One night there was eclipse of the moon, we were woken around 2am by chants of "La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasool Allah". My host informed us to be ready to run, the chants could turn violent.

We paired through the window to see moslems in their hundreds chanting with all their strength as if ready for war.
We could not sleep again till morning. Then we read from the papers what it was all about. The moon turned red (normal eclipse), but moslems interpreted it to mean that Allah was angry with the sins of the infidels. That night, people were killed both in Kano and in Kaduna because they were "infdels" who made Allah angry.

After Zaria, I lived in Abuja for a while. there was this mosque near my residence. Every morning the preacher in that mosoque would get up to mock christianity and the bible and no Christian bothered about him. Let he reverse be the case and the world would be turned upside down.

He copied some things from the Old Testament and twisted them to suit his bloody revolutions. Study the Chapter titled "Miriam" and you discover the how careless Mohammad was.

He clearly stated that "Miriam the Mother of Jesus was sister of Aaron". This was a lie. The two Miriams were different and lived in different generations. The mother of Jesus, was different from the sister of Aaron though both had the same name.

That is the tragedy of marrying the state and religion. If you guys know what you are doing, then you must separate your religion from the state. How do you impose sharia laws on non moslems? I don't drink alcohol but I don't have the right to arrest or beat up a man who drinks it. The tragedy of Islam is the tragedy when the state and religion cannot be separate. Can you explain to me the "Miss World" riots during the OBJ days? The miss world stuff was not a religious fair: it was the state. Why would moslems go on rampage? You have the right to practice your religion and I have mine, why must your right include forcing other people with threats, violence and deaths?

Did you say Islam preach peace? The "peace" in Islam is only when all the "infidels" are brought under "submission".

Finally, you have refused to answer my questions: I need answers not rhetorics please. I have asked some questions, yet let me repeat them for emphasis.

I am particularly interested in the beheading of my kinsman Akaluaka in Kano over an allegation that a woman in his compound used a torn Koran to clean up her baby. I need answers why Akaluka had to be slaughtered beheaded like a goat and his head put on a spike was paraded on the streets of Kano.

Tell me why a Christian teacher was killed in cold blood by minors because she seized a copy of the Koran used by one of the "faithfuls of Allah" to cheat in an exam. I need answers as to what those kids were thought. Jesus! I am weeping all over again. My heart is heavy.

Please I need answers! I need answers why Christians were attacked and hacked to death, churches and properties were burnt because a preacher named Rheinhard Bonke was coming to Kano to preach. Did you say Islam is not violent?
