding in the church. Luke 13:27

12. The day shall show a glaring, clear, conspicuous, demarcation between Christians who walk on the path of holiness from those who walk on the path of worldliness. Heb 12:14

13. It shall be a day of double emotion: joy for some and unimaginable, indescribable, uncontrollable regrets for others. Luke 13:28

14. It shall be a day of surprises- some “Big names” may miss the flight while some “Less known” may be on board. 1 Cor 1:27

15. Another surprise may be that a man or woman who had faithfully served the Lord for many years may defile his or her garment a few minutes before the sound of that summoning trumpet and miss the flight while a notorious sinner may surrender his or her life to Jesus within the same time frame and go to heaven. Ezekiel 3:20

16. This event may happen now, today, this week, this month, this year or next year! Matt 24:36

17. Wise Christians, like the five virgins that took extra oil, are expected to get ready, yes, to get prepared. Matt 25:1-13

18. After the event, all those who are bitter against one another, malicious, unforgiving, jealous, arrogant, haters, hypocrites, drunkards, fornicators, adulterers, adulteresses, murderers with weapons and murderers with tongue etc, shall have enough time to continue in their trade. Heb 12:14-15.

19. When the event is over there shall be revival among those who have chosen to stay behind not because there will be a second chance, no, but because the reality of the event would have struck them like a thunderbolt. But they will have to pay with their own blood. 2 Tim 4:3

20. When the event is over, those who are left behind shall no longer be safe to worship in their gigantic, fanciful and multi-billion Dollars/Naira cathedrals. Instead they shall seek safety in caves, bushes and abandoned and dilapidated but hidden structures. Rev 6:15-17

21. When this great event is over, each time those who will miss their flight manage to gather for worship, they will pay attention to only one sermon- whether they gather in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North or South America; the sermon will only centre on “How to Meet the Divine Standard and Join the Other Saints”. Rev 14:6-7

22. It is also worthy to note that those who will be left behind will never have any business with comedians at their altars anymore. No! There shall no longer be gatherings for entertainments. Whenever, they manage to gather, it shall always be for serious religious business only. Luke 21:34

23. The prayer pattern of those who will be left behind will also undergo a radical change. They will not be praying for things anymore. They will only be praying for strength to withstand the tortures of the Anti-Christ and die bravely to join the other saints. None will be praying for jobs, marriages, etc. Rev 8:3-4

24. It is equally worthy of note that some of those who will miss their flight will not be able to endure the torture of the Anti Christ. They will receive the mark of the beast and thereby be doomed forever. Rev 14:9-11

25. When the ready saints are gone, all our denominational walls of partition will collapse. The man or woman who used to worship in Omega Fire, Jesus Chapel, Exousia Kingdom Gospel Centre, Deeper Life, for instance, will hide in the same place with those who worship in Christ Embassy, Church of God Mission, Assemblies of God, Word Aflame, Action Chapel, Winners Chapel, Lighthouse Chapel etc and nobody will remember to claim superiority anymore because  then they will be facing a common enemy. Eph 4:1-6

26. When this event is over, each time believers who will miss their flight manage to gather anywhere for worship, there will be an atmosphere of sobriety. This rowdiness we witness today shall be no more. 1 Peter 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8

27. There shall also be a radical change in the attitude of those who will miss their flight towards Bible study. What we have now is an attitude characterized by a high degree of nonchalance and indifference, but when the ready saints are gone, those who will be left behind will begin to take their bible study seriously. 2 Tim 2:15

28. All the teens and youths who come to church to please their parents will repent after this great event; yes, they will begin to seek God for themselves.

Rev 19:5, Rev 20:12.

29. When the event is over, all those who will do any form of business in the schools, hospitals, banks, etc, will have to bear the mark of beast (666) or be hunted down and killed like common criminals. Rev 13:17

30. One of the gains of this reminder is that there may be someone reading this piece today who will take a firm decision to ensure that he/she gets on board that celestial flight travelling to glory.

Rev 2:7, 2:11, 2:17, 2:29, 3:6, 3:13, 3:22.

31. However, one of the greatest tragedies of this reminder is that there may be someone too who is reading this piece today but who will see no need to heed this warning. A tragedy indeed! Rev 22:11-12

Open Heavens 19 October 2017: Thursday daily devotional by Pastor Adeboye – All Things Work For Good

Topic: All Things Work For Good — Thursday 19, October 2017.
Memorise:And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. –Romans 8:28
Read:Acts 8:1-8(KJV)
1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation
over him.
3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were
possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8 And there was great joy in that city.
Bible in One Year:Ephesians 5-6, Philippians 1, Daniel 9:16-27, Hymn: Sing Hymn 4 – Through The Level Of God Our Saviour
MESSAGE:
When we look at the situation of the world today, we can be tempted to think that God has withdrawn from the world He created, but nothing could be further from the truth. Our God is very much in charge of His created order. He has never and He will never lose grip of His created universe. One reason why
some people think it is immoral to link God with what is happening in the world today is the evil that permeates the world as a result of sin being perpetrated by the men and women of this age. Such people believe that if God is involved in the affairs of this world, then the terrible things we are witnessing today should have triggered His direct intervention. Such opinions are not new; they were also expressed by some people at the time of the early Church, to whom Peter responded with the words of2 Peter 3:9:
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not
willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
Coming up next: Open Heavens 20 October 2017: Friday daily devotional by Pastor Adeboye – Importune Prayer Or Vain RepetitionsThe events described in today’s Bible reading showed God’s people living in a very difficult time. The persecution of the early Christians by the Jews, which claimed the life of Stephen, caused the believers to scatter all over the then known world, in a bid to escape further persecution by the Jews. However, the dispersion resulted in the spread of the gospel. Philip, who was initially
commissioned to minister to the widows of Jerusalem, became a city-wide evangelist in Samaria. The Bible testifies thus about him:
“5Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.6And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.” -Acts 8:5-6
You can therefore see that indeed, all the things that happened in Jerusalem, including the scattering of the disciples, worked together for the salvation and deliverance of the people of Samaria and other parts of the world. My prayer for you is that all the things you are
passing through this season will work together for your good in Jesus’ Name. However, only those who love God have all the assurance of all things working together in their favour, especially those who are called according to God’s purpose. Therefore, ensure that your love for God is sincere, so that your expectations will not be disappointed.
Prayer Point:Father, in accordance with Your word, let all things begin to work together for my good in Jesus’ Name.

Physical activity and exercise. Physical activity and exercise is a major contributor to a healthy lifestyle; people are made to use their bodies, and disuse leads to unhealthy living. ... Regular exercise can help prevent coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure.

SPEAK EVIL OF NO MAN
"Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men".
Defamation of other peoples character is a sin. It should not even be mentioned among the people of GOD. Beware of little foxes!

*BACK TO THE OLD ALTAR*
It is blasphemy to gather young men and be teaching them methods of church growth, when they cannot pray for 1hour or 2hours daily..
I may not have been old in ministry.
But I was born in the church...
In a time when church was growing from the knee...
I was born in a time when people used to troop to church from kilometers away, without any invitation...
And when you ask them they will tell you they were in the dreams, and God showed them the churches in the dream and gave them directions...
Check inside that church, somebody was praying inside the vestry...
Some of them were banished...
Some were divorced by their husband's...
Some were pulled out from school...
All because they started attending the church...
But they remained...
Today, once you speak to your member any how, he will get offended and stop coming to church...
Next week, they would have made him assistant pastor in the church next street...
Those are the kind of members our church growth methods can attract ...
Jesus said: "No one can bring them except my heavenly draws them..."
And told us: ... "Pray ye the Lord of the harvest..."
Sir, take us back to our knees..
Methods has failed us ...
Out fathers knelt down and demons ran away from communities where they were domiciled..
The only constant memory I have of my late father was his kneeling position...
Even at the age of 85, he knelt down almost all through the night...
No wonder communities saw him and their native doctors ran away...
And evil forests were handed over to him, free by the villagers ...
He conquered those ancient demons...
And today, to the glory of God mighty churches are standing those places now...
They didn't go to school...
But they were taught how to kneel ...
My brother, sir, God will never abandon a kneeling generation ....
Am in tears here...
We have bragged with shadows enough ...
No wonder we have started using church positions to attract them to church...
No wonder we don't preach certain things again, so that they don't get angry and leave...
Because we know that it is not the Holy Ghost that brought them...
We know how we stole them from the churches we were invited to minister...
A generation f ministers who are tired in the place of prayer has nothing to offer to this degenerating generation
Oh Spirit of grace and supplication,...
Please, invade our lives again...
Oh Lord of the harvest...
Cause us to keel again...
Sir, let us go back to our knees...
It is the only fashioned way that wields greatest power on earth...
Jonah used it inside the belle of the fish and he won a whole city with just one message...
Peter and others while hiding used it, and a single message, 3000 joined the church...
Among them were bankers, doctors, engineers, fashion designers and captains of industries...
No posters and no handbills...
And they were among those that defended the gospel even in the face of martyrdom...
They were beheaded...
Some were burnt alive...
While some were tied to horses and dragged to pieces, to their deaths...
Yet, they never had any cause to denounce Jesus...
Because they were all looking for a city which builder and Maker is God...
Friends, whatever that was not gotten in the place of prayer cannot stand the test of time...
The Bible said: "Whatever the Lord doeth standeth forever..."
Sir, lets trust God for grace to kneel again ...
How can Satan allow the prophecies over our ministries to come to pass when he knows the threat we are to his kingdom?...
No wonder he has stolen our prayer lives..
No wonder He has quenched our hunger for His Presence...
If Jesus needed to pray to fulfil the prophesies on his head, why do we think that just reading a book written about church growth will do the work for us?...
I am talking to only those who have not forgotten what God showed them when they first began...
It is time to kneel again...
Let get back on our knees, reclaiming back lost souls in the place of Prayer.
Have a blessed week beloved

*LATENESS TO CHURCH...!!!*

Ever since I was born, I have not seen many people arrive late to the airport when they are traveling. In fact, when the plane is taking off at 11:00pm, the person will be at the airport by 7:00pm, wow!

That's how much people value travelling overseas!!

Same when they have to go to court they will be at that Court not less than 30 minutes before the appointed time.

But on a Sunday morning when Church has long begun, that's when you see men and women with 'swag' gliding like a wounded tortoise to Church.

They know they are late,

Church starts at 10:00 am but people will come at 10:30am or 11: 00 am why? They think all they need is just to be present and show their faces to their friends.

Just take the test to call them on Monday at 5:30 or 6:00 am , you'll realise they are already on their way to work and some will be there already.

Know this today, anytime you go to Church one minute late, you have NOT attended Church at all.

If Christ is saying 'where
two or three are gathered, I'm in their midst', you think He comes late? The time you give is the time He keeps.

What does it mean to arrive late to Church?

1) Disrespect to Christ
2) Betrayal of Christ
3) Disregard to the Church and the Pastor
4) Interruption of an eternal program.

Don't keep the Angel of your blessing waiting, he has an appointed time to return back. Do not extend the day of your testimony.

*Very important. Forward to as many Christians you know. We must deal with this situation in the church.* JAMES 4 VS 17.

Avoid other high-risk behaviors

Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Driving while sleep-deprived
Reckless driving and speeding, "road rage"
Driving while using cell phones, texting, or performing other tasks
Motorcycle (and bicycle) riding without helmets
Possession of firearms and guns without proper training and storage
Smoking in bed
Adverse consequences of high-risk behaviors:

Motor vehicle accidents account for 40%-50% of accidental deaths.
Motorcycle accidents are a major cause of serious head injuries.
Firearms and guns account for a significant proportion of deaths among adolescents due to male suicide and homicide.
Smoking in bed can lead to burn injury and death.
Recommendations (tips):

When driving, use seat restraints on all passengers, both front and rear seats.
Do not drink and drive.
Do not drive if sleep deprived.
Avoid unnecessary distractions and focus on the road and traffic while driving (avoid texting, talking on cell phones, eating, applying makeup, or other distractions).
Use helmets while riding bicycles and motorcycles. Helmet use reduces deaths from motorcycle accidents by 30% and serious head injuries by 75%.
Obtain proper training in the use and storage of guns and ammunition.
Use smoke detectors; avoid smoking in bed

ZERO PLUS ZERO IS EQUALS TO ZERO

My house, my car, my children, my certificates, my job, my husband, my wife, my families, my clothes, my SHOE..... My! My!! My!!! What does this life worth?

A man was informed about the departure of his father, but he tarried. When his father STARTED smelling, their neighbors took his father to mortuary for preservation.

A week later, he went to mortuary to see the corpse of his father, when he was about to enter the place, there was a poster placed at the entrance of the mortuary, of which no one can escape it, it reads........ WE WERE LIKE YOU BEFORE, BUT WE ARE HERE NOW.
The young boy read it, but it didn't make any sense to him, he went inside, checked the corpse of his father, after a few minutes, he made his step out. As he was about to step OUTSIDE, he saw another inscription placed on a strategical location, which no one will escape it, it says.......... YOU WILL SOON BE LIKE US.

This last word touched his stoning heart and he repented from that moment. From that moment, he understands......... Everything here on earth, is like a dream, a vapor, life itself is not real as everything is temporal.
YOU WILL SOON BE LIKE THOSE THAT WERE ONCE LIVING, EATING, SLEEPING, WALKING, TALKING, LAUGHING HERE ON EARTH, BUT TODAY...... THEY'RE NO MORE.
When he got to his father's mansion, nobody to talk to, his father left his shoes, clothes, money, bed, cars, EVERYTHIN. As he was searching his father's wardrobes, he saw untouched brand new dollars, well packed and arranged, but the owner of the money was in mortuary...... the Young boy
remembered............. WE WERE LIKE YOU BEFORE, BUT YOU WILL SOON JOIN US. He cried the more.
You eat semolina with vegetables and fish, Turkey, pomon, bokoto, fried rice and drink wine today, but tomorrow, your flesh becomes a food for MAGGOTS.
You drive a nice car today, but tomorrow, ambulance drives you.
You live in a mansion today, but tomorrow you live in burial ground.
You sleep in a nice bed today, but tomorrow, you sleep inside casket.

What? What?? What
What is the approximate replacement for your soul?
You wil lose EVERYTHING if you DIE without God and without living for Him.
Mark 8:36-37 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
What? What?? What What is an approximate replacement for your soul?
*Pls, ruminate on this piece of post, reconcile with your creator & have a positive change of heart, so that your living on earth shall be to God's glory & at end of your sojourning on earth, you will not end in oblivion. A word is enough for the wise.*

HOPE IN THESE LAST DAYS

Memorise : I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. - John 14:18

Read: Joel 2:28-32

2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lordshall call.

MESSAGE :

You can live above the storms of life in these last days through the power of God’s word. The lord has promised us in His word that He will not leave us comfortless (John 14:18). You therefore have His assurance that no matter how bad your situation may appear to be, there is hope for you. Let these words of Job 14:7 bring hope to your heart:

“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.”

While Jesus and His disciples were on a missionary journey, the disciples desperately called His attention to a raging storm. He calmly woke up and rebuked the storm, and right away, there was great calm (Mark 4:36-41). The disciples first struggled to survive the storm on their own, but the more they tried, the more they were in danger of perishing at sea, until Jesus intervened.

I  pray that the Almighty God will intervene in your situation today in Jesus’ Name. from the words of the Lord, we know that the last days will be a time of turmoil with several raging storms (Luke 21:25-26). We are indeed in the last days.

Are you experiencing a storm? The Lord has different strategies to bring comfort to you. He can simply calm the storm by the awesome power of His presence, or by directly commanding the storm to become still. He can also provide a cover for you from the storm. This is why you need to stay in God’s presence where your destiny can remain secured.

The Lord has promised the outpouring of His spirit upon all flesh in the last days. Acts 2:17 says,

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”

We are living in times when the Spirit of the Lord is empowering the saint for the fulfillment of prophesies and the actualization of visions. The Body of Christ therefore has no excuse not to do exploit for God in times as these, because the promise of the Spirit’s outpouring has already been fulfilled by the father. God is set to do great things, not because of our own abilities but because of His sovereignty. Not one of God’s children will be left out of His great move in these last days. Son, daughters, old men, young men, manservants and maidservants are all relevant to God in His agenda for this time.

He has reserved better things for His people in the midst of the turmoil unfolding in the world, and He will begin to give us divine revelation of how we will transit from where we are to where we ought to be by His Spirit. The Spirit will also release the strength and vigor needed for the actualization of these dreams.

PRAYER POINT :
Let there be an outpouring of your Spirit upon my life.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Ephesians 2-4
Daniel 9 : 3-15

HYMN 1:  MY FAITH LOOKS UP TO THEE

1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!

2.  May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire!

3.  While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.

4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold, sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul!

After the rapture...
Appetite for marriage will die.
Appetite for job will die.
Appetite for admission will die.
Appetite to be the Nigerian president will die...
Men of God that missed it will be ashamed to come out from there houses because of shame of their members seeing them.
Christians that missed it will equally be ashamed to go close to those unbelievers they preached to but never gave heed to the gospel message.
I mean after the rapture, those who loved
motivational messages will dislike them with passion and shall seek for messages of salvation Brothers and sisters, after the rapture, grace on its own accord will cease here on earth. Spiritual gifts will not be available because there will be no Holy Spirit to manifest them.
Those who were not raptured will take home the belongings of those that were raptured if
peradventure it happened in a church service.
Those who never believed in rapture shall do so but it must have become too late.
I said after the rapture, those that missed it shall cry without end then; no one to offer a word of hope because it will be all over then.
People would love to repent but there will be no Jesus on earth to accept them.
It is only sin that has what it takes to drop any man to hell. There won't be second chance.
Their only hope will be hell

*Therefore Let us lay aside every weight and sin that doth so easily beset us and be genuinely converted from all our evil ways today because tomorrow might be too late.... please let's pay more attention to eternity.* Be Rapturable.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption

Adverse consequences of excessive alcohol consumption:

Chronic, excess alcohol consumption is the major cause of liver cirrhosis in the U.S.
Liver cirrhosis can cause internal hemorrhage, fluid accumulation in the abdomen, easy bleeding and bruising, muscle wasting, mental confusion, infections, and in advanced cases, coma, and kidney failure.
Liver cirrhosis can lead to liver cancer.
Alcohol accounts for 40%-50% of deaths from automobile accidents in the U.S.
Alcohol use is a significant cause of injury and death from home accidents, drowning, and burns.
Comments and recommendations (tips):

There are many treatments for alcoholism. But the crucial first step to recovery is for the individual to admit there is a problem and make a commitment to address the alcoholism issue. The 12-step-style self-help programs, pioneered by Alcoholics Anonymous, can be one effective treatment. Psychologists and related professionals have developed programs to help individuals better handle emotional stresses and avoid behaviors that can lead to excess drinking. Support and understanding from family members are often critical for sustained recovery. Medication can be useful for the prevention of relapses and for withdrawal symptoms following acute or prolonged intoxication.

Avoid high-risk sexual behaviors

High-risk sexual behavior can lead to the acquisition of sexually transmitted illnesses such as gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, or HIV infection. High-risk sexual behavior is also known to spread human papillomavirus infection, which can lead to cervical cancer in women and other anogenital cancers in both men and women. High-risk sexual behaviors include the following:

Multiple sex partners
Sex partners with a history of the following:
Intravenous drug use
Venereal disease (sexually transmitted diseases or STDs)
Adverse consequences of high-risk sexual behavior:

Transmission of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, genital herpes)
Transmission of hepatitis B (50% of hepatitis B infections are due to sexual transmission) and, in rare instances, hepatitis C
Transmission of human papilloma virus (HPV), which can cause genital warts and anogenital carcinomas, most commonly cancer of the uterine cervix
Unplanned pregnancy
Recommendations (tips):

Avoid unprotected sex (sex without barriers such as a condom) outside an established, committed, monogamous relationship.
If you plan to have sex and are unsure of your partner's health status, use a condom.

Healthy living facts

This article is designed to give tips to readers about how they can improve or augment actions in their life to have a healthy lifestyle; it is not meant to be all inclusive but will include major components that are considered to be parts of a lifestyle that lead to good health. In addition to the tips about what people should do for healthy living, the article will mention some of the tips about avoiding actions (the don'ts) that lead to unhealthy living.

"Healthy living" to most people means both physical and mental health are in balance or functioning well together in a person. In many instances, physical and mental health are closely linked, so that a change (good or bad) in one directly affects the other. Consequently, some of the tips will include suggestions for emotional and mental "healthy living."

Eating (diet)

Readers Comments 1
All humans have to eat food for growth and maintenance of a healthy body, but we humans have different requirements as infants, children (kids), teenagers, young adults, adults, and seniors. For example, infants may require feeding every four hours until they gradually age and begin to take in more solid foods. Eventually they develop into the more normal pattern of eating three times per day as young kids. However, as most parents know, kids, teenagers, and young adults often snack between meals. Snacking is often not limited to these age groups because adults and seniors often do the same.

Tips:

Eat three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner); it is important to remember that dinner does not have to be the largest meal.
The bulk of food consumption should consist of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk products.
Choose lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts (with emphasis on beans and nuts).
Choose foods that are low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium), and added sugars; look at the labels because the first listed items on the labels comprise the highest concentrations of ingredients.
Control portion sizes; eat the smallest portion that can satisfy hunger and then stop eating.
Snacks are OK in moderation and should consist of items like fruit, whole grains, or nuts to satisfy hunger and not cause excessive weight gain.
Avoid sodas and sugar-enhanced drinks because of the excessive calories in the sodas and sugar drinks; diet drinks may not be a good choice as they make some people hungrier and increase food consumption.
Avoid eating a large meal before sleeping to decrease gastroesophageal reflux and weight gain.
If a person is angry or depressed, eating will not solve these situations and may make the underlying problems worse.
Avoid rewarding children with sugary snacks; such a pattern may become a lifelong habit for people.
Avoid heavy meals in the summer months, especially during hot days.
A vegetarian lifestyle has been promoted for a healthy lifestyle and weight loss; vegetarians should check with their physicians to be sure they are getting enough vitamins, minerals, and iron in their food.
Cooking foods (above 165 F) destroys most harmful bacteria and other pathogens; if you choose to eat uncooked foods like fruits or vegetables, they should be thoroughly washed with running treated (safe to drink) tap water right before eating.
Avoid eating raw or undercooked meats of any type.
Tips for special situations:

People with diabetes should use the above tips and monitor their glucose levels as directed; try to keep the daily blood glucose levels as close to normal as possible.
People with unusual work schedules (night shifts, college students, military) should try to adhere to a breakfast, lunch, and dinner routine with minimal snacking.
People who prepare food should avoid using grease or frying foods in grease.
People trying to lose weight (body fat) should avoid all fatty and sugary foods and eat mainly vegetables, fruits, and nuts and markedly reduce his/her intake of meat and dairy products.
Seek medical advice early if you cannot control your weight, food intake,

Physical activity and exercise

Physical activity and exercise is a major contributor to a healthy lifestyle; people are made to use their bodies, and disuse leads to unhealthy living. Unhealthy living may manifest itself in obesity, weakness, lack of endurance, and overall poor health that may foster disease development.

Tips:

Regular exercise can prevent and reverse age-related decreases in muscle mass and strength, improve balance, flexibility, and endurance, and decrease the risk of falls in the elderly. Regular exercise can help prevent coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure. Regular, weight-bearing exercise can also help prevent osteoporosis by building bone strength.
Regular exercise can help chronic arthritis sufferers improve their capacity to perform daily activities such as driving, climbing stairs, and opening jars.
Regular exercise can help increase self-esteem and self-confidence, decrease stress and anxiety, enhance mood, and improve general mental health.
Regular exercise can help control weight gain and in some people cause loss of fat.
Thirty minutes of modest exercise (walking is OK) at least three to five days a week is recommended, but the greatest health benefits come from exercising most days of the week.
Exercise can be broken up into smaller 10-minute sessions.
Start slowly and progress gradually to avoid injury or excessive soreness or fatigue. Over time, build up to 30 to 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise every day.
People are never too old to start exercising. Even frail, elderly individuals (70-90 years of age) can improve their strength and balance with exercise.
Almost any type of exercise (resistance, water aerobics, walking, swimming, weights, yoga, and many others) is helpful for everybody.
Children need exercise; play outside of the home is a good beginning.
Sports for children may provide excellent opportunities for exercise, but care must be taken not to overdo certain exercises (for example, throwing too many pitches in baseball may harm a joint like the elbow or shoulder).
Exertion during strenuous exercise may make a person tired and sore, but if pain occurs, stop the exercise until the pain source is discovered; the person may need to seek medical help and advice about continuation of such exercise.
Most individuals can begin moderate exercise, such as walking, without a medical examination. The following people, however, should consult a doctor before beginning more vigorous exercise:

Men over age 40 or women over age 50
Individuals with heart or lung disease, asthma, arthritis, or osteoporosis
Individuals who experience chest pressure or pain with exertion, or who develop fatigue or shortness of breath easily
Individuals with conditions that increase their risks of developing coronary heart disease, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cigarette smoking, high blood cholesterol, or having family members who had early onset heart attacks and coronary heart disease
Individuals who are morbidly obese
Consequences of physical inactivity and lack of exercise:

Physical inactivity and lack of exercise are associated with heart disease and some cancers.
Physical inactivity and lack of exercise are associated with type II diabetes mellitus (also known as maturity or adult-onset, non-insulin-dependent diabetes).
Physical inactivity and lack of exercise contribute to weight gain.
Mental health

Healthy living involves more than physical health, it also includes emotional or mental health. The following are some ways people can support their mental health and well-being.

Tips:

Get enough sleep daily; the CDC recommends the following by age group (naps inclusive); 12-18 hours from birth to 2 months, 14-15 hours from 3-11 months of age, 12-18 hours for 1-3 years of age, 11-13 hours for 3-5 years of age, 10-11 hours for 5-10 years of age, eight and a half to nine and a half hours for 10-17 years of age and those 18 and above need seven to nine hours of sleep. Elderly people need about seven to nine hours but do not sleep as deeply and may awaken at night or wake early, so naps (like kids need) allow them to accumulate the total of seven to nine hours of sleep.
Take a walk and reflect on what you see and hear at least several times per week.
Try something new and often (eat a new food, try a different route to work, go to a new museum display).
Do some mind exercises (read, do a puzzle occasionally during the week).
Try to focus on a process intensely and complete a segment of it over one to several hours, then take a break and do something relaxing (walk, exercise, short nap).
Plan to spend some time talking with other people about different subjects.
Try to make some leisure time to do some things that interest you every week (hobby, sport).
Learn ways to say "no" when something occurs that you do not want to do or be involved with.
Have fun (go on a trip with someone you love, go shopping, go fishing; do not let vacation time slip away).
Let yourself be pleased with your achievements, both big and small (develop contentment).
Have a network of friends; those with strong social support systems lead healthier lives.
Seek help and advice early if you feel depressed, have suicidal thoughts, or consider harming yourself or others.
People taking medicine for mental-health problems should not stop taking these medications, no matter how "well" they feel, until they have discussed their situation with their prescribing doctor(s).
Avoidance behavior is another key to healthy living. Below are described some of the major items to avoid if a person is seeking a healthy lifestyle.

This morning, God will water your dry ground and solidify your slippery path. Your trees would bear their fruits bountifully and in season. There shall not be scarcity of good things in your life. The wasters and devourers will be locked out of your life by the Almighty God. I pray that the Lord God Almighty will feed and satisfy you and your family with good things. The blood of Jesus will speak for deliverance and breakthrough for you and members of your household in the mighty name of Jesus. Good morning. Have a glorious day ahead. Remain Blessed.

THEME: ENJOYING THE SERVICES OF ANGELS

Memorise:
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: Psalm 104:4

Read: Psalm 91:9-13

91:9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Message:

There are several misconceptions about the existence of angels. Some people don’t believe that angels exist. Some other people who believe in the existence of angels don’t know their purpose. It is important for us to know the truth of what God’s word says about angels, so that we don’t miss out on the ministry of angels in our lives. Today’s memory verse confirms that angels exist, and gives a hint on why they were created. From this scripture, we understand that angels are ministering spirits. We have two categories of angels: holy angels of God and fallen angels. The term “fallen angels” refers to Satan and the group of angels that rebelled along with him against God. These angels, now called the devil and demons, were cast out of heaven and are awaiting the day of God’s final judgment against them, when they will be sent into the place of eternal punishment (Isaiah 14:12-16, Ezekiel 28:12-19, Revelation 12:9, Matthew 8:29, Revelation 20:10). On the other hand, the holy angels of God are those angels that have remained loyal to God as their sovereign Lord. Concerning these angels, Psalm 103:20 says,

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.”

As a child of God, the angels of God are meant to minister to you and for you in the hour of great need, especially in situations beyond human control and power. Hebrews 1:14 says,

“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”

For example, angels ministered to Jesus after His temptation and before He went to the cross (Matthew 4:11, Luke 22:43). Psalm 91:11-12 mentions some specific assignments of the angels of God saying,

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”

Years ago, when some of the brethren came to me suggesting that I begin to carry bodyguards around, because they would not want to lose me to hoodlums or hired assassins, I declined because, based on the above scripture, the One who called me has more than enough angelic bodyguards to take care of my security, and they are more effective than a billion human bodyguards could ever be. Note however that the angels of God should never be worshipped or prayed to. Often times, because of their awesome nature, those who encountered them attempted to do this, but every time, these angels themselves forbade them from doing so (Revelation 22:8-9). Are you enjoying the ministry of angels?

Action Point:
Thank God for His ministering spirits that have been assigned to take care of you.

*PSYCHOLOGY OF POSITIVE THINKING: TIPS FOR FULFILLED LIFE*

*1. Don't complicate life. We won't be here forever. Once this day is over, it's gone forever. Your time is too valuable to waste on nonsense.*

*2. No matter what knocks you down in life, get up and keep going. NEVER GIVE UP. Great blessings come as a result of great perseverance.*

*3. Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction. Break the habit. Talk about your joys.*

*4. Good things come to those who believe, better things come to those who are patient, and the best things come to those who don't give up.*

*5. Do not pray for an easy life; pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.*

*6. Disappointments were not meant to destroy you. They were meant to strengthen you and give you fortitude to accomplish your God-given destiny.*

*7. We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but by appreciating what we do have.*

*8. Your child will follow your example, not your advice.*

*9. One day, you'll be just a memory for some people. Do your best to be a good one.*

*10. Associate yourself with people of good quality. For it is better to be alone than in bad company.*

*11. Don't fear change. You may lose something good, but you may also gain something great.*

*12. When you love what you have, you have everything you need.*

*13. The greatest act of faith some days is to simply get up and face another day.*

*14. Never let the things you want make you forget the things you have - GRATITUDE.*

*15. Commitment means staying loyal to what you said you were going to do, long after the mood you said it has left you.*

*16. When you choose to forgive those who have hurt you, you take away their power.*

*17. Patience is not the ability to wait, but how you act while you are waiting.*

*18. Isn't it ironic:*
*- We ignore those who adore us, but adore the ones that ignore us*
*- We love those who hurt us, but hurt the ones that love us.*

*19. Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. Every story has an end, but in life every end is just a new beginning.*

*20. You were born to win. Although to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win.*

*21. Every day is a NEW beginning, take a deep breath and START AGAIN.*

*22. Know that you are loved. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are beautiful. You have purpose. You are a masterpiece.*

*23. Don't compare your progress with that of others. We all need our own time to travel our own distance.*

*24. Surround yourself only with people who are going to lift you higher.*

*25. Bad things happen everyday to everyone. The difference is in how people deal with it.*

*26. When you make a commitment, you build hope. When you keep it, you build trust.*

*27. Two things define you: Your PATIENCE when you have NOTHING, and your ATTITUDE when you have EVERYTHING.*

*28. Being honest may not get you a lot of FRIENDS but it will always get you the RIGHT ONES.*

*29. Working on yourself is the hardest part of life. Keep growing up, no matter where you are.*

*30. Be selective in your battles. Sometimes peace is better than being right.*

*31. Keep people in your life who truly love you, motivate you and make you happy. If you know people who do none of these things, let them go.*

*32. Be happy not because everything is good, but because you can see the good side of everything.*

*33. OPTIMISM*
*NO ➔ Shortcuts*
*NO ➔ Quick fixes*
*NO ➔ Blaming others*
*NO ➔ I'll do tomorrows*
*NO ➔ EXCUSES!!*

*34. Surround yourself with positive people who will support you when it rains, not just when it shines.*

*35. Being defeated is often a temporary condition; giving up is what makes it permanent.*

*Enjoy God's grace on this journey we call LIFE.*

What are the benefits of a healthy diet?
A healthy diet may help to prevent certain serious diseases such as heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes. It may also help to reduce your risk of developing some cancers. If you become sick, eating a healthy diet may help you to recover more quickly. Also, a main way of preventing obesity and overweight is to eat a healthy diet. If you are overweight or obese, eating a healthy diet can help you lose weight.

As well as healthy eating, regular physical exercise is also very important for health and to avoid or reduce obesity. See also separate leaflet called Physical Activity for Health.

What makes up a healthy diet?
As a general rule, vegetables, fruits and starchy foods should provide the bulk of most of your meals. The remaining part of your diet should be made up from milk and dairy foods and protein foods. As mentioned above, you should limit the amount of foods and drinks that are high in fat or sugar. The dietary guidance to reduce your risk of heart disease is as follows:

Intake of saturated fat to less than 10% of total fat intake (preferably in lean meat and low-fat dairy products):

Replace saturated fat with polyunsaturated fat where possible.
Eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables per day (new research has suggested that we should all aim for seven portions per day).
Eat at least two servings of fish (preferably oily fish) per week.
Consider regularly eating whole grains and nuts.
Keep the amount of salt in your diet to less than 6 g per day.
Limit alcohol intake to less than 14 units per week for men and less than 14 units per week for women. See also separate leaflet called Alcohol and Sensible Drinking.
Avoid or reduce the following in your diet:
Processed meats or commercially produced foods (including 'ready meals') which tend to be high in salt and trans fatty acids.
Refined carbohydrates, such as white bread and processed cereals.
Sugar-sweetened drinks.
High-calorie but nutritionally poor snacks, such as sweets, cakes and crisps.
Below, the principles of a healthy diet are explained. It is general advice for most people. If you have a specific health problem, or specific dietary requirements, this advice may not apply to you. If in doubt, you should check with your doctor. There are also some changes that pregnant women need to make to their diet. See separate leaflet called Planning to Become Pregnant for more details.

HEALTH INFORMATION
RELATED TO YOUR DIET

A note about the different food groups
What are the benefits of a healthy diet?
What makes up a healthy diet?
A healthy diet may help to prevent certain long-term (chronic) diseases such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes. It may also help to reduce your risk of developing some cancers and help you to keep a healthy weight. This leaflet explains the principles of a healthy diet. It is general advice for most people. The advice may be different for certain groups of people, including pregnant women, people with certain health problems or those with special dietary requirements.
A note about the different food groups
Your body needs energy to work normally and keep you alive. You obtain this energy from nutrients in the food that you eat - mostly, carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Minerals and vitamins are other nutrients that are also important in your diet to help your body stay healthy.

It is important to find the right balance between these different nutrients to achieve maximum health benefits (see below). A balanced diet generally contains food from each of the following food groups:

Starchy foods such as bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, etc.
Fruit and vegetables.
Milk and dairy foods.
Protein foods. These include meat, fish, eggs and other non-dairy sources of protein (including nuts, tofu, beans, pulses, etc).
Fatty and sugary foods are the fifth food group that you eat. However, only a small amount of what you eat should be made up from fatty and sugary foods.

In addition to the above, having plenty of fibre and water in your diet is also important for your health.

Whether you're heading off to spin class, boot camp, or any other exercise, it's always important to hydrate so you can stay energized and have your best workout. Electrolyte-loaded athletic drinks, though, can be a source of unnecessary calories, so "drinking water is usually fine until you're exercising for more than one hour," says Newgent. At that point, feel free to go for regular Gatorade-type drinks (and their calories), which can give you a beneficial replenishment boost. But worry not if you like a little flavor during your fitness: There are now lower- cal sports drinks available, adds Newgent, so look out for 'em in your grocery aisles.

*"Walking"*
is the best exercise!!! This is one principle that I've applied and is working for me

*Walk Away* from
arguments that leads you to nowhere but anger.

*Walk Away* from
people who deliberately put you down.

*Walk Away* from
any thought that reduces your worth.

*Walk Away* from
failures and fears that stiffle your dreams.

*Walk Away* from
people who do not care for you and who are opportunistic.

Eventually you've stopped going to the church because someone spoke to you in a way you didn't like...

Most of the messages from the pulpit was against you from your opinion...

Nobody called you when you were sick because according to you, "they do not love or care in the church..."

But pls excuse me...

You've not stopped working for the boss who insults you most of the time, neither have you stopped work because your colleagues spoke ill of you... (Money was the reason)

When you were sick, you didn't wait for your boss to call you or look for you at work. Rather, you called and told him about your present condition. No complaint about him not visiting you (Fear of query or loss of the job)

Do you remember that at school, your teachers, your schoolmates and or even your best friends offended you, yet you didn't stop schooling..

You can easily miss Church but not lectures because the lecturer will take attendance which counts in assessment

You can be late with your appointment with God at Church but you will be extra early for your visa interview at the embassy...

Who are you deceiving?

I don't blame you too much. Maybe you don't know or you don't have adequate revelation about Church...

Please, Hear Me! Church is not a "No Offense Club" where all things be must done to please you and you alone.

What have you done in church for the good of others?

According to Scripture the first knowledge everybody must have about Church is that... It's *The House Of God* and *The Gate of Heaven*... Genesis 28:17...

Your charisma may take you there but your salvation and spirit-led life will decide whether you will enter heaven or not.

Your service to God must be with reverential fear, honor and respect.

God is watching... _

I pray for you this glorious morning that, the same situation that makes you depressed and sleepless will begin to make you joyful and peaceful as from this moment in Jesus name. The bad experience that seems you can never forget will soon become things you can hardly remember, because of the new song God will give you today in Jesus name. May every trouble of yours, become a stepping stone to your victory in Jesus name. I declare your day of joy will not meet you in the grave in Jesus name. May you live to witness more greater exploits in Jesus marvelous name. Amen. Good morning and stay blessed.

ONE WITH GOD IS A MAJORITY

Memorise : And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 2 Kings 6:16

Read: 2 Kings 6:8-17

6:8 Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.

6:9 And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down.

6:10 And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.

6:11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?

6:12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

6:13 And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.

6:14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.

6:15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

6:16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

MESSAGE :

One fundamental reason why some people have their back against godly living is that the ungodly are more in number than those who are godly. It takes faith in God to live a godly life in this age of political correctness, the ascendancy of the philosophies of relativism and humanism, and agitation for the “fundamental human rights” of people involved in acts that are despicable to God.

The age-long saying that “one with God is majority” is no longer popular because no one wants to suffer humiliation and marginalization by the ungodly majority. The story in our Bible reading demonstrates the truth that one with God is indeed a majority. While waging war against the king of Israel, the king of Syria discovered that all the tactical information he was discussing with his generals was somehow revealed to the king of Israel again and again. The king of Syria was so troubled by this, because he thought he had a mole among his men, divulging all his secrets to the king of Israel.

My prayer for you today is that God will expose every plan of your enemies to you, and all their destructive schemes against you will fail in Jesus’ Name.

When the king of Syria discovered that Elisha was the divine informant leaking his secrets, he ordered his arrest. On seeing the great host of the king of Syria that came by night to arrest his master, the servant of the prophet was so afraid and he cried out to Elisha, “Alas, my master! How shall we do?” the prophet, in 2 Kings 6:16, answered thus:

“...Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.”

After Elisha prayed that the Lord should open the eyes of his servant, the young prophet saw an angelic host with horses and chariots of fire around where they were. There and then, he believed that indeed there is a majority of hosts with the one who is on the Lord’s side.

The question is, are you on God’s side? You have no reason to fear if indeed you are with God. When we are in the minority from a physical perspective, our Lord Jesus Christ warns us against being discouraged, because with God on our side, we are always in the majority. After all, Jesus’ Name is Emmanuel, which means “God with us” (Matthew 1:23). 1 John 4:4 says,

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

I therefore encourage you to move on to the righteous side of God today. Moving on to the side of Jesus Christ is moving on to the side of victory, redemption and peaceful living.

PRAYER POINT :
Father, I have learnt that one with You is a majority; I therefore come to declare anew my allegiance to You. Please receive me to Your side and fight my battle for me.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR :
2 Corinthians 8-10;
Daniel 7:1-12

HYMN 18: ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIER

1. Onward Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
Going on before.
Christ, the royal Master,
Leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
See, His banners go!

Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus,
Going on before.

2. At the name of Jesus
Satan’s host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers,
On to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver
At the shout of praise:
Brothers, lift your voices,
Loud your anthems raise!
[Refrain]

3. Like a mighty army
Moves the Church of God:
Brothers, we are treading
Where the saints have trod;
We are not divided,
All one Body we—
One in faith and Spirit,
One charity.
[Refrain]

4. Onward, then, ye people!
Join our happy throng;
Blend with ours your voices
In the triumph song.
Glory, laud and honor
Unto Christ, the King;
This through countless ages
Men and angels sing.
[Refrain]
