Investment / Investment Opportunities In Rehab Centers And Homes by Petenoir(m): 5:40am On Sep 15, 2023
Presently it's undeniable that there's a very high rate of illicit drugs use among both old and young despite the tenacious efforts of drug agencies. Particularly among the youths, illicit drug use has now become fashionable, woke and modest.
Drug use like every other acts has a future effect if not immediate.
In this sense, it may be safe to say that in the nearest future we shall start to see the effects of the the illicit drugs being used today amongst the growing number of youths.
Major among the effects is mental breakdown which usually results in other destabilizing health issues.
In this regard it will be a good investment opportunity to start building rehabilitation centers and homes to cater for the coming tsunami of mental health patients of drug use.
More and more rich and well to do parents and families will be looking for rehab centers and homes to hide their shame and irresponsibility at any cost.
This definitely will mean they'll be ready to spend as much as they can just get relief.
Demand for carers is also a factor that's likely to surge in the nearest future as some may prefer to stay at home.
Since govt will not be able to handle it all, it will be willing to issue more license or permit to build centers to cater for the demand.

So if you're thinking of anything real estate investment or a long term investment, you may want to consider an investment in rehab centers and homes. It is a gold mine waiting for investors.

Business / Why You Should Stay Away From Pamcredit Loan App by Petenoir(m): 9:05am On Jan 14, 2023
Pamcredit loan app is operated by a company named EgdeFinance and from all indications it's likely ran by Indians who employed Nigerians as agents/workers who work more or less like slaves (No weekend, no public holidays)

They tag themselves as one of the best loan Apps but beneath lies a very terrible experience for unsuspecting users.

On installation, they give you one of the longest and smallest print terms and conditions you'll ever read. Then their app demands access to upload onto their server, your SMS, Contacts (who they call or send msgs to when you default), Camera and other essential Apps and feature on your phone.
Access to your bank account is also requested which they automatically deduct from before your due date.

LOAN
They operate a loan offer which at initial stage seem fast and seamless. Your quick and timely repayments increases your limit but here's the trap: The more your limit increase the the more your minimum obtainable increases. You have no total control on the amount you can borrow. A certain amount is set for you and you can't adjust it downward to suit your capacity so you end up borrowing more than you need.

When you envisage or foresee a possible delay in your repayment, there's no option to extend your loan. When you reach out to explain to them, their customers care literally shut you down in their usual rude and taciturn manner.

A day before your due date, you're most going to be called and pestered to pay up immediately that very day so to enjoy more limit increase blah blah.
Your registered bank account will be deducted if you have any money there.

If eventually, you defaulted, then your nightmare begins.
On the first day of your default, be assured that you're going to receive several threatening phone calls and of course Whatsapp msgs from their agents.
You're automatically charged an outrageous and inexplicable amount as what they call SERVICE CHARGE coupled with PENALTY CHARGE. This SERVICE CHARGE keep increasing arbitrarily everyday till the day you make the repayment.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

No matter how genuine your excuse is or how civil or responsible or committed or convincing you sound on the phone with them you're just a lying debtor (nothing like customer to them). You're seen as someone who's already absconded with their money.
They sound literally like loan sharks.

When you initiate a chat with them they demand for your number and email which is not safe with them at all. They have an obnoxious habit of sharing your contact with other loan Apps.
In the next hour of getting your contact, you'll be bombarded with texts and Whatsapp msgs from unknown numbers offering you different types of loans. You begin to wonder how did they know you needed a loan

I'm sharing this to prepare already customers and potential ones, not fall into this trap.

No matter how broke you're and if you value your mental health please stay away from PAMCREDIT Loan App.
There are other better loan Apps with humane and easy terms.
But you can borrow from PAMCREDIT if you're very 100% sure that you're not going to DEFAULT cos that's where your hell begins no matter how good your history or past records with them.

Education / This Plastic Youth by Petenoir(m): 6:16am On May 17, 2022
Gone are days when youths take their destinies in their hands.

Remember how youth made changes?
Remember how youth confronted govts?
Remember how youth changed govt policies?

What do we have today?
Youth that can't tie their own shoe lace or knot their tie without the nanny.
Youth that can't handle a cutlass.
Youth that can't enter ordinary bush and cut bamboo or sticks for school project?
Youth that only watch adventures on TV.
Youth that can't singlehandedly kill a rat talk more of a snake.
Youth that can't do school runs without parents assisting
Youth that can't walk a distance to school alone.
Youth that can't cut school lawn.
Youth that can't stand up to a bully.
Youth that can't defend a sibling.

Youth that eat plastic, eat in plastic, drink in plastic, eat with plastic.
Plastic youth!
Only hide behind plastic keys to run their plastic mouths.
Spineless youth!
Indomie Youth!

Politics / Is it A Crime For Govt To Build Or Own A Refinery? by Petenoir(m): 7:59am On Mar 26, 2022
I don't know if it's a crime or taboo or it is forbidden by the constitution for our government to either build, own, maintain or operate a refinery.
With the volume of crude oil at our disposal and the dependency on fuel by the citizens is it not common sense for a refinery to build to take care of the need of the people just like building fertilizer plants for farmers? What do I even know...
I don tire..
Politics / Nigerians' Double Suffering by Petenoir(m): 8:53am On Mar 23, 2022
When it comes to suffering, Nigerians are always doing it double:

Ex.
1. You buy high cost foodstuffs and cook it with high cost gas or kerosene.
2. You pay high cost subscription and buy high cost fuel to watch your subscription.
3. You buy high cost vehicle only to maintain it with high cost parts and accessories.
4. You buy high cost land only to build it with high cost building materials.
The list is endless. I'm tired. Just add yours.

Crime / Global Crackdown On Organised Crime After High-tech U.s.-australia Sting by Petenoir(m): 11:47am On Jun 08, 2021
U.S. and Australian agencies hacked into an app used by criminals and read millions of encrypted messages, leading to hundreds of arrests of suspected organised crime figures in 18 countries, Australian officials said on Tuesday.
The operation by Australian police and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation ensnared suspects in Australia, Asia, South America and the Middle East involved in the global narcotics trade, the officials said.
Named Operation Trojan Shield by the FBI, it was one of the biggest infiltrations and takeovers of a specialised encrypted network.
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the operation "struck a heavy blow against organised crime – not just in this country, but one that will echo ... around the world".
"This is a watershed moment in Australian law enforcement history," Morrison told reporters in Sydney.
Australian Federal Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw said police raids in 18 countries netted hundreds of suspects. Europol and the FBI said on social media they would hold news conferences later on Tuesday.
Australia said it had arrested 224 people, including members of outlawed motorcycle gangs, while New Zealand said it had detained 35 people.
The operation, which was conceived by Australian police and the FBI in 2018, saw officials in the United States take control of the An0m messaging app used by organised crime networks.
When an Australian underworld figure began distributing customised phones containing the app to his associates as a secure means to communicate, police could monitor their messages. The gangs believed the system was secure because the phones did not have any other capabilities - no voice or camera functions were loaded - and the app was encrypted.
"We have been in the back pockets of organised crime," Kershaw said at the same media briefing. "All they talk about is drugs, violence, hits on each other, innocent people who are going to be murdered."
The messages were brazen and there was no attempt to hide behind any kind of code, he said.
"It was there to be seen, including 'we’ll have a speedboat meet you at this point', 'this is who will do this' and so on."
Kershaw said the Australian underworld figure, who had absconded from the country, had "essentially set up his own colleagues" by distributing the phones and was a marked man.
"The sooner he hands himself in, the better for him and his family," he said.
One murder plot that authorities got to know of involved plans to attack a cafe with a machine gun, while a family of five was also targeted. Authorities said they were able to prevent these attacks.

Executing Australia's largest number of search warrants in one day, police on Monday seized 104 firearms, including a military-grade sniper rifle, as well as almost A$45 million ($34.9 million) in cash. Around A$7 million was found in one safe buried beneath a garden shed in a Sydney suburb.
A total of 525 charges have been laid but authorities expect more in the coming weeks.
