promisechuks: Thank you sir. May our Lord fill and replenish you with His grace and the Spirit of God. Surprisingly, I studied about grace, faith, salvation and the law yesterday and this morning. The spirit of God opened my eyes to discover that many Christians (with me inclusive as at then) struggle to keep the law believing that by it, they shall see God, not knowing that the purpose of the law is not to keep people on the right path but to bring condemnation upon us. It is there to make people know that they have sinned, stopping all human excuses and bringing all under God's judgement. You will know the law but cant keep it, instead, we keep battling with sin which is inherent in our flesh. Even when we keep it, we are still not made righteous by it. But with the grace of God through faith and the gift of Holy spirit, we are set to righteousness. We no longer battle to do the right thing or keep the law, rather, we do the good by default with no strength of our own. The Adamic nature which is susceptible to sin and is already condemned, is substituted. Bro, I battled against a particular sin for more than eleven years. I was dejected and helpless. I kept going back to it immediately or few days after repentance. I was miserable, not until last year when i accepted Christ fully to take over, and asked for his grace. Now, I dont even remember the sin, I am no longer slave to my desires. Everything left with no struggle of mine. For this topic, one may read Titus Chapter 3, Romans 3, 4 and 5. Thank you. 1 Like |

Yes, I know I should be very careful and prayerful, but I don't even have any enemy in my work place, neither do i struggle for a position or eye the same position as any other. My thought was actually outside my work place, but thanks to you all. |
Religion / Any Help With The Interpretation Of This Dream? by Penssuwa(m): 11:06am On Mar 08, 2016 |
First, I must say that i dont usually remember my dreams when i wake, except, sometimes, the fragments or parts of it. This morning, I had a clear and detailed dream which i believe was a message. Surprisingly and unusually, the three sequences of alarm i set could not wake me until the dream ended about 15 minutes after the alarm. In the dream, it was like a school, or an institution. Some of the management staff in my current work place were the teachers in the school, while our MD was the Head. I was more like a supporting teacher or just the only student. My relationship with them in the dream was like that of colleagues, but I was their junior (even in real life). It happened that some police officers came to arrest me in my house, having a charge against me, for which i would be imprisoned. I explained to them how i did not commit the offence and that I was not even around when it allegedly happened. After all explanation, they became so surprised and promised to investigate the matter very well, asking that i report to the station later, which i obliged. Later, someone came to my room and said that there is another charge brought against me by a girl pretending to be sent by the police. He revealed to me that it was the girl's mother (a senior colleague in another department) that prepared the charge herself, and not the police. That she did it because she was mad that police could not arrest and incarcerate me as she engineered them to do by lying against me, so she wanted me to hand myself in. She was the one instrumental for all accusations. I came out and met the girl, pretending I didnt know who she was. I asked her to tell me the truth on who gave her the charge sheet, she said it was her mother. I collected the charge sheet and was happy not only that i would be vindicated but that i have gotten evidence against the woman for her prosecution. After then, I went to the school to parade myself and make her see that i was not imprisoned as she planned, instead, our Head invited me to query me on the report my accuser gave her of things I did. After my explanation, she was surprised and said she would investigate her and bring her to justice. In the dream, other colleagues/seniors were in my support, though not openly. I woke up after. Now, I feel like the dream has nothing to do about my work place or the woman used in the dream. Can anybody help me please? |

That message of not judging others does not mean we shall not preach the truth to people, rather, it is not for us to declare people guilty of sin. No one is put right before God by doing what is right, but His grace in us does that (Romans 3:20, Titus 3:7). A criminal we condemn today might enter heaven before us. We are admonished to show people love instead of judging and hating them for their sins, preaching God's salvation through Christ. It's not for us to weigh others sins, and criticize them for being sinful. Everybody deserves death; both the bomber, murderer, liar, greedy and the self righteous, but for the grace of God which is for everybody. |

Religion / Re: Bible Said Jesus Didn't Die For Anybody Sin Nor He's Crucified by Penssuwa(m): 2:07pm On Feb 03, 2016 |
It means you believe in the teachings of the Bible to have employed it in your vain argument and disjointed interpretation. If you adopt Bible as instrument in proving your point, you are indirectly condemning yourself because the same Bible says that Jesus is the only way the truth and life, whoever wants to go to the father must do so through him. 1 Like 1 Share |

Wrong at all falls. This is not love that Christ preached nor salvation He brought to us. Spirituality has been sacrificed on the altar of Religiousness. This is not generally practiced in Catholic church. 18 Likes |

Lovely piece. Summary: Do not wait to fight sin when it is before you, staring directly at your face. Rather, avoid all circumstances that may lead to sin. There are ways that seem right to men but the end is destruction. |

Do you know you can start from 12pm or may be from 6pm to 12pm for instance. You can even fast on food only and drink water. Your fasting could be on that thing you like so much. That thing you are almost addicted to. Be it game, food, too much talking etc Just understand that fasting is not just physical as it seems. Or just a mere strict physical process. 1 Like |

I will share a dream I had about 4yrs ago. I was before the gate of hell with my friend happily dancing to Safe by M.I. throwing our hands in the air. I woke up, but that did not deter me from playing worldly songs until this year when by the grace of God the dream started disturbing my mind again. Bro, the simple question is: does it glorify the Lord? If not, does it teach good lessons? If not, who then does it glorify? Your answer is as good as mine. Avoid profane and "indecent" music, that's where devil subtly get some people |
