I would say that this is the side effect of God letting the free will of humans manifest.

God allows people to do stuff and mostly (tho no always) doesn't interfer.

So God allows people to Blaspheme and Sin, so he allows human being to act to the fullness of their hearts in this life.

God does not leave His people unprepared for what is to come - if you read through the New Testament, you will find that calamity did not fall on them without them having a way out. Even when it was time to die, the apostles seemed to handle it better than ordinary people would have. So we shouldn't assume that the same applies to all out there.

Whatever this woman is going through, only God knows her truly and knows her heart. God never sent any one of us to make assumptions as far as what is His doing and what is not. We not only misrepresent God when we do such but we also belittle her suffering when we pretend to know the mind of God regarding her circumstances or any others.
