The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), says Nigerians should blame anarchists and bad losers among politicians for the current wave of insecurity in Nigeria.

Prof. Ishaq Akintola, Director, MURIC disclosed this in a statement in Lagos on Thursday.

“It is unfortunate that many Nigerians are not prepared to say the truth concerning who is actually responsible for the current spate of killings, kidnappings, banditry and insurgency.

”Some Nigerians know exactly who to blame but fear will not allow them to speak up. However, MURIC has a duty to say it as it is no matter whose ox is gored.

“Certain conscienceless elements are manipulating information by spreading fake news in order to incite Nigerians against the Federal Government.

“Bad losers among the politicians are also hell-bent on ensuring that the present administration fails in all aspects of governance,”
he said.

He added that there were also anarchists whose main objective was to sabotage security facilities, debilitate the security agencies and seize their weapons to unleash terror on innocent Nigerians.

“The real active sabotage of government’s efforts at solving the security challenge was seen during the last #ENDsars protests.

“The release of prisoners, the burning of police stations and the carting away of police guns were all symptomatic of a deliberate attempt to render the security apparatus impotent as well as a determination to unleash anarchy.

“Nonetheless, the recent terrorist attack on Imo State Police command headquarters speaks volumes regarding the determination of anarchists to ensure that we continue to have security challenges.

“The simultaneous attack on Owerri prison during which about 1,844 prisoners were released further confirms the diabolical objectives of the anarchists,” he said.

Akintola who said that the implication of the attacks in Owerri was far-reaching, explained that those who attacked the police headquarters had neutralised the nerve-centre of security in the state.

He added that those who also released prisoners had turned back the hands of the security clock by several months, if not years.

“The arrest, trial and conviction of those prisoners were as a result of strenuous efforts and investigations.

“It is only enemies of the society who can send dangerous criminals who had been incarcerated back to the society without allowing them to serve their jail terms, learn their lessons and repent.

“How then can we, in good conscience, blame federal government or Buhari for the rising wave of insecurity when we are the same people destroying security facilities and setting criminals free.

“The panacea lies in the good citizens of this country coming together to expose enemies of peace. Nobody should think that another leader has the magic hand,” he said.

Has anyone noticed that since this attack in the south East
the north east has become relatively quiet ?

Igbos you people need to stop being to sentimental/emotional and start asking some serious questions.

Unfortunately for the south East ipob/ESN has made themselves the perfect scapegoat.

The game plan being currently played in the south east is as follows.

Attack different securities formation is the south east....

Blame ipob/ESN With the help of the Media.

Use their media propaganda crew to spread the BLAME on ipob, mock and ridicule the people of the East and then put FEAR in the hearts of many igbos by procasting that the south east will become another North East while ESN/ipob is another Boko haram.

Their main am is to weaken ESN so that they can operate without resistance.

Igbos make unna think ooo.

Akintola will not mention the militant wing of his faith who have been given tacit support by the state with their criminal silence and inaction to their activities.

Akintola will squeeze that his mouth and speak half truths and lies forgetting that he is a southerner first before his religion. He forgets that there is oppression in every system and even if the south is conquered and his faith propagated through out, he is going to be the lesser individual in the society.

If the Fulani terrorists were dealt with in accordance to the law, would any sane Nigerian be supporting militants and armed groups for their self perseverance?

If the current admin he praises so much because of religious affiliation was of another religion, would he give the same verdict? The insecurity seen is as a result of a culmination of bad and ineffective leadership with a docile head, a hidden cabal taking all decisions knowing the implications will not affect them, highhandedness of the government and wanton corruption. You think the Shittes, Igbos, Protesters, Farmers and all will keep quiet while the state keeps eliminating or tacitly encouraging their elimination?

It is so easy to fight back. Once one or two posts are overrun, then an armoury is overrun and the hunter becomes the hunted. All that is needed is a charismatic leader that people are willing to die for. And a lot have risen up in the oppressed regions in recent times.

Stark illiterates in government that do not understand that diplomacy, communication fairness and negotiation are tools that are bigger than military force. Military force will only give you short gains. That is why you see them still going about with impunity, nepotism, tribalism and wanton corruption.
How can you rule a diverse country and try to enthrone one tribe and religion? You don't know your history? Google the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. A > 80% Islamic country rose up to fight the brotherhood. Why do you think the US with all its military might still advocates for diplomacy and negotiation? Military force should be the last option on the table and it should be warranted, else you create a long lasting feud in the minds of the citizens that will come back to hunt.

It is not too late to steer the country away from its current path of destruction. All that is needed is a fair country for all, no matter the religion or affiliation. The current evil supremacist agenda being pursued should be stopped.

Okay u have made your point but let's say ur analysis were true (which I doubt) why does Kanu tend to support some of this attacks. After the recent attack on correctional centre in Imo, Kanu insinuated that the attack was not out of place by saying "no Biafra person should be in zoo prison"
Do you know that only that statement fingered ESN/IPOB in this whole thing or it is still Afonja media (like many Igbos call it) that put that in Kanu's mouth?

This self sponsored caliphate wannabe MURIC terrorists is so demented with retrograde amnesia that he hypocritically failed to recalled that the government of the day has made lying the official policy of government in insulting the sensibility of Nigerians with lies.

It also seems that Ishaq Akintola does not knows that the govt is a catastrophic failure in all sectors of our national life.Perhaps also he forgot that a president that scammed a nation that he will never go outside to seek healthcare outside the shores of this nation prior to being in office but who have long made a volte face is a failure.

Does it strike MURIC is seeking healthcare in a cosy London hospital even with doctors in his home country being on strike is an utter failure that ought to have long been impeached from office were the NASS truly living to its constitutional responsibility.

Sometimes, paid miscreants are behind the crisis in the country. Some people are not happy with one nigeria, afterall a politician once threatened to make the country ungovernable if a certain party loses at the polls.

Nnamdi kanu is an emotional unstable person that tend to speak without thinking. So don't be surprised that as usual he was trying to take advantage of the situation unfortunately for him it backfired.

Nnamdi kanu is not the issue for me. My worry is the majority of igbos that have allowed sentiments and emotional sensitivity to cloud their sense of reasoning therefore making them blind to the political and supremacy at play here.

The igbos are the tribe we all love to hate so it will be extremely impossible for them to get sympathy from other tribes/regions if those behind this current attacks in south east succed in their Grand plan.

Typical Yoruba human .. with love for their quick change of narratives

Wen Kanu said no Biafra person should in Nigeria prison ?

Yoruba man ... did Kanu mention Biafra person?

Yoruba man... why una hate Kanu and yet promot IGBOHO with his #1 juju...

Yoruba man ... why not concentrate on your odua nation and leave Biafra for biafrans

Yoruba man.... how’s Biafra land turning Somalia your problem ... when already Yoruba people are in idp in another country swearing and cursing.. not to return to Nigeria talk more of Yoruba land

Yoruba man... WAKILL happened to take over 10 villages .. he’s been Arrested but those villages and communities are yet to begin farming even with the rain drops

Yoruba man ... those communities women are daily been raped and their men ban from farming .. but Yoruba man is here nor concern about Kanu

Yoruba man ...... what happened to IGBOHO and his odua nation after all media hype?

Now you see .. nobody will ever take Yoruba serious in this country

OPC Gianni adams have been foarming ... no body took him serious he disappeared

Sunday IGBOHO ... the Yoruba Jesus that goes about wearing Yoruba juju and issuing press statements with kokii ... that one went offfline immediately he proudly announced rejecting igp invitation

Sunday with all combined Yoruba juju , yoruba media, yoruba abusing Tinubu simply went offline..... only for Yoruba people to reappear shouting and singing Tinubu praises after using Sunday to abuse him

Why are yoruba people of southwest Nigeria like this...
EVEN TO THEMSELVES

So these MUMURIC can’t for once in their useless lives admit the atrocities being done by their herdsmen. God! Which kind country be this! Look at the useless and stupid comments from them! angry

Who started all these violence in the first place? if Fulani had kept their killings to themselves and coexist with the people of South, East and West all these happening right now won’t have in the first place! When they commits atrocities and get arrested, police will release them. All these police killings are payback! Fulani own dey come I can beat you. Igbos are loving people but if you push them against the walk, they will strike back with venom! Nigerians nova start o! Make Buhari leave power first! Fulani will turn endangered species in Nigeria! Mark my words!

Sunday Igboho who is defending his people from being killed is now Jesus. I blame the likes of Tinubu who keeps on selling his people for a blind presidency ambition he will not live to see cheesy

These people have an agenda to do to us what the Egyptian did to the Israelites during the era of Moses. You can’t tell me otherwise!
