I feel the same way I did before I got rich... Which is different from how I felt before I decided I was already rich. Mindset first. When I made my first million, it didn't feel like a big deal, which is funny because once upon a time I thought a million was "big money." When I stopped thinking it was "big money," I got it easily and faster. Now I've learned from experience that the idea of "big money" is basically an unhealthy assumption that one is not worthy or deserving of such sums. Besides, one person's "life changing money" is another person's "toilet paper money." When I began to place value on myself and my work, when I decided to see myself as worthy, when I decided in my mind that I am rich and began to think and act in ways rich people do, I got rich. There was a small window in time where if you had known the former me (broke, starving, owing money, depressed, suicidal), and you'd somehow gotten into my head to see my thoughts before my riches crystalized (I'm going to invest in this, save my money in that, buy xyz for myself, trade and make this percentage monthly, etc) you for laugh me die. Because this thing is... How best to put it? Self delusion. I didn't go around announcing I had money I didn't, mind you. I just realized I had no one to convince but myself. In a matter of weeks, I cleared all outstanding debts and started making bank weekly, which was more valuable at the time. Then I realized I could have more. So I did just that. To summarize, it feels good. I love taking my friends out, being able to help out, knowing I don't owe anyone anything and I don't need to yes say or yes mah my soul away. The other day, I ran into one of my "detractors" at the mall. I remember the deep satisfaction I felt when he saw me and couldn't believe his eyes. And I love that I am now in a position where I don't entertain toxic people or situations anymore, because we don't vibe. I think the best part of it all is the knowing that you can generate wealth at will. All is mind. It's the reason someone wins millions in a lottery and blows it all in a few days, back to broke. It's the same reason a billionaire could lose it all, and still bounce back even better than ever. It's a hard pill for most to swallow, but you make your own "luck." Who wants to hear that, when it's easier to blame God, or Satan, Satan's cousin in the government, or the economy? Much easier to not take responsibility, than face the fact that it's actually in your hands. The power's in you. Stop delegating it to everything and everyone outside you. The fact of the matter is this: Even in the worst of times, there are those who thrive. I'm not talking about those who steal or do despicable things to make money, or try to sell you a scammy MLM. I'm talking about people doing honest work, who continue to do well... And are confident they can make success happen in whatever they get into. (This last point is key; I know a rich person whose constant fear is that he has to struggle to maintain millionaire status, because every dollar he spends out of a million makes him less of a millionaire.) So if the economy is bad, the government is crap, they're not even a little bit religious, don't consider themselves spiritual, and the country is not conducive for making profits in business... Well, why and how are they successful? (Clowns will say it's juju, lol). Anyway, wealth is lovely. Money is nice. But, since you asked about the way it feels: The best "feeling" is that of knowing. That "peace that passes all understanding" because you KNOW that what is without is simply a reflection of what is within. "If you want your reflection to smile back at you, then YOU must smile first." You are rich. Own it. I'm rooting for you! |
