The experience was before her masters. Although she recently got a job in that role which hasn’t been up to a month.
She Should keep doing that. when she has one year experience, then she can assess with Vetassess

Having an AQF Bachelor’s degree is important. If you don’t have that, I’d advise you don’t go for a level 1 occupation. Vetassess in recent times does not deduct 5 years anymore from applicant’s years of experience

tunlex01 thank you so much for the clarification.

Please does anyone has first-hand experience of Maritime Crew Visa, this Visa was secured for my colleague along a visiting Visa by an agent to allow him enter Australia by flight given the Crew Visa can not enter by air. I am tempted to take up this option but I want to hear anyone who has experienced this Visa option and the outcome on getting to Australia.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by stifo2012: 4:13am On Mar 23, 2021
Dont waste your money on it, its for maritime crew members.

You must:
be outside Australia when you apply
be a crew member or have a current offer to be a crew member on a non-military ship that is taking an international voyage to Australia
not be the holder of a permanent Australian visa

Yeah I know, but the agent secured a crew work along the process. Though what baffled me is the authenticity of all the documents as we verified the visa.
But at the Port of entry I want to evaluate the unforseen challenge that will arise with immigration given the nationality of the Visa holder

Hello everyone, please who have assessed their skills with engineers Australia? what was the outcome? my husband wants has over 8 years experience as a electrical /plant engineer and an engineering degree from Nigeria
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by stifo2012: 5:32am On Mar 24, 2021
Confirm the genuineness of the visa on VEVO.

If indeed he has gotten a job on a ship, then he should be fine.

He/she MUST arrive Australia by ship.

With this visa, you can...
arrive and depart Australia by sea as a crew member of a non-military ship
stay in Australia for as long as you are signed on as a crew member of a non-military ship
only perform work in Australia as a crew member that meets the normal operational requirements of your ship

BTech in Geophysics is far away from Marketing.
Also Pgd is PhD not a Master's. It won't fly.
Your best bet is Canada

Remember you said i dont qualify. i just found out i do.
please watch this video from registered immigration consultants in australia

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhoQyqYkaWI

i even went to vetesass in charge of marketing evaluation and read the rules i qualify for everything.

Now i am wondering why you discouraged me? because as long as i can prove all the work experience to be at least 3 years post graduation and at least 1 year after my second degree i qualify. this is because i have a second degree related to my occupation.

But if not related again what i need is 5 years work experience randomly and at least 1 year relevant degree to have positive assessment.

also just heard they rarely do deductions as before.

Anyway please check so you don't further discourage others

So sorry you felt I discouraged you. That was not the intention.
The intention was for you not to waste your funds.
Your Btech, which university is that from and how many years was the course for?
I still repeat that PgD is not Masters and VETASSES does not interchange both of them.
As regards the video you referred me to, that’s just a general information and more so, most Asian first degrees (Indian precisely) are regarded as a Bachelor degree AQF even when they are 3/4 years. It’s just the way their education is also regarded so it may not apply when an Indian consultant who doesn’t know how Nigerian qualifications are ranked in the AQF. Vetassess rules are slightly different as there are AQF Associate or Bachelors degree which Vetassess follows to the latter.
I believe you have read the information sheet for your occupation. That’s the same way it’s written for most other occupations too especially level 1 occupations.
You heard that Vetassess does not do deduction and I can tell you for free, they still do. Individual qualifications, graduation year and the level of occupation if it’s 1, 2, or 3 also play major roles in the assessment outcome.
Respond to the bolded and good luck in your application

Great!
You can assess then with your MBA.
You should be able to get at least 5 years approved from 2015.
Get your documents and start the process. You should also send your ND, HND and MBA transcripts so it reduces the number of years to be deducted.

Hi, if a family of 2 wants to relocate to Australia, is it best to use an agent or otherwise,
2. How much should they have in their account before relocating?

1. Using agent is dependent on the type of visa you are processing.
2. No one can give you an estimate without full information

Hi, I have a BSc in geology (2014) and an MSc in petroleum geology (2018). Worked as a technical staff in a university from 2017-2019 and now a lecturer from 2019 to date. Bro, yes initially i felt so but it changed because there is a lot of truth to it. I have seen how tricky australia process is. The conditions are much, Infact what people say is these days usually people with 90 points only above get invited

My B.tech degree(applied geophysics is from FUTA and its 5 years. PGD (enterpreneurship development) is just one year and almost irrelevant because i dont know how they will evaluate a Diploma...but its the closest degree to my occupation (marketing specialist or analyst) i have 4 years post graduation work experience already and if its not enough i will wait 1 more year hopefully my occupation is still needed then

I am still very much talking the advice you gave me for canada. However i will still try aussie when i get much more concrete information.

Thank you for responding properly to me, I'm sure no one takes the help you provide her for granted

Hello everyone, please I have some concerns that require the input of experts in the house. I have gotten a positive assessment with EA for Telecom Engineer. However, I have not assessed my years of experience because of the complexity of the process. I only got payslips and an employment letter but I can't get tax clearance or pension slip from the Nigeria company. Although, the company is willing to pay for all those years, but I am concern it will not reflect the years(2013-2018) as it will just be paid this year. Please what can I do?

What about 2018 to date?

No IRS will give you tax clearance certificate of 2018 in 2021 but u can only get receipts of payment. I'm not so sure if it will be sufficient for work experience assessment.

oh sorry. But Tax clearance certificate can only be issued for the most recent 3 years that is 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Do you have salary bank account?

Maybe you discuss with the company. I don't think you need to assess your work experience though but you need the documents to show DHA as part of proof of work experience.
