Lamido has an upended brain., we know but we've never imagined he's gone this bad In no distance future, he'd be telling us how FG bankrolled and supported the success of EFUNROYE TINUBU. And he should remind us the FG government that built the airport he named. Smartcitizen: Hahaha hahaha hahaha! Even the airport and the flyovers, anyway, how will I know you are a Yoruba man without this kind of character? Wonder why LAGOS is only distinguished in the whole of South West, you couldn't replicate that in any other states in your region YOU can use google, no problem. Which FG built the airport and what was the year? |

That monorail project is a very ambitious and ambiguous endeavor. But it's needed eventhough I may not be able to defend its viability in such scenario, particularly as it's single track. It will take a lot of years to recoup back the investment, say between 70-80 years. |

Mbanda: Ok if that is the case, where are they (army) not doing the same thing they always do in SS and SE in the north whenever terrorists attack the army? IPOBS/ESN and BANDITS/KIDNAPPERS have different modus operandi. The former set move around innocently till they attack their target without warnings (and their targets are primarily the forces, picking on them from within the peaceful neighbourhood, as they take advantage of the force restraint. it's such a daring audacity and ridicule against the might of the force) while the latter don't stay amongst the people while their primary targets are the people. They attack and return back to their hideout so the army arrives to guard the people. In the case of kidnappers, they also run their crime in isolated places and get holed up in such confinement till they're through with their game. So the people here are the VULNERABLEs that should be protected. They're likewise very cooperative with the force, providing ready info to the hideout of the criminals and usually joining force with the military team to the showdown with the gang. But the EASTERNERS have the suspect amongst them, and are finding it difficult to cooperate with the force. |

gidgiddy: They have been telling that same lie for a long time. But Gowons Decree 14 that abolished all 4 Regions, and created 12 states to replace them, is all over the Internet to tell people the truth YOU merely have lacks of good comprehensive ability. One of these days I might create a thread on that IRONSI stvpidity with all 10 pages of decree 34 analysed. At least the new generation kids need to have a copy of the decree too. MAYBE BY THEN, YOU'D UNDERSTOOD ABOLISHMENT FROM EXPANSION. |

Mbanda: That is the more reason why the army should be friendly with the locals not harassing and killing them unjustly. Killing the locals will not only increase the numbers of the so-called gunmen, it will also make the people to hate their countries army with passion. But yeye people that always cheer the military to annihilate every Igbo because of hate don't know this. OhuDealer, Raskimonojendor, Roskit1 and kestolove95. IT doesn't always work that way. What the army needs ain't to mingle with the community because they'll end up loosing the trail. NO INFORMANT gives info but under a CLOAK so the people are the ones to be cooperative. There ain't no place in the world where such happen and the military personels then arrives to establish funfair with the people. Anybody can be the suspect. And in a situation where personnels had been waylaid and killed one time too many, NOT IMMEDIATELY ASSERTING FIRM AUTHOURITY RIGHT FROM ARRIVAL COULD SPELL MORE DANGER. |

gidgiddy: If Nigeria can go back to semi-autonomous Region's that are financially independent of government, control their resources and internal security, it will be a good thing
But who is fooling who? The clamour for Regionalism is largely a Southern Nigerian thing, nobody in the North wants it. But beyond that, people have forgotten that it took a civil war to remove Regionalism, and it may require war to bring it back
In 1967 Yakubu Gowon abolished the 4 Region's Nigeria had and created 12 states to replace them. In retaliation, Ojukwu declared Biafra. It was not until the war ended that the states Gowon created became fully operational.
I have no doubt that those who fought war to remove Regionalism will fight again to see it never comes back. IRONSI AND NOT GOWON ABOLISHED THE REGIONAL SYSTEM. GOWON ONLY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE FOLLY TO CEMENT THE UNITARIANISM. AND THE WAR ONLY CAME UP BECAUSE IRONSI FOOL!SH PLAN TO CENTRALIZED ALL RESOURCES INTO THE IGBO CARE WAS SHORTLIVED AND REDIRECTED. AND HIS PEOPLE THEN CAME TO REALIZED THE FUTURE IMPACT THUS THEY ASPIRED TO BEAT IT HENCE THE WAR. |
