D Lawrence Was Not Able To Rise From Death. by queenjoseph(f): 2:00pm On Apr 04, 2021
D Lawrence tried to die and resurrect the third day, but he failed.

He could not resurrect.

Another woman called herself "The only begotten daughter of God"

She died and despite the belief of her followers that she would rise again, she failed to do so.

She tried to do what Jesus did but failed.

Only Jesus could do this because He is truly the only begotten son of God.

Everyone that ever tried to emulate Him always failed because they are human.

But Jesus is God,son of God, man and the son of man.

He is all and in all.

But why does your God need a son?

Why can't he save the people he created himself instead of sending someone to be sacrificed in the dibia/babalawo ritualistic way?

Because that is the way He wants it.

He can do anything.

That is the way He wants it and no one can tell Him how He should act as far as His creation is concerned.

Alright, why do you wish to have a son?

Same reasons!

FIRSTLY,
As a Yòrùbá man that I am, it is cultural for us to call whoever we didn't give birth to our son or daughter when they do what we please.
YHWH doesn't "need" a "son" like you wrongly stated above.
Besides, Jesus wasn't the only one called "Son of God."
Adam was call "Son of God" in Luke 3: 38
Angels were called "Sons of God" in Genesis 6: 1 - 4; etc.
God is our father and we are his children (2 Corinthians 6: 18)

SECONDLY,
Before Jesus came to earth, sins were being atoned for (since time immemorial) by sacrificing blood (of birds & cattle) such as requested in Leviticus 5: 7.
But since humans willingly sin with the belief that they will atone for it with animals, that loophole had to be blocked.
How?
By shedding one last blood to atone for all further sins. But since it's the sin of men that has to be atoned for, a man's blood has to be used the final atonement, a ransom to buy back perfect human life that Adam corrupted. But sin is in the DNA of men and dirty blood can't atone for sins (just as dirty water can't wash a plate clean).
So Jesus, among all God's angels volunteered to be reduced to a man so as to shed a pure blood for the final shedding of blood to redeem one's self.

PHILIPPIANS 2: 6 - 11 reads:
6: rather, he made himself
nothing
7: by taking the very nature
of a servant,
being made in human
likeness.
And being found in
appearance as a man,
8: he humbled himself
by becoming obedient
to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to
the highest place
9: and gave him the name
that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow,
10: in heaven and on earth
and under the earth,
and every tongue
acknowledge that Jesus
Christ is Lord,
11: to the glory of God the
Father.

Firstly, Christianity is not related to Yoruba Culture. And you said so many are called "son of God" but how many is begotten/Unique as in John 3:16? In essence, your God get special son. what for? You still haven't answered it.

Why does your God need blood to atone for sin till He used His son's? This is like Babalawo rituals na!

False. I repeat I am an atheist and I have a moral standard so you are patently wrong. Stop saying things you know nothing about.

That is why you should direct your questions to Him. Just try. Call on Him in the Name of Jesus. He will surely answer.

Did you steal from God to get those moral standards? Let me ask you a question : as a self-proclaimed atheist, can you possibly justify why something is good and something is bad?

No I didn't steal from your god because I am morally better than your god.

Yes I can justify why I consider something good or bad.

Faithful? Your God is faithful you mean?

You know some words are funny to me i mean why should you say your God is faithful? Or you bless your God when it's supposed to be vice versa!

In the actual sense i believe all humans are blessed in one way or the other. Human want is limitless and we can never get all what we want.

And of what importance is Matthew 7:7 when you ask and it's not given?

Now you framed a proper question.

I can justify why something is good or bad to me because I have an objective framework with which I can gauge actions. And by objective I mean goal oriented not absolutes.

The " objective framework" comes from where? What exact standard are you using to asses and measure?
