Was JESUS Ok With Gluttony And Excess Drinking? by OpenYourEyes1: 7:54am On Mar 22, 2021
There is a part of the scripture where it seems HE was seen as an excessive eater and drinker by people. I believe HE was doing that for the sake of the sinners HE visited during his time in the world. HE was most likely not doing it for selfish reasons but to bring HIMSELF low to the level of the sinners, be part of them in order to be able to persuade and convert them.
That is what true believers (who are full of Holy Spirit) are suppose to be doing rather than despise or avoid people living in sin.
