No wonder the time infinity stone disappeared with you. It is well.

The one problem the Nets have is that there is only one ball. This is the same issue the Lakers had with Kobe, Shaq, GP and Karl Malone vs Pistons 2004. If the Nets run into a team like the Detroit Pistons of 2004, they could be in trouble. That team had a world class coach (Larry Brown), world class defense (all 5 starters were stingy), a savvy floor general (Billups) and everybody bought in. Ben Wallace didnt have to get the rock. You didnt have to draw up plays for Tayshaun Prince. Rip Hamilton was fine getting 15 or 30 points.

Three teams in the league right now that could have that identity by end of the season: Heat, Utah, Lakers*. I put asterisk on Lakers because their star players have missed too much time to gel. The Heat fit the bill 100%, so its possible the Nets might not come out of the East shocked
The Nets have figured out who runs their ship already. So long as Harden plays the point and KD and Kyrie stick to scoring they would be fine

Forget Heat they are not sneaking up on anybody this year. I really think the only team that poses any real threat to Brooklyn in the East are the Bucks. Ben Simmons and his refusal to be anything other than a 6'10 Rondo will likely doom the Sixers
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:25am On Mar 31, 2021
Anthony Edwards higher ceiling? This dude is literally the most inefficient scorer in the league. All he does is jack up shots. He has a greenlight. Doesn't pass or get his teammates involved

Defensive clinic by UCLA and Michigan.. Good old school half court pound and grind basketball by both schools.. I am soooo loving it..

In today's news 1.)Anthony Edwards, by my eyes has a higher ceiling than Lamelo ball 2.) The Lakers will not win the NBA Finals 2021 (but they could make it with fit players - They are an injury away to Bron or AD to miss out of coming out of the west.
What sacriligeous statement is this? shocked I won't be surprised if you were part of the crew that wondering how doncic ended up in the lottery. Talent wise it's not even close. Edwards is an athlete, ball is, well, a baller. IQ would always trump athleticsm all day every day.
I am going to go a step further. Neither the nets nor lakers are making it to the finals. Bookmark this page!!!

E be like say na another brand of NBA we dey watch. Even when KD, Kyrie and Harden were all on the floor at the same time, with the amount of offensive talent that they have, we are not seeing them dominating games. And don't give me that bull of "they are saving themselves for the post season". Na the same arrogance the clippers carry enter post season last year and we all know how that story went. They are just a collection of superstars. All of them with emotional and fragile egos that tell you when the pressure is on, i'd wager that they'll capitulate (I'm looking at you James Harden).

Stephen A sometimes though. So you castigate Westbrook for trying as hard as he can to lead a team to win a championship, but you somehow go soft on KD for joining a 73 win team with the reigning MVP, talmbout he went there and still was their best player, talmbout he still elevated them. Ni*ga if Westbrook went to join the Warriors he still would have elevated them. But he didn't, if not he would have gotten an easy ring by now. It's still this same Stephen A who's bashing Blake Griffin and Aldridge for joining KD and Kyrie after falling short of leading their former teams to championships. Such hypocrisy.

Michael Rapaport just leaked private convos with KD. They insulted each other and KD seemed to have threaten him, the hood way.

That journalist is a cry baby though

Durant too should learn to keep quiet. Must you reply every every?

Fragile egos like I mentioned. I'm not a LeBron fan, but I respect him for his ability to let his game do the talking rather than barking at every tree like kd, Kylie, et.al

Time will tell. What I will just add is remember how Ja Morant was the high IQ player and Zion was just athleticism? Who has the higher ceiling now?

In Lebron's defence, he has been unashamed with his superteaming and ring chasing. He did try to recruit Kawhi to join him and AD and he said that he does not care about people's opinions. The issue is the fan boys deny it and insult others while at it.

Welcome to the 2021/2022 MLB season! I am excited about this season especially because of the young players who will electrify us and look to change the direction of the game. I am talking about players like J. Soto (Nationals), F. Tatis Jr (Padres), V. Guerrero (Blue Jays). This is an very important season for the MLB because viewership and interest is dropping tremendously and MLB understands they have to let go of some of the old unwritten rules and allow players become more expressive.

As for my Cubs? Dem start the season with a loss. I saw the first 5 innings. I don't expect much from us this season. It almost feels like a total rebuild at this point.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:23am On Apr 02, 2021
This Denver Nuggets team look really good together. I used to worry they were guard heavy but all that has changed with the trades they completed during the deadline.
A. Gordon looks like a different players especially on defense. I don’t think I have ever seen him move his feet as much as he has done since he joined the Nuggets. He is guarding one through five positions..

I am worried about the Clippers..

Coveniently, you guys are selectively forgetting that the current wave of superteaming and ring chasing mindset was triggered after a 73-9 GS Warriors, with the then current MVP and 3 All Stars, acquired Kevin Durant, the greatest scorer in NBA history and made themselves unplayable, blotting out any iota of competition in the NBA for 3 seasons and 2 rings until injury scuppered that unfair dominance.

Same KD then, same KD now, but no we must conveniently forget that GS happened and start the remembering from the morning Lebron tried to recruit Kawhi.

Lebron is not entirely innocent in this melee but guys some balance is good for the health.

He had gotten injured before the season began and only played the last 20 games after which many suggested he should have been ROTY but Ja Morant had played more games and deserved to win it. For context, SC and Harden were not ROTY but Dame was. Which of the 3 reached higher ceilings? NB: I know Dame was not drafted same year as them. Just showing how ROTY is not the ceiling.

Before the 2010 Miami Heats there was the Celtics perennial All Stars trio of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen of the 2007-2008 championship winning team. If you are looking for a beginning that's it for you.

And no there is no precedence for that GSW-KD annihilation combo. I also did say it was what triggered this new wave of ring chasing. The keyword is new wave.

And yes, I did point out that Lebron is not entirely guilt-free.

I completely understand you and I know you try to be fair but the new wave started from 2010. That celtics team did not start the new wave. Nobody complained about it. They were not prohibitive favorites. Miami Heat of 2010 started this new wave. KD was recruited by the 67-15 Spurs as well. I wonder why people forget this. That was the same crop of Spurs that had gone back to back in 2012/13 and 2013/14. If KD had gone there they could have possibly won 3 titles on the trot.

I've said it that the only thing KD knows how to do is score. Yet blind fans want to put him in the same sentence with LeBron all the time. His value to a team is once again being questioned by the amazing run the Nets are having without him, just like it was questioned when he went to a Warriors team that didn't need him.

Big shout out to Adia Barnes and her Wildcats! My goodness.. What an upset against No 1 UCONN, they led throughout this game except the 3rd and were the better team on defense. To even imagine the NCAA did not include them in the hype video for the final 4..

Sometimes you say some foolish things. It is okay to be a LeBron fan and still say sensible things from a basketball point of view. KD can only score...he can't defend right?
